The accommodation was cozy with a wood fire, and it had easy access to the Whangamomona Hotel, making it a great stay for those tolerant of Taranaki temperatures.
5.0
The accommodation was as advertised.
No unpleasant surprises.
Wood fire kept the house cozy.
We were there late autumn, it would have been a great addition to have a wall heater in the bathroom which was outside on the back porch.
Otherwise I would recommend a stay for those who can tolerant Taranaki temperatures.
The easy close walk to the Whangamomona Hotel was the icing on the cake.

Bookabach had house number listed as 6052-actually is 6025. Confusion reigned on arrival as raining and photo is taken from the side of the house.
Comfortable stay, middle room bed mattress needs upgrade. Generous and unexpected supplies - food and milk.
3.0
The booking information clearly stated that the stay included a continental breakfast however that did not happen. A bit disappointing really. Should get what you pay for.

Accommodation was as expected, fire was a nice touch. Payment requirements and communication from managers was ambiguous and overly complex and had us wondering whether we actually were confirmed.

Had a lovely stay at Whange Bridge House. It made for a perfect stopping spot along the Forgotten World Highway after a long day of travel. Only surprise was having to go outside to get to the toilets but this was not a huge deal as covered area around the house made it possible without getting wet in the rain.

A great wee village. Great pub. Friendly staff. Friendly townsfolk. Our hosts provided good digs at a fair price. This 'lost' valley is a great place to star gaze from on a clear night. Sooo peaceful!
Loved it. Thank you.

If you're visiting Whangamomona or travelling through the Forgotten World Highway and need some space - this is hard/impossible to beat! Old railway house that has been modernised and nicely decorated - we enjoyed our stay and will almost certainly stay here again! TV, Wi-Fi, breakfast essentials provided - plus some great reading on the history of the area.

Lovely location and outlook at the end of the village. Plenty of covered outdoor space to admire the views and a awesome fire inside for our chilly stay.
I wasn’t aware the bathroom and toilets were outside on the porch, chilly in 2 degree temperature but all part of the stay and experience. Would definitely recommend staying here, and would stay again. Ceri was great and easy to deal with as well.

A spacious comfortable oasis amongst beautifully untouched countryside. We were glad of the electric blankets on an unexpectedly cold night. Lovely setting. Wish we had more time to explore the town and enjoy the covered deck.

Very clean and convenient. Suited our needs very well. We enjoyed the quirky touches such as found in the spare loo, and the sheep outside.

CeriandPork's Bridge House was fabulous. Everything that you could need - right down to continental breakfast - was on hand. A fire with lots of cut wood if it had been cold, and the ability to cook a full dinner if you'd wanted to.
I'll be back with the rest of the family.

The cottage is just as described and is simply a cool place to hang one’s hat for a stay in Whangamomona. It is a 45 second walk to the Hotel (dinner) and is well furnished and set up. We will do our best to stay there again.

We had a fabulous time staying at Whanga bridge house. It had everything we could possibly have wanted. Great kitchen setup, plenty of towels, and delicious breakfast. Especially loved the friendly sheep out the front door. Definitely love to return again.

Very special place
The Bridge House is quirky and fun, but also comfortable and a decent size for a small group. And it's in a great location, in unique Whangamomona.
