struttura particolare è veramente bella, posizione centrale, colazione molto buona, bagno bellissimo e pulito.

Great location..extremely friendly and welcoming staff who took great pride in the hotel and rightly so. The best hotel bar on our tour so far. We will definitely stop there again!

Beautiful historic building restored to modern comfort.

a very spacious room in an old beautifully restored building right in the heart of the city, yet quiet. friendly reception, and a good restaurant too, the breakfast exceptional.
Perhaps the only drawback are the steep stairs, the elevator doesn't go all the way.

Breakfast and dinner food and service were very good. Staff was consistently friendly and helpful
The first room we had was disappointing for 2 reasons:
1. The room had a balcony patio area with table connected to our bedroom. At first we thought this sitting area was outside with the possibility of fresh air and sunshine but it turned out to be within the hotel over looking the ceiling, walls and what was below.
2. The first night there was a tremendous thundrstorm which resulted in very large bangs on the roof and walls. Basically no sleep the first night so we asked for a change of rooms. The 2nd night in the new room was ok and we slept through. The 3rd night there was a storm with lots of wind that blew open the windows. We tried to latch them shut but sadly they were old and the latches in particular were not aligned properly anymore to be able to hold the windows shut. When there were wind gusts (regularly), the windows blew open. We basically didn't sleep at all that night.
So 2 nights out of 3 we didn't sleep really at all. Although the interior decoration of the hotel is eye catching and unique, by the 2nd day it appears shabby and in need of repair and refurbishment.

The hotel has really retained its charm, it has so many original features and oozes history! Our room consisted of two bedrooms and the bathroom which worked so well with our toddler. We were able to eat dinner in our room without disturbing him which was fab!
This particular room is on the street and was very noisy with an early street cleaner on Saturday and loud pedestrians into the early hours.

Very clean and high quality room, friendly staff and great breakfest. Location is great. Would go there again.
Strangly enough, not all windows have curtains so the sun will wake-up you up. I think this is pretty strange given the price-tag of the room. We asked about it but got a short "no, that window has no curtain" in return.

Friendly reception and checkin, wonderful room, spacious bathroom, great breakfast and lunch and seamless checkout process. The hotel has a very different architecture, modelled around a former inner courtyard and each room has a separate design!
Aircon was a bit loud and while breakfast was really fantastic, in this price category, I would expect more than paper napkins. But else, little negative to say!

Everything was perfect; from the airconditiong to the amazing bathroom facilities to the incredibly comfortable bed. Boris, who welcomed us was lovely. The breakfact was excellent. The Architect did a fabulous job on this shabby chique renovation. Not recommended for persons with limited mobility.

comfortable rooms and amazing breakfast and very kind staff
our room was a bit dark due to the window pointing toward the inner courtyard but that wasn’t a real issue because we spend most of our day outside

the location was excellent, right in the middle of the main shopping area. the entire residence was charming, a 15th century building renovated with modern conveniences. the bed and linens were excellent. the breakfast was also very good.
1) I got stuck in the elevator between floors with my two dogs for 40 minutes at 6 p.m. There was NO ONE in the building or on premises to assist me. I rang the alarm bell but no one answered, not even other guests. NO instructions inside the elevator car on what to do in case of emergency. Fortunately I had my cell phone, called the reception desk number but no one answered, couldn't even leave a message. A few minutes later the desk clerk called me back from his home in Bolzano, 30 minutes away. He called a custodian who arrived 20 minutes later but he couldn't find the emergency key to get me out. He eventually found it and got us out. I was outraged. No apology. No effort to make it up to us in any way. No acknowledgement that this is a very dangerous situation. If I had not had my cell phone, I'd have spent the entire night with my dogs freezing in a 2'x 2' dark elevator because the lights were on timers. That NO ONE is on premises or reachable in an emergency from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. is unacceptable. That there is no emergency telephone inside the elevator is a hazard and quite probably illegal. But worst of all was that management did not acknowledge the problem or try to make it right in any way. Totally unacceptable.
2) The restaurant is closed. One reason we chose this place was the rave description of the fabulous dining. Yet, upon arrival we were told the restaurant was closed. They could have told us in the confirmation email but they didn't. Booking should update its description accordingly.

We loved the design and location of the hotel. The design ( authentic vs modern ) was fantastic. Comfy beds, super clean room and bathroom. We had to leave very early on our last day and instead of breakfast the hotel offered to make a lunch package for us. We found this very thoughtful.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the center of town, although for the parking (not free! but at reduced rates) you need to walk a few minutes. The concept is rather special and basic/minimalistic. The room was very big, even unnecessarily big, and seemed a bit empty and not cozy. Everything seemed very basic so the price/quality is not good in my opinion. Toiletries were a joke. Staff was friendly though and breakfast correct and nice.
