About this villa rental
This beautiful villa is located in eco-ethno village Gornja Podstrana and offers you a peaceful and quiet location with a spectacular vista of Adriatic sea and islands.
It’s most beautiful feature is endless swimming pool which offers great view. The pool is heated and equipped with counter current swimming machine so you can relax and exercise at your pleasure, or you can just enjoy yourself in the sunbathing area equipped with sun beds and umbrella. The swimming pool is 7 x 5 m with water depth 1,6m.
The villa also offers spacious terrace that runs along the length of the house and is equipped with outdoor lounge / furniture, table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the view.
The spacious living room and dining area with wide glass wall also offers a beautiful view and it is air-conditioned. Adjoining the living room is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave and coffee machine. In the back garden there is a covered barbecue.
Villa accommodates 4 guests in two charming double bedrooms (one with double bed, and another with 2 separated / twin beds) and at your request can accommodate additional 2 guests in the pullout couch. Linen and bath towels are provided. The villa also contains a bathroom with a shower and separate toilet.
The accommodation boasts free WiFi throughout the property and a satellite flat-screen TV.
Villa is situated high on the hill and location offers peace and quiet, but at the same time vicinity to all facilities, historical and cultural sites, shops, restaurants, and nightlife in Split. Nearest restaurant is within walking distance (some 200 m away). Beach is 2 km away. Grocery store/supermarket is also 2 km away, city of Split is 12 km away.
This is the perfect location for cycling tourism since the area offers several very interesting cycling trails passing near the villa.

We sadly left this beautiful villa yesterday after a weeks stay and wish it could have been longer. The villa is perched very high up the mountain in a quaint old village which has two restaurants within walking distance. The road up was indeed very windy and long but we knew this before we came and after the first time it gets easier. Everyone drives slow and safely. If you want a fantastic view with a quiet villa this is for you - it was so relaxing. The villa is equipped with everything you need and was very clean with lots of spare towels and sheets. The pool and outside area was fantastic, not overlooked at all and a great mountain back drop. We loved watching the many birds we saw and birds of prey over the mountains and listening to the owls at night. Petra the host was very friendly and met us at the villa and showed us around and was available all our holiday for any suggestions of restaurants and parking. We went to Split a couple of times and Omis for dinner and walked to the local restaurants quite a few times (need to call in and book or what’s app them the day before!)
Would certainly recommend this villa but probably not for families with very tiny children as the steps inside the villa and outside to pool. Thank you Petra for a lovely relaxing stay.

The villa is in a small village in the hills above Podstrana, and has amazing views across to the islands and over Split. The road up from the main road takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have, it's well worth it to enjoy the peace and quiet while at the same time being pretty close to Split. The garden and pool are really nice, and the villa itself is just what we wanted.
1 observation about the local restaurants - we needed to book a few days in advance as they are very busy.
So, thanks Petra for a fantastic holiday, and we hope to return.

Excellent location and cozy villa. Nice views and adventures on the one-car road up and down the hill. Petra greeted us upon our arrival, gave us a tour of the place, recommended places to eat and visit, and gave us wine to drink. She was available all the time and responsive to our requests. A good example is a washing machine. It broke, and she made a replacement possible for the next day. We would definitely come back!

What a view. It makes the windy road up the hill worthwhile. A car is vital. The Villa is the perfect place to relax and explore this part of Croatia. Our host was really helpful with tips and ideas of things to do and places to go.

Unbeschwerte, erholsame Tage in herrlicher Umgebung ❣️
Wir wurden herzlich von Petra empfangen und in alles Notwendige eingewiesen. ☺️ Das Haus ist wunderschön, eingerahmt vom Wein mit reifen Trauben und anderen Gewächsen des Südens, Granatapfel, Feigen, Oliven usw.
Im sauberen Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht für eine Selbstversorgung.
Trotzdem empfehlen wir unbedingt den Besuch der Konoba Carevi Dvori, zehn Minuten oberhalb des Hauses. Wir waren dreimal dort und jedesmal begeistert. 😍
Es gibt einen großen Infinity-Pool mit Blick auf's Meer. Die Liegen sind stabil und ein großer Schirm spendet Schatten.
Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf Split. Wir empfehlen ein Fernglas, es lohnt sich. Die Sonne geht über Split unter, es ist wirklich unbeschreiblich schön, dabei zuzusehen. Wir haben unzählige Bilder gemacht. ☀️
Wir haben täglich die Ruhe und den genialen Blick genossen.

I want to go back
Really nice place, the pool and the view is fantastic. The house is located above podstrana, ca. 10min away (by car) from the beaches. We enjoyed the silence a lot. Petra is also super nice, so all in all a perfect holiday. Thanks again

Wonderfull view with swimming pool
A great surprise with a wonderful view on the sea and Split. The swimming pool is perfect. It is better than the photo and description ! Small road to access on the top of the mountain but it gives this peacefull and nico house with beautifull view. Petra gave us all the information needed. Everything needed is available in the house. Perfekter Urlaub
Die Villa Blue ist perfekt für den Familien-Urlaub. Die Ausstattung bietet alles, was man benötigt, das Haus ist geräumig, der Garten schön angelegt. Trotz der sehr ruhigen Lage sind zwei Konobas in Fußnähe (eine okay, die andere super). Die Vermieterin ist extrem zuvorkommend und freundlich, anwortet auf Rückfragen meist innerhalb weniger Minuten.
Aufgrund der Corona-Situation mussten wir zwei Tage früher abreisen, um die Bedinungen zuhause erfüllen zu können. Obwohl kein Anspruch hat sie uns die beiden Übernachtungen rückerstattet, ohne dass wir etwas gesagt hätten.
Wir können das Objekt nur empfehlen und überlegen, ob wir wieder kommen.

Wunderschöne Villa mit traumhaftem Ausblick und sehr ruhig gelegen.
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa Blue. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft und für jeden der gerne morgens in den Pool springt einfach nur sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr ruhige Lage um hervorragend entspannen zu können. Die Besitzer sind überaus freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit in allen Anliegen. Hier passt einfach alles rundum. :)

Utterly fabulous
This property was in a wonderful position if peace and quiet is what you’re after. The views across the ocean were spectacular. It’s nestled up a long windy road, with a back drop of the mountains. The villa was great, the sunsets from the veranda were out of this world. The only problem was our holiday was too short! Would definitely recommend a visit to Podstrana and a stay in this fabulous villa!

The pictures online were very accurate. The host was extremely helpful who spoke great English, she emailed us maps, links to restaurants, a short guide to the local area and advised us on Staying in Croatia very well. The villa was very clean and had great facilities (Fully wood stocked BBQ, dishwasher, Air Con, Washing Machine). The Infinity Pool at the villa was lovely, bigger than it seems, works really well. The sun loungers were very comfortable and excellent high quality! The villa had a good sized driveway with a large sliding gate to close the car in, making us feel secure and safe. The location of the villa is very close to Split, the large city. However you do have to drive up a very tight and windy road to reach the villa, which is nearly at the top of a mountain! Once you drive up and down it each day, it becomes easy work. However the reason for this mountain drive to reach the villa; is the view...
The view from this villa is fantastic, gorgeous and doesn't get old. After a full day of adventure in Croatia, we could get back to the Villa, open some beers and lie on the terrace by the pool on the awesome sun loungers and watch the bright red sunset over the archipelago! That doesn't get old! In my opinion, we got a great deal for what we paid. We would definitely stay there again. Cheers!!

Villa très agréable au calme avec vue magnifique sur la mer accès un peu compliqué car route de montagne mais c'est le prix à payer pour y être très bien. Très bon accueil, Podstrana est un village très agréable.

Achtung Wiederholungsgefahr:)
Auf der Anfahrt dachten wir, wo sind wir hier hingeraten. Die Strasse, oder besser der Weg, schlängelte sich schier endlos den Berg hinauf. Am Objekt angekommen, wurden wir mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht über Split, Podstrana und die Adriaküste empfangen. Die freundliche Vermieterin wartete bereits schon auf uns. Die Übergabe des Objektes ging zügig über die Bühne, so das wir schnell ein erfrischendes Bad im Pool nehmen konnten. Der Garten und das Objekt machen einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Auf Probleme mit dem Pool hat das Vermieterpaar sehr schnell und professionell reagiert. Es war sicher nicht der letzte Urlaub in diesem Haus.

Toller Urlaub
Der Urlaub hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind noch viel besser, als es die Bilder im Inserat erwarten lassen. Der Standort der Villa ist Ruhe pur, ohne völlig ab vom Schuss zu sein. Der Pool ist wunderschön und war in Dauerbenutzung durch unsere Kinder. Die beiden tollen Restaurants sind fussläufig zu erreichen und bieten hervorragende kroatische Küche und Gemütlichkeit. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war super.
Wir würden gerne nächstes Jahr wiederkommen.

Der Natur sehr nahe!
Das Haus ist der perfekte Ort um sich zu erholen. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden wie im Inserat abgebildet und beschrieben. Petra ist eine sehr freundliche Vermieterin. Mein Mann uns ich haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa Blue sehr genossen!

Die Bilder lügen nicht!
Das Haus ist wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Sehr sauber, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und alles was man braucht ist auch vorhanden. Petra und ihr Mann sind tolle Vermieter und auch immer zu erreichen, egal ob bei Fragen zur Umgebung oder kleineren Problemen im Haus (welche auch schnellstmöglich gelöst werden). Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit allem nötigen, sogar ein Zerkleinerer und ein Rührgerät sind vorhanden. Jede Menge Handtücher und sogar Wasch- und Spülmittel, Geschirrtücher etc.. Auch Familienspiele (Uno, Badminton etc.) sind vorhanden
Das Haus liegt am Berg ca. 300m über dem Meer, dies führt zu einer einzigartigen Rundumsicht über das Meer bis nach Split. Wir haben die Ruhe am eigenen Pool sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder einmal.

prachtige complete vakantiewoning met super uitzicht, op een rustig plekje in Podstrana
De woning heeft alles om een verblijf in de zomer aangenaam te maken. Wij hebben elke dag in het zwembad gezwommen. Het terras aan de woning is ruim en er kan gebarbecued worden. Het huis heeft een airco wat met de hitte ook wel nodig was. Er is een wasmachine en afwasmachine aanwezig. De slaapbank moet gebruikt worden als je met meer dan 4 personen bent, en dat was dan ook het enige minpuntje: de woonkamer kan niet met verduisterende gordijnen worden afgesloten dus uitslapen is lastig.
Omdat het huis wat afgelegen ligt is het wel noodzakelijk een auto te huren.
In de omgeving is er van alles te doen. Op loopafstand zijn er 2 leuke restaurants en je kunt ook een mooie wandeling maken omhoog de berg op.
Verder weg zijn er natuurlijk de mooie stad Split en het plaatsje Trogir wat zeker de moeite waard is om te bezoeken. Langs de hele kust is er kiezelstrand dus waterschoenen zijn wel aan te bevelen. Behalve zwemmen in de zee zijn er genoeg andere activiteiten. In het huisje liggen veel info folders.
We hebben genoten.

Een plek om helemaal tot rust te komen. Rustige omgeving hoog boven de toeristische stranden. Schitterend vergezichten

Huis tuin en zwembad helemaal compleet niks aan op te merken.
