Our 3 night stay

The room was very spacious, very clean and just ideal for our family. The staff were very friendly and accommodated our requests when ever we had them.

Didn't realise they didn't do evening meals on a weekend? Which wasn't a major problem we found other places to eat, but would have preferred to be forwarded, would still use again. The carpark can be a little tight especially for the larger car. Although the staff go above and beyond to resolve this.

Characterful, central, great value!

The corner house is characterful, well located and well kept. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and we felt our stay was very good value for money.

Our room was on the top floor and on a hot August day it was quite warm. A fan was provided but the window didn’t open very wide to allow the room to cool down. This wasn’t an issue for us as we weren’t in the room much but if you’re staying for a longer period or plan to be in the room more it may be worth requesting a room on a lower floor.

Comfortable, clean and very helpful staff. Good car parking and a lovely breakfast.

Great location, had two different rooms on our stay, the superior double room had a lot more space, the regular double was pretty small for 2 people.

Slightly noisy from traffic noise, it was a very warm night so we had the windows open!

Very enjoyable, have recommended to friends already!

The bed was excellent quality.... so comfortable. The full English was very good, quality ingredients. Parking at rear, a bonus in Frome

No mirror in the room at height for hairdryer. No Bottle of water by bed. Breakfast: very good, but fruit wasn’t ripe, no pastries

Comfortable accommodation close to the centre of Frome

The location was very good, just a short scenic walk into the centre of From and 10-15 mins walk away from the Cheese and Grain. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast very good. The room was small, but clean and comfortable and a good price. The pub had a friendly vibe.

We stayed in room 10 and were disturbed in the early hours of the morning by a noisy gathering with music in the building below us. We don't think this was anything to do with the Cornerhouse, but just an unfortunate fact of characterful old buildings and lack of soundproofing.

Lovely B&B would certainly recommend 👍🏼

The room was really well suited for us (2adults & 1 child) and really great value for money. The breakfast was lovely and there were a few options to choose from. Considering our room was directly above the pub, we didn’t find it too noisy and I would absolutely recommend staying at The Cornerhouse. Thanks for a great stay

Overall a very nice stay, we will return.

Good location with a 5 minute walk into the heart of Frome. Very good cooked breakfast with a selection of fruit juices and cereals too.

On-site parking is a bit ‘tight’. But a number of other parking options close by.

Funky Frome!

Convenient location and lovely, tasty cooked breakfast. Our bathroom light wasn't working but Ross came up and fixed it straight away, so great customer service.

Would have been nice to have a choice of yoghurt flavours at breakfast, instead of just strawberry which is only flavour I dislike, apart from that, all good.

Disappointed that we were forced to have an earlier breakfast than we wanted. That said, selection of food good and my poached eggs enjoyable.

Cornerhouse Frome

The place was nice and so were the staff and room. Cooked breakfast was lovely.

The bedroom door would not lock from inside. So, I had to put the bedside cabinet behind it. When we came down for breakfast , we were shown to our table, and they took our cooked breakfast order. We had that. Then, on the way out, on the bar were fruit juices and cereals, which we were not offered or told about. No mirror in the bedroom.

Neglected, glad when it was time to leave.

Breakfast and service at breakfast was good

Dont stay at this place especially room 8. Very bad smell in toilet and later toilet dripped none stop. Black & Mould in shower. Place does not reflect booking rating. Pat testing was 7 years out of date. I believe this used to be a nice place but it is now neglected and not cleaned properly. Most everything is sticky to the touch. Only good thing was breakfast and breakfast staff.

Very good, I would come back.

Our family room was a little tired, but very practical for us a family of 3 adults and a teenager. It was clean. The food was excellent and the staff were fabulous.

The family room was a bit tired and frayed around the edges.

Location was ideal for us. The breakfast was nice! Staff were friendly.

Found nail cuttings in the bathroom, there was no hot water in the taps or shower, biscuits given with Tea facilities were out of date.

Get a new cleaner and inspect their work

The staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and courteous

It was clean ‘on the surface’. The bedding was clean so no issue there. The shower curtain and towel rail were worn and filthy. The low and high level cleaning was non existent. Fix the extractor fan…….please! I pulled the side table out to recover a piece of fallen jewellery. Oh my god! It was filthy with dust 1/2” thick. It hadn’t been vacuumed in months

An excellent atmosphere and a great breakfast.

A great atmosphere in the evening we had another night's stay in Frome. Due to work commitments The choice of breakfast was excellent. They even rang me beforehand to make sure we're had a successful trip.

overall we enjoyed our stay and as we were only there for one night it was adequate.

location was great for visiting the monthly market. We didn't have drinks or evening meal but had breakfast, the food was very good, coffee needs improvement though and service was very haphazard for breakfast.

the room could have been warmer although it was very cold out when we were there. the bathroom could do with a make over and some of the furniture could do with replacing.
