About this house rental
A unique house in the Conservation area of Pimlico, close to Buckingham Palace, the West End and Battersea Park, with easy access to the museums of Knightsbridge.
At the heart of the house is a handmade kitchen with original features such as exposed brick fireplace and sash window, equipped with a range of modern appliances, including a dishwasher. There is a double reception room, ideal for both relaxation and entertaining, equipped with Philippe Stark furnishings and a sofa bed. For those wishing to entertain, porcelain, silver and Irish and Venetian crystal are provided.
Guest accommodation comprises two smart double bedrooms, each with access to a charming patio terrace and use of a bathroom and shower room respectively. Additionally, there is a studio on the top floor with a luxurious sofa-bed, shower room and balcony. The studio has a range of board games, a TV/DVD player and a Wii console. It is important to note that all bedrooms are accessible by stairs so the property may not be suitable for the frail.
There is both a cafe and delicatessen within ten metres of the house. On the adjacent street, there is a full range of amenities, small but well stocked supermarket, dry cleaners, launderette, Indian restaurant and colourful Tapas bar. There is a fantastic variety of shops, bars and restaurants near Victoria Station. The River Thames is five minutes away on foot giving access to Battersea Park, ideal for running or playing tennis.
Victoria train, coach and bus stations are all within ten minutes' walk and Pimlico tube station is on the adjacent street. There are three local bus services, giving access to all of Chelsea, South Kensington, Westminster, the West End, Oxford St and South London in minutes.
For longer term guests, cleaning, catering and laundry pick-up/drop-off services can be arranged.

Great stay and great communication with the host. Not far from public transportation and neighborhood is quiet.

Perfect place, perfect host. Great location! Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Perfect location 10 min walk from underground. Lovely quiet neighborhood and well stocked with essentials. Host Sarah was super responsive and helpful. Awesome Italian market a stones throw away along with a Tesco Express grocery store for anything you need to pick up. Was a great stay.

Perfect spot for our short stay in London, easy walking distance to bistro's, coffee shops and restaurants.
This 3 floor residence is very well appointed, the quality bedding and provided refreshments were much appreciated. Lots of room to relax and a lovely kitchen diner to socialize at the start and end of day.
This accommodation delivered as promised!

Lovely house in a really quiet neighbourhood, very close to bus stop and underground station. Highly recommended!

My family of four (two teens) stayed for four nights. We really enjoyed our stay and felt at home. Nice living room area to unwind after a day out. Comfortable sleeping spaces (two of which are lower level with one having a bit of a damp smell) with nice clean linens. Host was quick with responses and great at communication in general. Location is great. Easy walk to coffee shops, pubs and a Tesco as well. Would book again.

The place was amazing. The host was extremely helpful giving us super valuable advice for getting around London. Tube and bus stops were super close to the house. Could not recommend highly enough.

I can’t say enough about this house. Such a great location. Walkable to most major London attractions and close to the Underground. Sarah, the host, was so accommodating and helpful! We were a family of five with three teenagers. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space, which was much needed after spending seven days together.

We had super nice contact with Ssarah, our landlady. If we had any questions, she responded immediately by email.
The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you need. We were even greeted with milk and a bottle of sparkling wine. Many thanks for that!
The downstairs two bedrooms one 1 bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (toilet and shower) and a second bedroom (a slightly smaller double bed) and another bathroom with toilet and bathtub. on the ground floor a nice cozy living room with plenty of seating and a table with 6 chairs, then a toilet and the fully equipped kitchen with table and chairs.
Up the spiral staircase to a nice room with another bathroom with toilet and shower!
It was a little cold in the apartment (despite the heating), but there were fan heaters everywhere in the rooms - everything was perfect!!!
The location is perfect - the Pimlico train station is less than 10 minutes walk away, from there it was easy to get everywhere. The bus was also a 2 minute walk away.
We would book Sarah's apartment again anytime. THANK YOU for the wonderful time!

Great property in quiet and very walkable location to tube and restaurants. Very nice to have beds for all of us, washer/dryer, and kitchen for some cozy mornings. Host was great to communicate with and made the stay very easy.

Charming 3 story flat with all of the amenities needed for a family trip based in Pimlico. Access to several small local grocery stores only minutes away by foot and a coffee shop right around the corner. Bus, train and tube station all within easy walking distance - we preferred to walk to most sites given really cooperative weather. Sarah was a superb host assisting with questions along the way when planning this Christmastime trip. We couldn’t have had a better experience! Thanks again Sarah!

Great location close to public transport. The property is ideal for a group in need of separate sleeping spaces. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay here when visiting London in the future.

Thanks to Covid, this was our 3rd attempt at a week in London with our daughter, husband and her 2 teens. It was a glorious time and this home was an outstanding base of operation. The location near two bus lines and the Pimlico tube stop made it quite accessible. Sarah was a responsive and very engaging host for a property that was well equipped and comfortable.

This was the perfect place to stay for our first visit to London. Sarah was very accommodating letting us put our luggage there early on our arrival day. She also gave us a great tip for “Car for hire” to get us to the airport at the end of our stay.
The place was very comfortable and plenty of space for us 3 adults needing our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable for getting much needed sleep after seeing a busy London. The kitchen was clean, well stocked with pots, pan, dishes and the basics of seasonings and more…The Garden House is only a block from the Tesco Express, coffee shops, and a great Italian deli. You can walk 30 minutes to see everything in Westminster or take a close by bus, tube or a £7-8 Uber. We would definitely stay again next time we visit!

We are a family of 5; two adults, two teenagers and a senior. The accommodation worked out very well for us. Sarah communicated with us in advance, helped with transportation from the airport and was helpful throughout our time in London. I would highly recommend.

This house was perfect for four adults and four children! It is very central to many major attractions and on a quite street. We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed the easy location close to bus and train transport which could take us anywhere quickly. The property was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we could need. Our host was fabulous with quick responses and plenty of suggestions and information to suit our family group. Great place to stay.

This is a great location. We had not stayed in Pimlico area before but found it to be very easy to get around London from the local tube station and (our favorite) the #24 bus which brings you into the heart of London. We booked our stay with then intent to only have my husband, myself and two adult children. In the end, we ended up having six adult children/spouses for a total of eight in the apartment. Sarah was wonderful in comfortably accommodating the large group in her place. We were all happy with the arrangements and enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend the location and look forward to staying again.

We stayed 2 nights here and found the apartment very comfortable. The neighborhood was great - especially the local fish and chips spot. We were close to an Underground stop and could also walk to London sights. Sarah was very accommodating and we appreciated her quick responses. Definitely recommend a stay here.

This is a great house to stay in while in London. My family of 4 (including 2 teens) spent 5 nights here and enjoyed ourselves. It’s huge (for London - or any city!) and the beds were very comfortable. Took about 10 minutes to get to the Pimlico tube station but there are buses close by as well. We also enjoyed the pubs that are about 5 min away. Our only minor complaint was the primary shower but Sarah told us it is being replaced very soon. Sarah was a wonderful host and even got us some snacks to enjoy since we arrived so late when most things were closed. We hope to return again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and welcoming from the moment we arrived. There was plenty of space for all of us (my husband and myself along with our 2 adult children) and we didn't feel crowded at all. There was a small issue with the hot water, but a quick call to Sarah and it was taken care of quickly. I was very appreciative of that and her quick response and urgency to get it resolved for us so that our stay was not uncomfortable. The place was far enough from the city that allowed us a feel of normal London living, but close enough to the underground for all our trips into the city. The bath tub was a very welcome luxury as I was able to soak and relax in it after a day filled with 15 miles of walking! There is a little grocery store really close that is open late, which helped when we didn't get back until after 10pm. I would definitely recommend this place! Thank you Sarah for making our first trip to London special!

A famous house. A very good address.
We are French and we went to London for the corronation of King Charles III.
The house is very well located and very beautiful.
There were five of us and we were comfortable.
Everything is very functional and good quality.

This flat is so cute and the area is quite nice. It’s quiet, walking distance to many great restaurants and easy to get to! We can’t wait to come back and stay!

Bedrooms and bathrooms perfect for 2 mummies, 1 nanny, 3 girls 3, 8 and 10. All beds Incl sofa beds very comfy. Kitchen well equipped. After unloading campervan, in space held by sarah for us, we used car park in eccleston square, opposite premier inn, 5 mins walk through park.. from 14.00 to 0830 was £24. Croissants for brekkie from cafe 2 mins round corner. Pimlico Thai takeaway was good.

We loved this charming property! For 3 ladies who hadn't seen each other in 10 years due to living in different countries, it was perfect! Each one of us had a separate bedroom and more importantly a separate bathroom! Truly a luxury in London! Sarah was a fantastic host, and has equipped the property well - there are even champagne glasses which is very rare. And the most fabulous and comfortable linens and beds.

We loved this flat. It is incredibly spacious and comfortable. It is appointed very well and has everything any guest would need. It is located in a great neighborhood with restaurants and pubs easily walkable. Sarah was easy to communicate with and very responsive to inquiries. She allowed us to drop our bags prior to check-in time, which was much appreciated. She also quickly shipped a left item to our next destination. We will definitely stay again when we’re in London.

The property overall was nice. The location was close to the buses and train station. The only thing about this listening I would change is it says sleeps 8 when it really sleep 6 with a cot and sofa bed. & the heat never came on we were freezing cold the entire time. The place is clean, and the host was attentive.
4.8
Host very helpful, answered all questions we raised. Smooth check in. Very convenient location. Fantastic stay, would definitely return.

Sarah is the best. Her home is lovely, well situated and I recommend it strongly for anyone coming to London.

This property was perfect for us. It is well maintained, had everything we needed and was in a terrific location. Sarah was wonderful to deal with and really cared about making our stay perfect!

Coming from the USA, this was an amazing place to stay for our family of five. The house was very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Having a washer/dryer was great which meant we didn't have to over pack. There was also a drying rack as the washer/dryer is a single unit and does not fully dry quickly. Loved the little extras (tea/milk/honey) and the kitchen was well-equipped if you'd like to cook, but we chose to explore and mostly ate out.
The location was perfect! Very close to many convenient things (restaurants, deli, grocery store, pharmacy) as well as an easy walk to attractions or transport.
We had a wonderful stay and Sarah was a great host. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location Central yet just outside of the congestion
Great place to explore London!

Great location
Nice place. Close to everything you want to see. We had some plumbing problems at first but the owner was there in less than a heartbeat to get them fixed.

Fantastic location close to public transit, grocery stores and great restaurants, clean rooms and a thoughtful hostess made for an amazing place to stay in London. Wish we could leave 10 stars!

We stayed in Sarah's house for 5 nights in June. We were there with our son's family of five and it worked wonderfully. It has three bedrooms and 3.5 baths! Sarah was very responsive to our inquiries. The kitchen is small, but fully equipped. We didn't do much cooking, but it could be done.
We really like the Pimlico area. Picadilly is a couple of miles away. We walked quite a bit. The area is very safe and clean. There a grocery store and several restaurants a block away. The tube is a short walk.
Some guests stated they ran out of hot water. The boiler is on a thermostat in the master bath downstairs. It can be set to any amount of time and you will have hot water in ten minutes.
I highly recommend this house and this area.
