If you are reading this review then you should just book this property now and save yourself looking elsewhere. We were four adults traveling from Canada and spent nine nights here. The property has stunning views from the outdoor balcony in the day and the evening. Great to watch all the activity in the harbor. The kitchen is well appointed, the bedrooms very nice and bathrooms are wonderful. Loved the powered window blinds, great for security and keeping the apartment cool during the day when you are out. Geraldine was most accommodating whenever we had an inquiry. The town of Villefranche is ideally located with easy access to anywhere via train or bus. I highly recommend this property and definitely would stay again.

This was our first trip to Villefranche . Wow what an amazing place. The view from Camille's property was spectacular. The location was ideal to walk to the beach and to visit the excellent restaurants in the town. The flat was ideal for 4-6 people, kitchen was well outfitted and the air conditioning was much needed the week we were there...36+C everyday.
Parking was difficult!
Thank you for the great experience!

We stayed at this lovely home, with spectacular views, for a girls getaway - four adult women. Happy hour on the terrace each night was wonderful. The accommodations were clean, homey and comfortable. There are three levels with the double beds being on the very bottom of the home. Many steps throughout. The only negative was we could not get the shower to work on the middle floor bathroom. Took several emails and a call to the property manager to respond. Finally, when she did, she couldn't arrive prior to our departing for the day's venture - we didn't have a shower for that bath for the stay. The home book they left for us was in French, and unfortunately we only spoke English so it wasn't of much help. Note, there is a washing machine but no dryer so you will hang your clothes out to dry which is done in many places there. Pack accordingly if you prefer not to do that. We had a wonderful stay and would go back again. The location does not disappoint, the views over the top and we had a wonderful stay.

Fantastic house
The house is really nice. The view and the location are amazing. Year after year, we rent again this house. I would like to thank the owners for maintaining it at the high standards (recent paint...).
Nothing is missing if we want to cook or enjoy the terrace.
We started to rent this house in 2014 and we continue in 2017 about twice a year.
Our kids were 4 and 7 at that time. We had to be careful with the stairs leading to the level -1 and -2. The stairs are steep. But we never had any issue. We just had to be careful.
The street is calm. There is no noise and no traffic.
This house is not for disable people or people having difficulties to walk due to the stairs (or they have to stay on the main floor), which is also possible considering the nice view.
We usually rent in October, December and April and we always manage to park the car near the house. In summer, it must be difficult to park the car near the house considering the number of tourists.
Last but not least, I would like to thank Geraldine, the manager. She is always willing to help and we can always ask her for the new restaurants and the things to do in Villefranche...

This amazing house is perfect for a relaxing holiday in Villefranche. It is well appointed, clean and in a perfect location. The best thing is the view from the terrace which changes daily as you see all the movements in the small harbour. Although there are steps down to the harbour, restaurants and shops this will probably be the case wherever you stay in this lovely town. There are excellent restaurants close by, our favourites were La Mare Germain and Garcons. The supermarkets are close by and we suggest using the larger one just up the hill as it is then downhill on the way back with the shopping!
The layout of the house means that there is one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, with two bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms downstairs. This looked daunting at first but after the stairs were negotiated a couple of times this was not a problem.
Local transport is close by with reliable trains and buses taking you to other locations on the coast but with such a lovely view from the terrace it is hard to want to go anywhere else. We did walk into Beaulieu Sur Mer which is charming and an easy walk along the beach.
We were four ladies who were there primarily to see the Monaco Grand Prix, alas the only day it rained in the 12 days we were there was on race day!
A big thank you to Geraldine, the managing agent who met us on arrive and again on departure. The booking was easy and response was always quick.
We look forward to returning in 2017!

Wonderful Location, Poorly Managed
Our group of four adults enjoyed the beautiful home. It is clean and refreshing. The views are amazing. The location is nice. There is no off-street parking, and there is a lot of activity on the street, so be prepared to walk several blocks up hill to the paid parking deck.
We were disappointed at the lack of responsiveness from the property manager. Before leaving home, while trying to send our deposits and payments, we never received a prompt response. All e-mail messages had to be sent several times and usually phone messages were obliged to follow in order to answer the most simple questions. Because of our flight schedule, we needed to leave the property early. We made arrangements with the property manager upon check in to meet and check out at a certain time. When she didn't show up, and did not answer her cell phone, we were forced to call the Real Estate company and they were able to contact her and she arrived. These are not earth-shattering issues, but they were inconvenient.
The house itself, is beautiful. Steep stairs, so I wouldn't recommend for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs.

I’ve been lucky enough to visit this lovely house twice now – coming from Bristol (UK) it’s a very easy journey with a direct flight to Nice making it a very viable option for even just a weekend away. The house has been beautifully refurbished and is very comfortable even for a large group – each of my visits has been as part of a group of 6 or 7 adults. It also has a fantastic terrace that overlooks the bay and catches the sun throughout the day – great for lazing on if you can’t quite make it down to the beach, and for al fresco dining.
The town itself is a picturesque maze of old cobbled streets leading down to the waterfront, with lots of good quality restaurants if you want to eat out. If you want a bit more variety then Nice is just a short bus ride away, and is well worth a visit in its own right. Otherwise there are plenty of local shops (including a delicious boulangerie) near to the house where you can buy pretty much anything you might need, so it really is ideally situated.
All-in-all a fabulous place to stay in the area – I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The house was easy to find and public transport from the airport was simple with wonderful views of the coast from the bus.I would recommend the house with its unusual upside down layout that maximises the roof terrace with its stunning views over the bay. Well equipped kitchen and good bakers and grocer stores a short walk away. The town is really lovely to explore with characterful cobbled streets and plenty of small shops and restaurants to choose from. The beach is a short walk away and perfect for swimming and paddling. We would love to return as there are so many places locally to visit that we didn't manage due to enjoy ourselves, relaxing on the terrace.

We were having vacation on the villa in August 2014. We had 2 families, 8 people in total. Despite the fact that there are only 3 bedrooms, all of us were able to stay comfortably, thanks to two additional mattresses. The villa has been recently renovated, new furniture, all the beds are very comfortable, interesting layout on several levels. The kitchen has everything you may need. The terrace offers stunning views of the bay, the mountains and the rooftops of the city!In the morning during the ringing of bells, we watched the sunrise and coming ships, had coffee with fresh croissants. And in the evening we were admiring the starry sky and drinking wine with cheese. It was very romantic: relaxing on the large terrace! Location of the villa is very convenient. Nearby there is everything you need: shops, grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, bus stop, train station. There is no need to rent a car to go to any city. It is better to get a bus or train. Clean beach a 10 minute walk down the stairs and through the beautiful streets of the old city. Because of the many stairs way to the sea turns into a fun fitness. Geraldine (rent agent of the villa) - very friendly young woman, Who was always ready to help us. Many thanks to her for everything! We spent an unforgettable two weeks in the beautiful town of Villefranche-sur-Mer! We will definitely stay at the villa ever again. We highly recommend this villa for a perfect holiday for all of you!
