Casa nel Verde is just located 3 km away from the centre of Terrasini and 1 km from the motorway junction. It has a strategic position thanks to its proximity to the airport of Palermo and to other nice tourist villages such as Isola delle Femmine, Capaci, Balestrate, Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo, where spending your spare time on the beach and also the renowned Selinunte and Segesta.
The villa "Casa nel Verde" is a private and independent house which can accommodate up to 12 people. It is located in a panoramic position on the stunning gulf of Castellammare del Golfo, where enjoying a 180° view!
It is managed by Mrs Jole and her family: Dario, Roberta and Fabrizio.
The villa is the ideal place for those who love nature and look for quietness and relax, but also for those who want to discover places full of art, history, attractions, culture and taste.
The villa is made up by a huge structure realized in an elegant Mediterranean style.
The wide garden , rich in ornamental plants and olive trees, suggests to relax, to read and to enjoy the sunny Sicilian days, while the surroundings offer the possibility of pleasant walkings in nature.

The property looks just like the pictures and my family really enjoyed our time at the Villa. The views are amazing and is very close to everything you will need in Terrasini. The owners were very responsive to our questions. The only issue was the WiFi and satellite TV did not really work. To the owners defense we did not mention it until check out. It was a blessing to truly disconnect.

The villa was spacious for 8 adults with a beautiful view of the water from the covered patio. Excellent location to visit surrounding areas. Our hosts were very gracious and made us feel very welcome!

This older, large, two-story home is a tranquil oasis in which we spent five days of our vacation. Relatively close to the Palermo airport, (and airport car rentals,) the home is located in a quiet, well-established, residential area of similar homes. The grounds of the property are spacious and the South patio affords a wonderful view of the gulf and far shore line. Nicely furnished, kitchen well-equipped, and beds are comfortable. When I return to the Palermo area I will make sure to stay here once again. The only caveat I would offer is to make sure you have a working GPS which is a necessity for locating most of not all accommodations outside of big cities.

We loved the villa and it’s location close to Terrasini . The view from the balconies are awesome. Sam Vito lo capo is in full view and the gulf below us is beautifully lit up all night.

If you want a true Italian Villa experience, this is the place for you. We were welcomed by the owner family as soon as we arrived and they provided a wonderful Welcome Basket of Sicilian goodies for us. The villa is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The owners are very attentive to the needs of guests.

My sisters and I stayed (4 of of us) stayed at this beautiful property. The outdoor space is amazing with a large balcony that wraps around the house and this is by far the best feature of the home. The inside of the house is well laid out as well with four bedrooms - although we only used two of them for our stay and two full bathrooms. The kitchen is a nice size with lots of counter space. It could use a few minor updates but overall I would definitely recommend this home while visiting Sicily. We were able to communicate with Fabrizio through
Whats App if we had any issues. Thank you Fabrizio and family for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Truly a beautiful house
The house and the garden is very spacious and original. It has the most amazing terrace, you will have breakfasts you remember a livetime! and an indoor fireplace plus gas heaters that were perfect for cold spring evenings. Fabrizio and his family were very welcoming and generous and always reachable through WhatsApp .
We think this is the "real" Sicily experience, because it is the old summer house of the family, still with the private furniture and many little details, which makes an atmosphere like home, we prefer it much over a sterile hotel just for tourist.
AC, WiFi, everything was working, we could even do Home-Office from there. And our son loooved the garden.
We felt very safe, it is a quiet neighborhood. You don't even hear the autostrada that goes behind the house (which we were afraid of being loud beforehand).
Palermo, scopello, castellammare del golfo, hot springs, everything is around the corner, but having a car is definitely a big advantage!
We appreciated very much and recommend to all our friends and family:)

Si può e si deve fare di più
La villa ha una splendida vista e ottimi spazi comuni che rendono piacevole il soggiorno. Ci sono però alcuni disservizi riscontrati quali: tutti i materassi sono da cambiare assolutamente, pentole troppo vecchie, area barbecue senza illuminazione, troppe formiche che evidenzia la mancata disinfestazione. La villa ha un potenziale enorme, basterebbe semplicemente fare una buona manutenzione ordinaria e straordinaria.

Wunderschöne, alte Villa!
Wir waren nur zu dritt und nur Frauen aber wir haben uns sehr sicher gefüllt. Die Terrase mit dem Ausblick ist einach märchenhaft! Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Danke noch mal für Alles :-) Um das Haus perfect zu machen wäre es gut neue Handtücher zu kaufen, Küchenaustattung zu erneuiern und fast alle Zimmertüren zu reparieren die nicht schlissen. Sonst war Alles perfect!

Amazing Sicilian Villa
Our stay at Casa nel Verde was fantastic with truly beautiful views. This was a family getaway with 3 different families that totaled 12. The house was very comfortable for all of us. Fabrizio and his family made sure we had a comfortable stay and were always available for any questions or concerns. Any issues that arose were immediately resolved. We were able to enjoy a truly relaxing vacation. Thank you and we hope to stay here again in the future! Tanti saluti alla famiglia Fabrizio!

A Spectacular Villa
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful villa. The five of us couldn't pull ourselves away from the terrace and spectacular view of the ocean and surrounding area! The pictures of the house are accurate. It was a quiet location despite being close to the autostrada. The sounds heard were birds and farm animals. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all having wonderful views and a little balcony too. The kitchen was equipped with all the things we needed to make meals. The villa was like sharing a part of the owner"s family home since it was decorated in such a warm and rich way. The whole family met us upon arrival. Their English is limited, but adequate for us to understand their directions.The family left us a very generous gift basket of food to help us out on our first night. The whole family also all came upon departure, where we took pictures and hugged goodbye. The location couldn't have been better, 15 minutes to the airport, and a very short drive to the center of Terrasini, grocery stores and gas stations. We absolutely would stay there again.

Italian Beauty
We just completed a month of May at the villa. We were greeted by the entire family after our arrival. Communication with the owners were a little difficult since English is not their native language. One surprise we got was we were told we had to clean the villa before we left. I just assumed there would be a maid or house cleaning service. we did clean the entire villa before we left as told. When the owners checked us out, she seemed surprised we had cleaned it, I had told her she said we were supposed to leave it clean. I'm not sure I understood what she meant.
On the other hand, we enjoyed our visit, and Terrasini is an excellent location in traveling around Sicily. The villa ,however, is not exactly how the photos appeared. It has aged and not kept up as the photos show. Some of the items in the home show neglect and the idea of less is more might need to be applied.This is Mamma's home, but some upgrading of kitchen items and comfortable seating, would help a great deal to keep the villa in the running.

Herrlicher Blick, Haus wurde privat genutzt, Räumlichkeiten großzügig
Der Blick ist wirklich großartig! Ebenso die Terrasse. In dem Haus sind noch viele Spuren der Familie für die es gebaut wurde, es ist großzügig und geeignet für viel Menschen. Die Küche ist etwas einfach. Ebenso die Ausstattung mit Geschirr und Gläsern. An manchen Stellen lässt die Hygiene zu wünschen übrig.
Obwohl es nach Terrasini nicht weit ist, ist ein eigenes Fahrzeug notwendig.

Séjour formidable, la Sicile est magnifique !
Magnifique séjour dans la Casa nel Verde, cette villa est magnifique, très volumineuse, pouvant accueillir sans difficulté une famille complète, la vue est imprenable ! La terrasse était notre endroit préféré, la vue y est magnifique de jour comme de nuit (vue sur Castellamare del Golfo illuminée). Le jardin est grand et la végétation y est luxuriante (olives, grenades, citrons, figues, figues de Barbarie, grenades, "carrubi" et j'en passe). La propriété est assez bien située, 15 min à pied d'une crique magnifique et assez peu fréquentée, 5 min en voiture du centre ville de Terrasini (les ballades le soir le long de la mer sont très agréables de par ses rue piétonnes pleines de bar, restaurants, son marché nocturne, allez manger chez Darius Pizza c'est la meilleure pizzeria du coin). Il est à noter toutefois que quelques objets à l'intérieur de la villa sont plutôt vétustes et demandent à être remplacés comme certains ustensiles de cuisine, attention aux poignées de porte à l'intérieur de la villa car elles sont fragiles et le propriétaire en demande une somme non négligeable (40€ pour une poignée cassée). Je recommande vraiment cette villa et j'aimerais vraiment y retourner, de plus le propriétaire Fabrizio ainsi que sa famille sont des gens adorables avec le sens de l'hospitalité !

Sicilia Bedda!
Casa nel verde si affaccia su un bellissimo panorama, è immersa in un bel giardino con spazi esterni molto ampi e accessoriati per godersi i momenti di relax.
La casa è molto grande, abbiamo trascorso il soggiorno in 8 e gli spazi sono adeguati.
La composizione delle stanze è conforme alla descrizione nell'annuncio, dal vivo rende più che in foto.
Terrasini è un grazioso paesino, dove abbiamo avuto modo di essere accolti con la simpatia e la cordialità dei suoi abitanti, sia nei ristoranti che nelle rosticcerie che nei bar.
Citazione particolare per il Margaret cafè e le sue torte casalinghe e lo Street food Terrasini che è il luogo dove degustare le specialità siciliane tipiche per bontà e freschezza.
Sulla statale principale vi è il supermarket PUNTORISPARMIO dove la gentilezza e la professionalità dei dipendenti ci hanno conquistato e un riferimento particolare va alle persone che ci hanno coccolato come Valerio, Maria e Federico.
Consigliamo il soggiorno presso questa casa perchè la famiglia Serio composta dalla Sig.ra Jole e i suoi simpatici figli, Roberta, Dario e Fabrizio che ci hanno accolto con gentilezza e attenzione, vi faranno sentire il calore della Sicilianità.
La posizione della casa consente di raggiungere velocemente l'aeroporto (20 minuti) e visitare Palermo, Trapani, Erice, Mondello, Monreale in tempi sostenibili (massimo 1 ora).
Sicuramente nel periodo primaverile/estivo questa residenza può essere goduta al pieno delle sue potenzialità.

Villa with beautiful seaview
Casa del Mare is a beautiful big villa with a large terrace with privacy and beautiful views over the sea! Furthermore, the villa is in a prime location and the villa is a good base for exploring the north coast. We used the BBQ and often ate on the terrace. We were with a group of 9 people, the villa was definitely spacious enough.
The rooms were neat, unfortunately the kitchen was not so clean. Furthermore the decor of the villa is very dated and old / cramped. Too bad we had to hand over a portion of our deposit for 2 stone doorbuttons that were broken. These were loose, apparently a common problem, because the owner immediately checked the door buttons at the final check. Guests should not have to pay for these costs.

Beautiful home, friendly family, perfect!
After seeing the house on HomeAway, I just had a feeling that this it was too good to be true, but the house was way beyond our expectations! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the whole family, we were in awe of everything. The beautiful view of the sea and surrounding mountains from the terrace and rooms were breathtaking! The house and the bedrooms were very clean and well decorated...we truly felt like were visiting Grandmother's house. Old world charm, comfort and warmth. A welcome basket was on table when we arrived and a warm gesture! I planned this trip for my wife and her twin sister's 60th birthdays and their brother and his wife joined us. This was the perfect house. It was close to the airport in Palermo, and Terrasini. We traveled to much of the western part of Sicily. Close to Palermo, and about an hour and half drive to Erice, Marsala and Cefalu. We truly were overwhelmed with the whole experience of this home...from the home itself, the location and the beauty of Sicily. I would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to return in the future! Thank you again to the family and our contact, Francesco (who kept in contact with us during the whole process) for making this the a trip of a lifetime.

Agréable séjour sous le soleil de la Sicile ,mer bleue azur seul bémol grosse déception region sale
Belle propriété qui nécessiterait un peu de travaux d'aménagement car un peu vetuste (poignets de portes qui nous restent dans les mains ,baguettes de portes qui nous tombent sur la tête plâtre qui s'effrite autour des portes...)mais très jolie vue de la terrasse ou nous avons passé beaucoup de bons moments entre amis

The owners of the Villa made you feel like family. They are so warm and friendly and made our stay very special. When we arrived, the family greeted us with a welcome basket and a bottle of champagne for my parents anniversary. They even gave us beautiful gifts when we left. The Villa was immaculate with beautiful furnishings. Everything was in working order. The veranda was nice for dining outside and enjoying the warm evenings. I cant wait to return to see our new extended family !

Molto luminosa e con vista mare
Abbiamo vissuto una bellissima vacanza in Sicilia. La casa nel verde è molto grande, spaziosa e luminosa e con una bellissima vista sul mare. E' stata la scelta perfetta per soggiornare in tanti salvaguardando la privacy di ognuno. La casa è perfetta per adulti, un po' meno per i bambini in quanto piena di oggetti, molto cari ai proprietari, che rischiano di cadere.
Buona la pulizia anche se la cucina (soprattutto frigorifero) avrebbe bisogno di una pulizia più accurata.

We stayed one week in this beautiful villa overlooking the sea. We were 7 adults each with their own space .. The villa is like pictures, but better. Owner more than perfect with good advice and always helpful. Great thanks, beautiful area and beautiful beaches to discover. Very good restaurants nearby. We invite you to this villa.

Roberta was most helpful guiding us there and showing us around and the welcome pack was lovely.Ideal for a large family or group of friends as there's plenty of indoor and outdoor space including a wonderful barbeque area and plenty of parking.Quite a few restaurants in nearby Terrasini, our favourite was Arabesque. Good location to visit other resorts too such as Scopello and Zingaro, conveniently close to the airport (but you didn't hear the planes!). Easy drive into Palermo (though parking there wasn't easy). Historic sites of Segenta and Selinunte reasonably close but also worth a longer drive to Agrigento if you're interested in Greek architecture.It's their first year of renting out and judging by the previous comments as well as our own, it should be a very successful venture.Sue & Nigel

Honest feedback
Villa Casa nel Verde was obviously a much loved family home. The whole family were there to greet us and took delight in showing us around on arrival, especially the mother. The villa is spacious with beautiful views.
However, we found that the kitchen appliances and equipment, although functional, were rather dated. Some of it was not particularly hygienic. The oven did not work, but we were fine with the BBQ.
Unfortunately, our visit was soured by the response we received to a broken chair. As a member of our party sat on it, the wicker work, which must have been brittle, gave way and the seat fell through. It was obviously not fit for purpose and could have caused injury. We pointed this out on the day of departure with an apology, but were very shocked to be charged a significant proportion of the security deposit! In our opinion a highly excessive amount for accidental damage to chair that should not have been set out for use in the first place, especially if it was that precious to the owners.
I would not particularly recommend this villa to families with young children as there are many personal ornaments etc. around the house.
Finally the electric gates (which all the villas seem to have) failed to work after one day and were not fixed during our stay. This was a little inconvenient, but not too drastic. No apology was given.
We understand that this is a recently added rental home. With a few improvements and a more relaxed attitude to mishaps this could be a wonderful holiday home.

Beautiful, well presented villa, lots of outside space and views to die for.
What an amazing Sicilian welcome we received from 5 of the family members, so welcoming and full of pride for their beautiful home.
The villa has the most amazing views, perched up on the hill, uninterrupted seaviews to the front and breath taking mountains at the back!
The villa is well stocked and we received a welcome pack of basics (bread, cereal, biscuits, water) to get us started. The whole property was incredible clean and well maintained, with the most stunning, sweeping staircase through the middle.
The outside balcony had plenty of different furniture to relax on, eat on and the bbq area was ready to go (even though we chose to eat out every night).
We didn't have our children with us this time but would definitely think about bringing them, and friends next time, there's was plenty of room.
There is no pool with this property, which we missed near the end of the week, but we found a lovely hotel 5 minute drive away that allows you to pay to use there's.

Spacious home at a good location
We had a good time in this spacious house. From the large terrace you have a nice view over the sea. Although the motorway is near, it is very quiet because the residential neighbourhood lies quite a bit lower. Terrassini is an agreable holliday town, with lots of nice restaurants, but you will need a car to get there. Palermo is very easy to reach. The house was very cosy, description on the site is accurate. The family did everything they could to make us feel welcome.
