Welcome to Northstar Apartment in St Anne's Square in the very heart of Belfast's vibrant Cathedral Quarter. This is the perfect City Centre base for your stay in Belfast whether your visit is for business or pleasure. Our apartment will sleep 4 guests in comfort in two double bedrooms. The apartment has recently been completely renovated in luxurious style and is equipped with every amenity to make for an unforgettable stay.
Relax
Guest comfort and safety is our top priority. We use a professional cleaning company who adhere to all Airbnb cleaning protocols and our apartment and linens are all professionally cleaned and laundered after each stay . The apartment also has gas and smoke alarms.
Living Room
The apartment has an open plan living room and juliette balcony with stunning view overlooking the piazza at St Anne's Square.
For your comfort and entertainment the living room provides an impressive 60" Panasonic 4k Smart TV with Netflix subscription, complimentary Wifi, 3 seater sofa and two comfy chairs overlooking the piazza, and table with 4 chairs.
Kitchen
There is a full kitchen with conventional oven, hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washer dryer, iron and ironing board. Tea and coffee are included with Nespresso coffee making facilities. Complimentary snacks are provided to extend a warm welcome.
Bedroom 1 / Ensuite
The main bedroom has a premium King size bed, wardrobe, USB charging point, Wifi or wired broadband, hairdryer, and fully tiled luxury en-suite with shower and toilet, and underfloor heating. The bedroom window looks over the piazza beneath at St Anne's Square.

The second bedroom has a double bed, USB charging point and Wifi access. The window also looks over the piazza below at St Anne's Square.

The brand new luxurious fully tiled bathroom has a large shower and toilet, and is provided with shaver socket / charging point, and complimentary toiletries.
The apartment is kept cosy with Gas central heating that also provides instant hot water. The tiled floors in the bathroom and en-suite are kept warm with underfloor heating.
PureGym is open 24/7 in St Anne's Square and offers day passes for a small fee for visitors.
Guests have exclusive access to the entire apartment including a roomy store for luggage storage.
For your convenience, check in is contactless , just give me a call when you are at the door and I will open it remotely , so you can arrive anytime after 3pm . (Don’t worry if you get held up ! )

St Anne's Square is home to the MAC theatre and superb restaurants such as Coppi, Buba, and House of Zen. Close by are Made in Belfast , Six by Nico , the Muddlers Club and Berts Jazz Bar at the Merchant Hotel . Also to start your day with a buzz adjacent to the entranced our apartment is fabulous artisan coffee shop Established, which is open for breakfast from 7.00 AM and worth a visit at any time of day.
St Anne's Square is at the centre of the Cathedral Quarter which is Belfast's top entertainment destination with numerous hotels including The Merchant, top quality restaurants and the hippest bars and clubs in the City. The Square is also adjacent to the Belfast campus for Ulster University.
As our apartment is in the city centre guests can go out exploring but can easily nip back for a little rest or to make lunch and then head out again . Also after dinner or drinks you can walk home without the need for driving or taxis .
Driving
Our apartment is easily accessible from the M1 motorway and there is a secure 24 hour monitored car park attached to the apartment complex . ( Charges apply) .
There is also free on street parking between 6pm and 8am if you can find a spot.
Flying
Our apartment is a 10 minute taxi ride from Belfast City George Best Airport and approximately 40 minutes coach ride from Belfast International Airport .
Belfast's premier shopping centre is only a short walk away (350m). Victoria Square is home to House of Fraser and over 70 other international and local brands, restaurants and the Odeon cinema.
St Anne's Square is also an ideal base for sightseeing with Titanic Museum, St George's Market and the Waterfront Hall all within a 15 minute walk or less.
For the business traveller the apartment is within less than 10 minutes taxi ride from Belfast City George Best Airport and within walking distance or short taxi ride to Belfast Harbour Estate, City Centre, Titanic Quarter, Waterfront Hall, Ulster University, Queen's University and Financial Quarter.
Centra convenience store, Tesco Express & Lidl are all located nearby.

Hot Water and Heating
The apartment is supplied with complimentary central heating using a Gas Boiler. The control console for the central heating is on the wall by the sofa in the living room. The 1st button on the left is the power button and this toggles between off, hot water (tap symbol visible) and hot water plus central heating (radiator symbol visible). Hot Water is heated instantly on demand - so there is no need to wait for water to heat but the tap symbol must be visible on the console. The 2nd button from the left toggles between manual (hand symbol) and timer mode (clock symbol). The heating will be left on timer mode and if you wish to turn on the heating for extra time press the second button from the left to turn on manual mode as required.
House Rules
The apartment is fitted with smoke detectors and No Smoking is permitted in the apartment at any time.
Strictly no parties are allowed and no visitors or unregistered guests are to be brought to the apartment without the express permission of the host.
Please respect other residents right to peace and quiet at all times, and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM.
If you do not abide by these rules you have broken our contract and you will forfeit the security deposit and in certain cases be asked to leave.
Check out Procedure
Check out is by 11 AM. A time will be agreed with you at check in to return the key and check apartment.
All dishes should be washed and returned to the cupboards where you found them.
All waste is to be brought to the bin store on ground floor facing the lift and correctly separated into food waste and recyclables (sorting guide is in the guest directory).
Our cleaning contractor will charge extra for removing waste and washing dirty dishes, and any extras will be charged against the security deposit.

Apartment was lovely very modern. The only problem we had was the shower in the bedroom wasn’t working properly it wouldn’t give us any hot water from it .

Check in was a shambles. Instructions for facilities inside the apartment poor and out of date. Stained bottom sheet/mattress protector. Bathroom tap grimy. Bedroom windows needed blackouts.

This flat was clean and very comfortable for the 4 adults in our party. The location was fabulous and within easy walking distance to City Hall, the Ulster Museum, the Titanic and many other places in Belfast. Many pubs and restaurants close by. And, unexpectedly, King Charles and his entourage, celebrated a mass of remembrance for his mother right down the street at St. Anne’s Cathedral on the day we were there. Although our entrance to the flat was blocked by his procession for a short time, we were right there when he drove by and waved. A very close brush with royalty!

One of the apartments in St. Anne's Square, we loved it. The property manager checked us in remotely and gave us all the information we needed. The location is quiet and safe and is walkable to many pubs and shopping areas. Highly recommend!

Very nice apartment that was well equipped. Hosts communicated well and check in and out was easy. Location in the cathedral quarter is within walking distance to Titanic Museum, Albert Clock Tower, and Ulster Museum. Many good restaurants and pubs in St. Anne’s Square and on Hill St. and Commerce Court. Apartment was quiet with a view over St. Anne’s Square.

Prior to arriving in Belfast, I appreciated the excellent communication with Ruth. She accommodated our slight change in travel plans and was helpful with coordinating our arrival. Upon arrival, we were delighted with the location of the apartment, size, cleanliness, and many amenities. The property was secure which was great for my sister and me. We walked everywhere, great location!! We had to change our dates of travel 3 times because of Covid, Ruth was so understanding. Apartment was beautiful, beds comfortable and apartment was very clean. Many thanks Ruth.

Perfect
Location was great - apartment was spacious with a really cool view onto St Anne's Square. There's a great coffee shop right outside and bars just a minute's walk plus all the restaurants in the square. We had a really great weekend.

Fantastic apartment in all aspects: brilliant location close to great variety of really nice restaurants., pubs, coffee shops & only 5 minutes walk to Victoria Square shopping.. The apartment is exactly as described- lovely decor, spotlessly clean, really comfy beds, every requirement catered for- including welcome pack! Long overdue friends gathering

Outstanding and highly recommended!
Our trip in March had been planned for months. We had reserved a delightful looking apartment in Belfast, and a congenial host confirmed the booking.
However, it was not meant to be. With much disappointment, and just days before we were to leave on our holiday, it became quite clear to us that, due to fast expanding travel bans, our trip was not going to proceed as anticipated.
Ruth went out of her way to help us change our plans. She was very easy to talk to, got back to us right away and went above and beyond the role of a host. We WILL travel to Belfast and we WILL stay at Ruth's property as soon as it is prudent to do so. While we have yet to stay in Cathedral Quarter, I have no hesitation at all recommending this property, based on the genuine kindness of Ruth and how she went out of her way to help us. Irish hospitality at its best!

Beautiful apartment and BEST location
Ruth was easy to work with and was there to let us in and show us around the property. Thank goodness she showed us how to work the shower :) The apartment looked recently updated and the decor was lovely. We had a view of the courtyard and who doesn't love a view? The VERY best part is the location of this property. We walked everywhere! Ruth's recommendations were spot on as well. Henry's for dinner? YES!

Perfect location for exploring Belfast
Ruth’s flat is spectacular! Everything is sparkling clean and stylish! It’s in a perfect location for exploring Belfast ... especially the nightlife. This was our first trip to Belfast and we’ll definitely be back. I can’t say enough about the people and the city and Ruth’s flat is the perfect location to explore.
We had everything we needed in the flat. The beds are vey comfortable and everything is of high quality.
We did have a car with us and we’re able to park in the parking structure adjacent to the apartment. The parking rates were surprisingly affordable for overnight city parking.
We did cook in one night and had everything you would need ...however there are so many tempting restaurants that I’m sure most guests will eat out.
Definitely visit St. George’s Market if you’re there on the weekends!

Great apartment in Cathedral Quarter
The apartment was super convenient to pubs, restaurants, food stores, and coffee shops. We were at the apartment for 5 days and had no trouble walking to the city center, and the tours we used easily picked us up around the corner in front of St Anne’s Cathedral.
The unit itself was better than the pictures. It was bright, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and relaxing in the lounge area almost (but not quite) made us want to stay in.
Ruth (and Chloe) made us feel welcome and answered any and all questions quickly. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Belfast, and will stay again ourselves the next time we travel here.

Home away from home!
It was our second time renting a self-catered apartment. We loved it! Ruth is amazing with the whole process. And the apartment was very lovely and all the amenities were there.

Quick stay in Belfast
We were only in Belfast for 2 days and this location was great. We could walk to the bar district and great restaurants and the Titanic display. I recommend going to the Observatory at the Grand Central hotel for a drink and an amazing view of the city. Ruth and Andrew were lovely hosts. They even provided a bottle of sparkling wine as we were on our honeymoon. Great place and I would stay there again!

Night Away
The property is amazing and has everything you need. It’s modern and extremely well decorated. It’s perfect! The location is great to, it’s walkign distance from a few restaurants and bars. It’s also easy to travel into the rest of town from here. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Stay for three at Hector Court
The welcome from Andrew for our delayed late-evening arrival and the follow-up from Ruth were extraordinary. The flat was immaculate, everything worked, and all was as it appeared online. We recommend this flat without qualification.

Incredibly Nice, Perfect Location
There are so many pubs and restaurants right outside the apartment. The apartment itself was very well decorated. Everything is updated. Can't think of one single complaint, even minor. Enjoyed everything about our trip! Kelly's Cellars is a 10 minute walk and very well worth a visit.

Great flat for visiting Belfast and nearby countryside
We used this flat for a week, taking in city tours, Giants Causeway, Mourne Mountains and Divis Mountain. Great location everything in the city walkable and convenient parking in nearby car park (paid but got a good weekly rate)
