Es war wie nach Hause kommen, man fühlt sich schon in der ersten Minute sehr heimisch und willkommen

Es war wie nach Hause kommen, man fühlt sich schon in der ersten Minute sehr heimisch und willkommen ! :-) Sowohl die Räumlichkeiten, als auch die liebe und zuvorkommende Art von Lucilla machen diese Unterkunft ganz besonders schön und einmalig ! :-) Und die zentrale Lage ist als allein Reisende ebenfalls mega gut. Ich freue mich schon sehr auf das nächste Mal und komme auf natürlich wieder ! :-)

Heerlijke plek, ruime mooi en schone kamer en badkamer midden in het centrum. Eigenaresse geeft veel informatie.

Great stay, very well located B&B, and the nicest management

Great experience, room was great (bed, toilet, size, balcony) but most importantly they made us feel at home. Thank you so much for the little pastries and prosecco as a gift for our honeymoon, also for all the great restaurants and sightseeing recommendations. Overall great value for money and perfectly located in the center of Catania to go walking anywhere

Super nice and clean. Comfy location close to the bus station (we only stayed for one night). The shower was AMAZING!

The towels were clearly air dried and this a bit rough.

Lovely, lovely B&B, very well situated (if you want to be close to Duomo and close to public transport, train and bus), very beautiful and spacious rooms,extremely kind owner which help us with everything. I'm sure I'll be back!

Don't judge for the outside old door, everything at the B&B is completely renovated so, NO-THI-NG-AT-ALL to complaint about it.

Lovely city break

We had a nice, spotlessly clean room, with comfy bed and large shower. Nice toiletries are provided and all the towels you can possibly need. The B&B is in a nice, old building, full of character, so you really feel like experiencing local life in Italy. The little balcony has a breathtaking view of Etna. Location is ideal, within walking distance to everything: bus terminal, city center, authentic local cafes, even the meeting point (for guided tours on the vulcano) is just in front of it. Our host, Lucille, is so kind and helpful, she made our stay one of the best experiences. PS:The fruits were out of this world. Best Sicilian red oranges/ juice ever ! Thank you so much 😊

It felt like home!

There is a general cure for details and wellbeing; The facilities and the design are great; My room had a balcony which give a fantastic view towards Etna; The owner is super friendly and welcoming and i can tell you i felt like home; I would definitely come back!

Great address in Catania.

Great location, a few minutes walk from station and ten minutes from historic city centre. Kind and informative host, Lucilla, looked after us very well and had great suggestions for restaurants, cafes etc. Highly recommended.

Relaxing haven in a busy city

This is an excellent place to stay. It’s handy for the railway station and the airport bus, it’s located in an old palazzo building behind a front door worthy of a cathedral, and it’s superbly comfortable. My room was spacious and elegant; the bed was just right and the shower was really good. Lucilla the host is very welcoming and helpful. And there’s a lift to save carrying luggage up stairs. I even had a view of Etna in the distance from the balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Oriental Palace. Lucilla was an extremely nice host, who is a lovely person and had great recommendations for us. The room was big, modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we could see the Atna from our window. Located close to the port of Catania, you can walk into the city center within 10-15 minutes. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

very nice host with a super nice appartment in a zone middle way between the center and the train station.

clean space, super nice host, good quality furniture and decor, nice common space with water, tea, coffee and biscuits.

i was aware when ive booked, but the zone its not that nice; anyway, we disnt had any problems of security or other whatsoever.

ABSOLUTE GEM IN CATANIA - DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! :)

This B&B is an absolute gem in Catania. It is so conveniently located as it is close to the central bus and train stations (if travelling from another city, as we did) but also ~100m walk to the bus stop for the Alibus direct to the airport (10-15 mins). The host, Lucilla, is such a darling. She was excellent with communication prior to our stay and also so welcoming. She even had our room available for check-in a little earlier. The room and general B&B areas are BEAUTIFUL! It has clearly all been recently renovated and the decor is great. Our room was massive, the bed was SO comfortable, the rain shower head was fantastic and we also had a balcony so that we could glimpse at Mt Etna in the distance. Our breakfast was also fantastic (so much choice and GF options) and we were able to leave our luggage after check-out to explore the city some more before our flight back home. Our only regret is not staying longer! When we visit Catania again we will definitely be staying here. :) Grazie mille!

Great spot!

This is a great spot! very unassuming from the outside (it's a bit of a sketchy area, not going to lie) but once you're inside the building and out of the elevator....it's beautiful, we were very surprised! The host is lovely, we were staying there just before catching our flight in the morning and we were going to miss the breakfast that we paid for, so she made us sandwiches and packed things in the fridge for us, it was very sweet! It's not a manned reception, so you do need to text if you need something but they're very responsive and there were no issues. Beds were amazing, shower was great and the room was beautiful and very big and spacious. There's was a little balcony that you can look over the city and you can see Etna from it as well. It was a great little spot.

Five star B&B

This B&B feels like a five star hotel. The whole interior is top class. The host does her very best to please. Spacious room. Spacious shower. The B&B is situated in an old building with courtyard. You need to through two doors before you reach an elevator which could easily be part of a film scene. Manually open and close two doors to get access and get it to work. The B&B is around 10 minutes walking from the station, and around 10-15 minutes from the center square although bars and restaurants can be found closer to the B&B.

Air-conditioning doesn't have the right capacity. Even at full capacity the room stays quite warm in summer.
