Perfect location for many adventures Long Beach offers. Cute older property. Equipped with everything we could possibly need. Clean. Easy check in. Susan was great and very accommodating! Neighbors were nice. Went on a warm day. Would recommend window a/c in living room :)

This house was in a great location! It was a very short walk to the beach (right across the road), restaurants and the Belmont Pier. It is an older home, but has been updated nicely. The creaks of the floor add to the charm of the property. Susan was very helpful and responded promptly to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Having a quiet, romantic, dinner sitting at the tall dining table in front of the picture windows facing the ocean rivaled any restaurant we've been to! View is spectacular.

Booked this great rental for a week long business trip. Enjoyed the view while working late nights and the extra space for family to come visit for a few evenings. The host, Susan was responsive and a pleasure.

This was a great location, as advertised. This is why we booked, and it was lovely. The property worked fine for 3 adults who needed separate sleeping quarters. The kitchen had the essentials. The beds were comfortable, and the other renters respected the quiet times. The place was clean and had nice decor. The check in and parking was complicated as we arrived in the dark and the house number was not visible. A picture of the front of the house on the website would be helpful. But the owner was helpful when we called for assistance and we finally got in. I would stay here again.

If any of the other guests in the other villas have laud music with base,,,, you have loud music with base. door locks can be tricky, and parking is for small vehicles only, lucky the host worked out parking for us..... would we stay again........ N0 :(

First off, it is a joke to say this place accommodates six people. Four adults max can stay here comfortably! Also, we booked this place based on the amazing pictures of the garden area, where we thought we could host a small gathering. But BEWARE that you basically cannot use the garden space! The property managers have chosen to be total sticklers and literally require WRITTEN PERMISSION for any additional human beings who you may wish to enter the property while you are staying there. Once we realized that, we tried to request a refund, but the manager refused. As owners and renters of a beach house ourselves, we cannot imagine handling a misleading listing in this way. This ate up our budget for our daughter’s graduation weekend 😞 That said, here are the pros and cons of this property: PRO: * Cute and very clean apartment * sheets and comforters very soft * waterfront location with beautiful view CON: * The mattresses are terrible and need to be replaced * Hot water in shower takes forever to come out, and is barely a drip when it does * loudest refrigerator / freezer we have ever encountered, that buzzed all night

It's a perfect location from restaurants, beaches, DT , Pier. The villa comes with practically every thing you need for a comfy stay, the view from the living room is amazing!.. yeah the floors squeek but it's part of the charm lol. Also since it's right in front of a main street, it can get pretty loud but not a deal breaker for us. Susan was easy to communicate with, accommodating and really easy going. Will come back!

Wonderful and beautiful

Great area, clean, large, and had everything we needed. It does get loud with people under you and beside you at night thin walls but overall it was great. The location doesn't get better. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. Great views.

Ok so first off.id like to address the couple negative reveiws i seen beforehand.I think perhapps those people are the type that have money but dont wanna spend it.they want everything for nothing..and will never be pleased in life..lol..This place for the price..location veiws access to beach and restruants etc.cant beat it..yes its a older home and the stairs creek..and so what the silverware dont match..does it matter when youve had a few drinks lol all a part of the adventure and nistalga..susan is awsome ..and we will be comming back..if there is one bad thing to say just to keep it real...yes the water pressure in the shower is on the low side.But gets the job done..overall great time and we already tried to book for july 4th but it is already booked as i exspected...Once again cant beat the price for a two bedroom home at this location

I want to alert potential guests with mobility issues that this is not the property for you. Parking for this property (if you pay the additional fee for parking) is in the alley behind the property. There is an approximately 100 ft walk on uneven terrain to reach the property. There are several steps outside followed by an indoor stairwell (approximately 16-18 steps) that is not well lit to reach the unit. I was expecting (based on the photos) a ground level unit. In spite of several communications with the owner over the weeks prior to arrival, I first learned that I would be in a second floor unit at 3 PM on the day of my arrival. When I arrived with my 87 year old mother, she could not navigate the walkway much less the interior stairs and we ended up having to go to a hotel, losing the entire non-refundable fee that I had paid for our 3 day stay.

Owner was very easy to work with! She was kind And helped us out if we needed anything! Definitely would stay here again!

The house was at a perfect location! Everything was very lovely except the washer and dryer not working.

I'm so glad I didn't pay attention to some of the negative reviews. Susan was delightful to deal with as was Sergio the property caretaker. The home is an older home on the beach, decorated nicely. Yes, there are some areas that could use a little paint and the bed could use an update, but overall it was a nice place, especially for the price. I think it's priced well for it's minor blemishes. I'm sitting here typing this and looking out at the ocean. We'll be sad to leave! Location is superb! Once last thing, you have this amazing view in the front and a fantastic backyard space with grills and tables. We loved that garden area, too. Overall a really nice time. We'll be back!

As my title states the rental was very poor. Every fact is true and i have photos to prove it. It was very cold at night. Soo cold! Heater didnt work. I ended up staying elsewhere the last night. Shame on sudan for allowing this to happen to people travelling looking for a "home away". This home is devided into 5 units and it's run like it's just about incoming money. I don't recommend this rental if your looking for a comfortable, trouble free rental.

Ocean view is incredible. Rooms are a good size. Location is a plus- close to beach and restaurants. Mattresses, sheets and towels have seen better days. Ceiling light in living room is not working. Shower was just a trickle. Tried to connect to WiFi without success.

Exceptional Location. Lovely place to stay! Owner, Susan was fantastic as well as Gabby the cleaning lady. I have no complaints about the beautiful property. If you have arthritis in the knees or hips. There are 5 steps to the door and 16 more to get into the apt. Whew, that was tough on my body. I couldn't get the grills to work. One of them on the inside was covered in rust & the other one, knobs turned and would not catch to allow the gas to turn on. I didn't have any foil and couldn't find a baking pan so we went out to eat. Great location, 3 blocks to "The Attic," a favorite restaurant. Rosie's Dog Beach is a quick ride on the car. We LOVED staying here 🥰� HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying with your family!!

Our family stayed here on the first week of August 2019. The only positive thing is the location of the condo. Everything else is very misleading. I wished I got Rich M. Review before I booked this place. Everything he said in his review is accurate. The floor creaked, the shower handle is held by a huge bolt and still very loose. You can’t determine the location of hot or cold water. The first night we were showered with cold water! The hot water handle location is actually actually on the cold side. The bathroom faucet handle broke away on the second nights. It held in by white glue! The front light and stairs case lights were out. I contacted Susan the next morning about all of these issues, she said she will ask her husband to fix ASAP. That never happened during our 5 days stay. The fan had a buzzing noise. The washer and dryer squeaked so bad that I was embarrassed to even used it. It located outside right under the neighbors’s window which opened all the time. Both washer and dryer sound like you roll a barrel full of nuts and bolts when it turned on! This was the first time that we experienced this terrible misleading between website posting versus actual. The place felt dirty. We were very uncomfortable the whole time we stayed here. I do agreed with Rick M recommendation for Homeaway to pull this rental for major fixes before rent out to another customer.

This review is entirely factual. On the positive side, good location and good view. Negative: The owner is dishonest, deceitful and very unpleasant. She ripped us off for some of our deposit and is now trying to say that her 15 year old mattresses were stained by us, which is simply untrue. The floors creaked so badly that everyone woke up if anyone had to use the bathroom. The bathroom door handle was falling off, so was the sink handle (it actually came off) and to toilet handle. the shower faucet is held on by a huge bolt, which keeps you from getting warm water. Your choices were either hot or cold, but nothing in between. The owner left one roll of toilet paper for a family of 5 for seven days. Kitchen - There were a total of 7 pans, 3 woks (all rusted), one frying pan (also rusted) and 3 one quart sauce pans (big enough to boil two small eggs) She had a very small amount of mismatched silverware which had to be washed constantly when preparing food. The barbeque did not work, however, it did have a black widow spider. When we informed the owner she said "sorry about the spider". The next group came for a wedding party and they were NOT informed about the spider. There was no air conditioning (understandable), however, she has one ceiling fan that is very loud, one desk fan for the master bedroom and one broken fan for the other room. Several lights did not work. We saw a homeless man defecate in her front yard. There are two sets of washers and dryers, however, none of them work. The owner was very condescending and dishonest. This person should be ashamed and VRBO should pull the listing until the maintenance issues are resolved. With rusty pans, horrible beds, and black widow spiders I feel this property is unsafe for habitation. I have pictures of everything and I'd be happy to share them with anyone that asks.
