Hopkins River View is in a quiet and fully fenced hill-top location, ideal when you are holidaying with your four legged friend.
Park outside the garage and head into the open-plan kitchen and dining area which opens onto the upper-level patio overlooking the beautiful Hopkins River & Proudfoots Boathouse. The new decking gives you both shade in the middle of the day while allowing you to enjoy that beautiful sunshine.
Pour a glass of wine and relax in the living area, read a good book or spend the day catching up with old acquaintances. The floor to ceiling windows mean you take full advantage of the view from wherever you choose to sit!
Fire up the BBQ on the deck and sit back and enjoying gorgeous evening views while dining with family and friends. This is really an idyllic home, warm and inviting with views that can't be beaten.

The property had a great view of river and big balcony.
Allowed a pet which was great and secure for them.
Very clean inside the beds and bath.
Problems were that the windows to outside view were not cleaned well. The place needs an update as some things were outdated and/or broken.
No amenities really. It’s rare to find a place that doesn’t have a coffee machine these days.
Also the bbq was not cleaned from previous guest. My dad spent half an hour scrubbing it. Even though it’s part of the check out process.

The location is lovely and very restful. Loved the views and the walk to the mouth of the river. Stunning.

Property itself is very good, great location, views, etc. Our disappointment is with some of the amenities - eg no decent provisions for the money paid, eg nice tea options, coffee machine & pods, bathroom amenities. It was also very surprising that the TVs not only don't have netflix but have no capabilities - we stayed in 5 other properties on this trip and they all had netflix, including already signed-in. Also, aircon/heating for the house is a bit light-on particularly in the back bedrooms. Lastly, BBQ does not work well at all, given position and wind - needs a good BBQ with solid burners.

We did enjoy our stay in this property with a fabulous location and view. Yet it was a pity it wasn't entirely as it seemed from the photos. The kitchen gas stove seemed to run out of gas on our last night, the fixtures and fittings were fairly dated and it was a little pricey for what was actually offered.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. Beautiful, bright open plan living area overlooking the river. Very quiet location. Fully equipped with all we needed. Only down point would be that the decking area needed more up keep. Lots of cobwebs and glass panels were not clean. Needs some sort of screen at the front door because on the hot days there were lots of small bugs at the entrance. Daddy long legs in most rooms. Everything else was lovely.

The property has an amazing view of the Hopkins River.
The inside was clean and tidy but some items were showing signs of wear and tear (e.g. torn and stained curtains) and the beanbag supplied as the 6th seat in the lounge needed beans).
Little things make a difference so, if you promise milk and a bbq, provide milk and bbq gas (although this was quickly sorted on contacting the office).
Outside was a different story. The outside areas, especially the front courtyard, were very overgrown with weeds, with large feature pots full of dead plants and weeds. The deck had been stained but the stain was smeared around all the outside walls. There was a serious ant problem affecting the wood work.
Although we still enjoyed our stay there was a general feeling of the property being unloved.

Lovely house, very clean and well maintained. Awesome deck overlooking the river with stunning views. Full kitchen with everything we needed to cook up our breakfasts each morning, no coffee machine but not a big deal for us. Remote garage with direct entry to house really great for wet days, although we had amazing weather during our 4 night stay. We walked to Logan’s beach Whale nursery lookout each morning, some steep hills but a lovely 35minute return walk if you don’t stop to take in the view. We were planning on bringing our 2 little dogs but found dog minders last minute, however this house would be perfect to bring your pet as a couple of very secure outdoor areas and a great dog beach along the river close by. Also, highly recommend the East Warrnambool fish and chip shop which delivered within 15 mins of our order, great fish n chips! Ideal after a lovely afternoon at Deep blue hot springs. Loved Warrnambool and would certainly stay in this very comfortable house again!

Fabulous holiday property in Warnambool
Stunning views from inside and from the enormous deck, this property is fabulous. Very clean, large living areas, separate bedroom wings with two bathrooms. Very pet friendly (rated highly by our dog - she loved her stay as well). We stayed for four nights. Excellent access to whale nursery lookout and lovely coastal walks. WiFi included.
Well equipped kitchen and secure car parking in a nice neighbourhood. We loved our stay, highly recommended!

We had a lovely time away. House had everything we needed. We were comfortable and warm. Lovely and clean and as described online. View from balcony was amazing. We will definitely come back and recommend this property to our friends and family. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you for having us.

House was well appointed with a beautiful view across the river. Some fittings are a little tired and are ready to be updated. A little more attention could be given to general presentation of the property.

Overall stay
Great location but property is outdated, needs attention. Garage wasn’t big enough to fit our car, and property was below standard regarding cleanliness. Cob webs inside and outside, kitchen benches needed to be wiped also.

Great Property, highly recommended AAA+++
I stayed with my 2 kids and our mini dachshund. The house was well equipped with everything we could of possibly needed. Unfortunately we didn't get great weather, however the property was well equipped for that also. Oil heaters in each room (very cosy) split system for overall house comfort and plenty of comfortable blankets and throws. The beach at the end of the street was amazing and the kids made use of the buckets and spades provided. The lock up garage was handy to unload the car out of the rain. The yard was secure and provided two areas that I could take my pet out for the toilet. The property was overall clean and perfect for some time away. We will definitely come back again and hope for better weather and stay longer. There was so much to do in Warnambool. We had an absolute ball. Thank you so much.

Excellent location.
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was comfortable, fresh and modern. We just needed more heating as we found the lounge are cold. Heater was on highest setting. Loved the location, the view and the cleanliness and modern decor of this home. Animal area safe and secure. Lovely neighbours too. Would highly recommend. :)

Weekend in Warrnambool
The property was great and just as the photos look! Nothing to complain about. There were extra blankets and portable heaters supplied for each bedroom and plenty of space for a few cars!
Only think to keep in mind is that if you have a low car you will have to try enter the driveway/garage on an angle to avoid scrapping the concrete. We made it possible with an i30 though so it’s very doable!
10/10 from our group of 6!!

Property was in a great location - short walk to the beach & nature walks, and a short drive to the town Centre. Beautiful view over the river made for great evenings. The house was clean, and well presented. Looking forward to our next stay there.

This house has great potential. It is in a great location if you have dogs and the views of the river are superb. The fridge was very small for a family of four, the cupboards were practically empty (ie we had to buy salt and pepper, sugar etc), there was no wash basket and the main bedroom bed was Shiite hard and uncomfortable. The sliding fly screens don’t work and the fly wire is torn.Just a few more things and it would be a five star (a welcome pack would also be a great addition).Jamie was a delight to deal with and the communication was fast and clear.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Riverview , the property was very clean and extremely comfortable. It just needs some maintainence on the deck and it’s railing, otherwise a home that has all you need and the location is fantastic

Great views, hard beds
When we arrived at the house, we were all really impressed. The photo's really don't do it justice. The views were amazing and the place was really clean. Unfortunately what let this place down was the heating and the beds. Granted we were there on a really cold weekend, but the only heating in the house was a reverse cycle heater in the lounge. The size of the heater to the size of room meant that it couldn't produce enough heat to keep the place warm. We did find two additional heaters in the cupboards but there were three bedrooms that needed to be warmed so being good parents, we put the heaters in our kids rooms, leaving the master bedroom quite cold. There were a couple thin blankets in the house but we had brought extra doona's with us from home. Just as well. The master bed was quite hard for what we were use to, resulting in sore backs the next day. Sleep and heat aside, the house itself was great but we probably wouldn't go back as it wasn't really restful.

Beautifully located retreat
Property is exactly as advertised. Beautiful location. Many cups of tea had on the deck watching the sunrise and sunset views across the river.
Quick stroll down the hill to reach the river and then walk along it to the beach.
Couldn’t have asked for more. The property was clean, well equipped and warm. The afternoon winter sun warms the whole house wonderfully.
