This is an excellent restored traditional town house in the middle of the action

Location, facilities, Rui who handlers the property introductions. I loved the fact this house is in the middle of all the restaurants and walking distance to bridge. As bedrooms are ok ground level and restaurants put out their table and chairs in the evening - this property will suit people that like having an active environment. The mornings are very quiet and I had excellent nights sleep for the week I stayed.

Nothing really to not like - if owners planning to develop spare room on top floor, would recommend installing an additional toile/shower there too.

Excellent place for family vacation

The house was beautifully renovated and decorated with good taste, and the location was great! This was a perfect "home away from home" place, as the kitchen and other amenities were excellent. Well working wi-fi and Netflix were a bug plus. We truly enjoyed our stay and can recommend this for a family vacation.

The only thing missing were hooks to hang towels in the bathroom, but this was only a minor detail.

Great area and accommodation was lovely but was in a noisy area.

A lot of street noise which due to sleeping on the ground floor was annoying. Mopeds starting up at 5am which were parked directly outside the bedrooms windows.

Really good stay, thoroughly enjoyed

Location was great, maybe a little too good though as it was a little noisy in the evenings.

We only received one key and it cost us a lot of money when we locked ourselves out!!!

Fabulous!

The townhouse is situated in the old part of Tavira, with a lot or restaurants in the neighborhood. The townhouse is renovated, very comfortable, nice kitchen, nice sittingroom, good beds, very nice shower and bathroom.

Very good

The location and layout of the house are excellent

but the location is also a minus. There are many bars and restaurants very close to the house and we were kept awake until 2-3 am by people talking in the street.

Tavira treasure at a good price

Comfortable, charming and central, a beautifully updated historical home. Fully equipped kitchen. Every detail well thought out. Lots of blankets.

Weak wifi signal in the master bedroom. Would have liked an electric outlet at master bedroom desk.

Fantastic location and beautiful property

If you want to explore Tavira whilst staying in luxury accommodation this is the property for you. The host was so helpful and everything you can possibly need is provided for. The shower is great and so are the kitchen facilities. The towels/sheets/bedding are all good quality, and the air conditioning which is essential, works perfectly.

The only downside to this fantastic location is the street noise which can be heard within the rooms as there are restaurant tables directly outside the windows of one bedroom. There was someone serving ice cream from a mobile cart outside the window of the other bedroom. We were staying during high season so this might not be an issue during other months but it’s worth noting if you require quiet to sleep as it went on until the early hours. Myself and my travelling companion both have children so we were generally exhausted every night and could fall asleep regardless. Bring earplugs!

Ideally located apartment with all facilities, close to river, ferry and all amenities

Very central location, close to the river in Tavira and the shops, restaurants and sights. Also close to ferry for trip to Tavira island. Very comfortable apartment with lovely roof terrace overlooking the roofs of Tavira (no river view but very pleasant). Provided with all the required facilities in the bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. (Just could have benefited from some hooks in the bathroom.) Would happily stay again.

Nothing very much. Hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes. You cannot see the river from the roof terrace but it is very nice and gets the sun.

Perfect

The house (on 3 levels) is in the historical part of Tavira but feels like a new built. The kitchen is new and very well equipped. The bathroom has a big shower with good water pressure. We didn't spend time on the rooftop terrace, since we preferred roaming the streets outside but it is certainly a good spot to enjoy a 🍷. We used Tavira as a base and took day trips to Olhão and Faro by train.

Since the bedrooms are on street level it was very loud for our baby, and he kept waking up, so we decided to have him sleep in the living room upstairs which was much better. There is also a little bedroom on the 3rd floor, but it felt a bit too far to have our baby.
