In need of TLC

+Uncomplicated entrance with code-box (we got there later than expected) +In walking distance to/from the beach. +Parking on the premises (locked single box in the underground garage) +Great space for our family (5 persons) with functional kitchen +Comfortable 'main' double bed +Many closets and dressers for storage +Washing machine

The rating was high and the pictures great, and so were our expectations. We were disappointed. It was the most expensive place we booked in Poland (We paid less for 4-stars hotels). Except the very clean bathroom, the apartment was not very clean (decorative cushions and blankets needed urgent washing, hairs and dust balls in the corners, lots of sand ON the sleep-sofa [under decorative blanket] in one room, ring marks from glasses or bottles on the windowsills, dirty utensils in the drawer). The apartment seems to get rented out a lot... to careless guests. So although the apartment is quite new, there's a lot of wear and tear (freezer door broken, kitchen table damaged, pull-out bed falling apart, sleep-sofa with broken lath, various marks on the walls) that would need to be taken care of. The sound-proofing is not hotel-grade (very noisy upstairs neighbours at 2 in the morning, fortunately only the first night), noise from the street. The first night was also quite warm, so we wanted to keep the windows open, but we had to close them because there was smoke coming in from another balcony. We would have left if we had found a better option. Fortunately, the following night was more quiet (nobody can turn off those seagulls...).
