About this cottage rental

Newly renovated beach cottage located in the desirable Easton's Point section of Middletown and only steps away from putting your toes in the sand. Restaurants and beaches are within walking distance!

The front cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and newly renovated throughout! All new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, new tiled floors, redone wood floors, all new bathroom, freshly painted throughout, and new furniture. Enjoy beautiful sunsets over Easton's beach from this units screened in porch.

FAQs:

Each bedroom in the cottage is equipped with AC units.

Cottage has WIFI service along with basic cable TV and a DVD palyer.

Cottage has its own stone patio with gas grill and patio furniture for dining outside along with 4 adirondack chairs.

Cottage comes with beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler for refreshments, a couple of boogie boards and some sand toys for the little ones.

Checkin and Checkout day is Saturday's for weekly rentals during July and August.

We had a wedding in Newport and decided to come a few days early to visit since we hadn’t been to Newport in over thirty years. This cottage was so clean and comfortable. We walked to the beach, visited other beaches, walked around downtown Newport, had breakfast at Sweet Berry Farm, it was a great time.

Cottage was the perfect size for a family of 3 or 4 and was very clean. Great location - quick walk to the beach, and about 10 minute drive to downtown Newport. Jim was very responsive to any questions! Would gladly stay here again.

The cottage was perfect for us. It was in pristine condition. It was very clean and well kept. It was beautifully decorated with a beach flair. We didn’t spend a lot of time there but loved the outdoor seating option when we were there.

The cabin is great. You can pretty easily walk to the Cliff Walk. There are some restaurants right near by. And the beach is right there. We had a great time.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this nice, little cottage. The location is great for seeing everything in Newport without being in the congestion of Newport. Middletown provided everything we needed as far as restaurants, grocery, gas stations. The host provided great suggestions for local restaurants and had brochures available for many of the attractions in the area.

I loved staying in this cottage. It was like my home away from home. Everything was as cute and cozy as they appear in the pics. My niece was getting married down the street and the rest of my family stayed in the hotels. I was SO glad I chose to stay here. Steps from the beach and everything I needed. Easily walked to cliff walk, shopping and more restaurants in Newport. I slept great! Loved relaxing in the big soft chair streaming movies. So convenient to have laundry and kitchen. Can’t say enough good things! Plenty of room. Jim was great to work with. ENJOY!!

This cottage was very clean and comfortable and so convenient to beaches and several great restaurants all within walking distance. A great place to relax comfortably in the evening after a busy day. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and taking to our host Jim who gave us some good advice about the local area for things to see and good places to eat. We will definitely stay there the next time we visit Newport.

My husband and I ended a two week tour of the Northeast here. We were comfortable as were our friends who stayed with us. The property is convenient to Newport; we walked on the beach near our place and had easy access to the Cliff Walk/Mansion Tours as well as a great dinner out at the White Horse Tavern. We especially liked the out back patio for drinks and conversation.

My wife and I stayed here for the 4th of July week. Cottage had a great location to first and second beach ,not to mention a number of places to eat and drink near by. Cottage was clean and well appointed for a beach vacation. Communication with the owners was easy and responsive. My wife and I felt very comfortable and relaxed staying here. We very much look forward to staying here again!!

We had the most relaxing perfect vacation at this rental. Great location to walk to the beach and we were also able to walk to restaurants. The location is also close to the cliff walk and Sachuest Point national wildlife refuge. Newport is just a short drive. So much to do and see! The cottage was comfy and clean and had everything we needed for a great vacation. The hosts were very accommodating.

We arrived just before TS Henri! Watched most of the storm from the screened in back porch. Few minute walk to First Beach. It was a 5 minute drive to Second Beach or downtown Newport. The cottage was clean, beachy and in a quiet neighborhood. Can't wait to return. Thanks Jim!

Great location!

We had a fantastic week at Jim and his wife’s place! It’s a well-priced charminglittle cottage with plenty of space for my husband and four and six-year-old. We appreciated the screened in porch and little backyard, though we were so busy adventuring that we didn’t use it much. The closest beach is private, but First Beach is a five or so minute walk. We preferred jumping in the car and driving five minutes to Third Beach (bring cash for parking) because there are far fewer people and it’s family friendly. We loved being in a quiet little neighborhood – and I could easily work in a couple of morning runs with gorgeous ocean views! Bustling Newport Center is less than 10 minutes down the road - super close! We hope to return next year.

We had a wonderful time at this rental. It was true to photos, incredibly clean, and comfortable. My brother and his family rented the cottage in the back of the property, and it was the perfect spot for our two families to vacation together. It's a short walk from the beach, and the beach is an absolute dream for little kids (huge rocks, smaller rocks to climb on, small but fun waves). Overall it was a fantastic vacation and I'd recommend the house to everyone.

We were visiting RI to ride bikes on Block Island, shop Newport and dine with friends and family. This cottage was so comfortable and clean, a great place to wind down after a busy day. Bed linens and towels were provided which was a huge plus. I would love to stay here again.

Happily surprised we had to come to Newport for a wedding and this was the best find, we have never been to the area and the beach was so nice and close. Kids loved the cottage, beach and so did we. May even come back just to stay here again and visit the ocean!

The house was just right for two adults or two couples and was very clean and equipped with all the necessary bits and pieces. Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds and are quite comfortable. The kitchen is spacious making it easy to prepare meals. The living room is small, but there is also a porch and a patio for extra room. One can easily walk to Easton’s Beach and the Cliff Walk and Newport’s a short drive away!

My husband and I stayed here just before Fourth of July weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect and the cottage is clean and comfortable. Loved the beautiful hydrangeas in the front and back. We hope to be back some day soon!

The cottage was even nicer in person than can be captured in pictures! It was clean and stocked with the necessities: towels, plates, utensils, etc. The location is great! It is a short walk to the beach and everywhere else we visited in Newport was a 10 minute drive or less. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Newport!

So cute. Just the right size for two adult couples. Loved its beach-themed decor. We came to Newport for a wedding and we are so happy we opted to stay here instead of the hotel. The house was spotless and comfortable. We could see a bit of the Cliff Walk from the screened porch. It is a short walk to Easton's Beach and about a 30 minute walk to the Cliff Walk. Several restaurants and a liquor store are within walking distance also. We ate at Tickets which had good food, great service and a great water view. We drove a short distance to Second Beach where there was plenty of free (post-Labor Day) parking. Beautiful beach. The house had beach chairs, boogie boards, an umbrella, etc. Everything we needed. We ate our breakfasts at the comfy table in the back yard. The house was well-stocked with paper goods, hand soap and dish soap. Just remember to bring soap and shampoo for the shower. Thanks, Jim, and your cleaning crew for an awesome stay. We are already hoping to return in 2020.
