About this cottage rental

Our cottage is located near the beach (2 miles), 10 minutes from Island View Casino, and an hour from New Orleans. There are a variety of amenities (pool, indoor & outdoor kitchen, gazebo with fireplace, and DirectTV. The space is good for couples, solo adventurers, families, and military. It is also awesome for snowbirds seeking a peaceful and warm refuge from Northern winters.

There is a queen-sized bed in the house and air mattresses for additional guests that are booked.

The cottage is designed around an open space concept- all in one room with separate bathroom. You have a full cooking/dining area, TV nook, and queen bed. Of course, the bathroom is separate and has a door. Outside, our guests have access to the outdoor kitchen/bbq, Gazebo (with fireplace), Pergola, and pool.

Me, my wife and two children stayed here and absolutely loved it. Beautiful, peaceful setting, very close to restaurants and beaches. We took the Ship Island ferry one day, did the Mississippi aquarium one day, drove to New Orleans for an afternoon and we swam in the pool every night. Perfect amount of amenities and kitchen appliances, we will definitely plan to return. Hosts were not around, during our stay but we didn’t need to contact them for any issues. This place exceeded our expectations. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your backyard oasis!!

We stayed here for my daughters' dance competition. This place was perfect. Very quite and clean. The owners kindly gave us some fresh chicken eggs that my daughter loved. We definitely would book this place again.

Everything about this stay was beyond expectations. Our hosts were so very gracious, accommodating and responsive that we couldn’t give a high enough rating. And their dog, Vasco was such a joy when he would greet us in the morning. If you’re looking for a perfect place for 2, you will find this to be THE romantic hideaway.

My wife and I stayed at this property for a weekend away. The accommodations were very nice and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The pool was very nice and clean. Great communication with the owner before and during our stay. The location is easy to find and very quiet! A short drive to many good local restaurants. Met the property owners during our stay and they were very nice and hospitable. Highly recommend this property.

The bed was not a true queen. The air conditioner made noises the entire time. There was spider webs in the shower. Dead spider in the floor of shower. No railing going to get into the pool. Very small.

We came for a beach party for memorial weekend and found this little gem of a place to stay. Vasco was there to welcome us. It is as described. The grounds well kept and beautiful. Loved the privacy. We enjoyed grilling steaks on the pit. The pool was very much a plus. If you’re a wine drinker as I am, bring your wine glasses. That’s the only thing that was lacking. Communication with the owner was immediate, answering any questions you may have. We would love to come back again if they will have us. Thank you Zeke and Vasco.

Beautiful, peaceful home. Owners were very friendly and the pool was a plus! Vasco, their Portuguese Water Dog was a very friendly addition who greeted us upon arrival. We had a fantastic stay and we will return .

I stayed here for vacation to visit my grandchildren. The cottage was clean and the grounds were wonderful. The kids and I enjoyed the swimming pool. The hosts are very kind people and always willing to help. Great stay!

Zeke the owner was so welcoming & the beautiful property was excellent. I grilled steaks on the outside kitchen/grill, chilled out under the outdoor patio while enjoying a fire in the fireplace. The lodging was clean, comfortable & had everything you’d need to soak up a little down time. The local community is a great escape from the hustle of the more popular beach towns in the area. I highly recommend staying here for a great escape & to recharge your batteries!

This place was great! Perfect for our little family getaway. Gracious host and Vasco is really sweet. Not far from the beach. Stocked with essentials and some extra things like board games and books. Very clean. Pool was beautiful.

My sister and I had a great stay! The property is gorgeous and very relaxing. We enjoyed using the outdoor grill to make dinners and made a fire in the outdoor fireplace one evening. Zeke was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. And it’s just a quick drive to the beach!

We had a nice experience at this gorgeous location. The owners checked in to make sure we had all we needed. The recent bathroom updates are beautiful. We enjoyed use of the outdoor kitchen and fireplace. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking.

My husband and I had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back. It was so quite and peaceful, the property was beautiful, the pool was awesome, and the host was super nice. He even brought us fresh eggs! One of our favorite parts of the whole trip was getting to meet their adorable dog, Vasco. We were missing our fur babies so we really enjoyed getting visits from sweet Vasco. If you’re looking for a great place to stay, this is the one!

Such a beautiful and serene place. This was an answer to much needed break and holiday from the hustle and bustle of work. Everything you needed was easily available and I was so excited the hospitality as we had to arrive late and Zeke made sure the lights were on. Long Beach is a beautiful place and we even got to spend time on the beach and come back to enjoy the pool again. I cannot wait to return.
