Ruhige Oase mitten im Stadtzentrum

Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit grünem Innenhof. Ruhige Klosterathmosphäre, schöner Frühstücksraum, geräumiges Zimmer, sehr sauber. Man entflieht in den Klostermauern der Hektik des Alltags. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Outstanding value.

The monastery has been beautifully restored. Very close to town but extremely quiet property / neighborhood. Wonderful to have coffee machine, although it did not work the first morning. Wonderful air conditioning.

Perfect place to stay.

Nice hospitality, extremely clean, comfortable, well-equipped, very unique and beautiful place to stay. We were given a room named after Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, which I considered very kind.

Characterful, peaceful and great value

This was a great find for my wife and I - perfectly located in the heart of the city and full of character. The room was spacious and clean, and we were very well looked after.

The guest house has a unique atmosphere, it is well located, and very very clean. There is a nice garden, where you can have coffee, also provided by the guest house. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

The accommodation is part of an old monastery converted to welcome guests in the heart of Oristano. One cannot but appreciate the tranquility and sense of peace found inside the convent walls. Sister Catherine welcomed us and gave us the necessary information about Oristano and it's whereabouts, giving us advice on good restaurants etc. She got out of her way when we needed assistance. We were also offered the use of bikes and part of the monastery garden to enjoy breakfast. There was coffee, teas and biscuits close to the sitting room which had a large plasma TV. Highly recommended 🙂

The coffee/ tea area would work better if there was was a sink to wash up. 😉

I like the historic value of the place and Sister Catherina was very helpful, we could use their bikes on our 1st day.

The breakfast could be simply up graded with some apples. Eventually yogurt. Otherwise it was fine.

Peace

This is a special place to sleep, a place to find peace. You sense the history and inmediatly feel that you need to respect this space. The whole place is super clean, the hotel rooms are simple, everything you need is there, very well taken care of. The garden is beautiful too.

It was really cool to stay in a monastery and have a nun welcome us and do the check in. The building and grounds were very nice, and in a great location for walking around town.

A lovely place to stay, in a historic building in the centre of town.

A big and comfortable room, with en suite bathroom, in accommodation belonging to a convent in the centre of Oristano. A lovely, peaceful place to stay.

It was a privilege to stay here!

Despite the age of the monastery, the visitor accommodation and facilities have been very sympathetically upgraded and are of a high quality and, although guests are not normally allowed to enter the gardens or other areas reserved for the nuns themselves, it is possible to enjoy the ambience of the monastery from walking through former cloisters to reach the guest bedrooms, refectory and lounge, etc. as well from windows which overlook the gardens and older cloisters. There is a good sense of history, religious observance and quiet contemplation to be gained from a stay here, as well as the comfort you would normally expect from a high class hotel.

Bug infestation is a deal breaker.

The location is good and the parking pass provided is handy.

There were problems: WiFi not working; no hot water; infestation of bugs in the room. They called a plumber to connect the hot water but the bugs were too much: I left after only one night. The sister who is in charge of guest relations doesn't have the people skills required for the job. The room was also very small and just not up to standard. You couldn't reduce the rate enough to justify staying there when much better alternatives are available. The ratings the place receives are about the Monestary itself and not about the quality and value of the hospitality experience. I could never recommend this place for an overnight stay.
