Not what expected but it was nice

Property was very clean and nicely decorated. Overall a nice home. Some things to improve on is possibly getting some decent beach chairs, a gas grill and more seating in the family room. Overall, would recommend to others.

This beach house is decorated super cute, and had everything we needed. Was not far at all to walk to the beach access, and we even walked to the Alys Beach area. When we let the owner know the beach chairs were broken and in bad shape, she reimbursed us for the chairs we had to buy ourselves, which I thought was so kind of her, certainly didn’t expect that! We really enjoyed our time together the week we were there!

We loved our stay memorial day weekend. Few minutes walk to the beach, and the condo was very clean and comfy! No complaints.

Our family of 4 plus our mini doodle had a lovely stay of 5 days. We found the cottage to be ideally located and sparklingly clean upon arrival. You would never guess a single pet had stayed there, as you could not even find a stray hair. All was as pictured inside. Despite being close to the main road that separates the neighborhood from the beach access point, we found that it was very quiet and private — a sanctuary away from
the spring break crowds. The neighborhood is all brick/paver-lined streets — very charming with a loop towards the back that was ideal for dog walks.
The master bedroom was so comfortable, and we slept like babies. Our kids, 10 and 8, loved the bunk beds. We had plenty of space indoors and felt safe letting the kids play around outside in the driveway.
Nearby, we enjoyed trips to Grayson Beach, a private tour with 30A Boat Valet, and the restaurants in Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, as well as The Big Chill for the kids.
The only oddity was that two folks from the property management company (Mylan was one) told us the rental was not pet friendly, so I corrected them and assured them it was both advertised and booked as such. Minor communications issue that can easily be addressed by the owner and didn’t at all impact our satisfaction.

We would recommend anyone staying here! It was a quick and easy walk to the beach and centrally located on the 30A stretch. The host responded quickly to our questions, house was spotless, and we have no complaints (if planning to cook while here, just note to bring oil, etc. they have seasoning and cookware). Thank you for having us!

I planned an end of the summer vacation with my daughters and this place checked all the boxes. Location, style, beach, pool and plenty of things to do. I would highly recommend this property to friends. Owner was super helpful in providing things to try and check out. House was clean and very well maintained. Great place for a long vacation or a quick getaway.

My mistake was not booking Gulf Front. I needed to be able to see the water and beach from my balcony. But if you don't mind staying acrid the road, down 52 vertical steps

We spent 4 days at Seacrest 150 feet from the beach (as advertised)! The weather was wonderful.
We had 2 70-somethings, 2 40-somethings and a 4 year old.
I will make a list of the creature comforts we enjoyed.
1. the outdoor shower had hot and cold water.
2. we all took showers to wash off the sand and there was plenty of hot water.
3. There were paper towels, trash bags, bath soap, hand soap, 3 dishwasher pellets, plenty of towels and freshly made beds.
4. The house is beautifully decorated in a beachy theme as in the pictures.
5. The community pool was heated.
6. When I called the rental service with a question, the phone was answered immediately.
7. There are four stairs to the front porch. The rest of the house is one level. Great for a senior who needs a cane.
8. The TV had Netflix and several other streaming services. I think previous guests had signed on to other services and failed to sign off, so only count on Netflix - but you might stumble onto some other services.
9. The Wi-fi always worked and the signal was good.
10. Directions for trash were posted and we got a reminder e-mail the day before pickup.
11. The washer and dryer were full-sized.
12. There were a variety of games in the game cupboard.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the house. Easy walk to the beach and convenient to everything in and around Rosemary Beach and Seaside. Tanis was quick to respond to every question. Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay. Cute appointments. Loved having three baths. Location would be fine if there hadn’t been construction going on in the building in front

Absolutely everything was great except the internet connection. I called the ISP and it didn’t help. We had no internet over half the time and the cell service in Panama City Beach/Seacrest Beach is tough. These are things you can’t do too much about.

Great Spot for Small Family
We had a great time here. The walk to the beach is short and the A/C worked great! I recommend renting a golf cart to drive around this area as it makes it so much more pleasurable.

Good, not great
Our family loves coming to 30A and the beaches there. This house was very clean, and overall location was great - super short walk to beach, close to pool, close to Rosemary Beach, HUB, other restaurants. Being right next to golf cart parking isn’t ideal (lights and noise in master), but wasn’t a huge problem. Property managers were responsive when we needed assistance with a couple of things. Our biggest issue was the lack of expected supplies (toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, paper towels) in rentals, especially at this price point. We rent often and this was the least stocked we’ve had, and required hassle with extra trips to the store (which no one wants to do on vacation!). Also some of the appliances/furniture/fixtures weren’t the quality we’ve typically seen at similar and even lower price points (for example, no full size coffee maker). We understand rentals aren’t going to have the best stuff, but for this price per night, it was less than we expected.

Never get tired of 30A
We have stayed in this neighborhood at least 5 times and will continue to do so as it is a great location. Few things about this property that don’t necessarily stand out in the pictures are that it is on the first street, meaning it backs up to the condos making for more noise and traffic than some of the other streets. The house also sits next to the golf cart parking so you can expect little privacy on the deck. Lastly the house is overall quite clean but the cloth headboard in the master is rather stained. None of this is huge but good to know.

May Summer Vaca
The house was spacious enough for our trip. It was clean and fully stocked with anything you need for a home away from home. I will rent this home in the future. The only thing of note is that you are allowed to use the private beach access to gain entry to the beach, but you are not allowed to sit on the private beach. You have to sit on the public beach which is about 50 yards from the stairs of the private beach access. Not a deal breaker, but still a small trek with little kids. We stopped using the private beach access and just used the public beach access which was a short walk down the street.

Spring break stay
The property was clean and the location to the beach was perfect, especially for families like ours with small children. It should be noted that this property was pretty bare-bones; we had to purchase many items that you would expect to be supplied, such as sponges, paper towels, garbage bags…There were 6 bath towels provided for the four of us, and no beach/pool towels at all. We ended up spending more money than we expected to on this trip due to “filling in” many every day necessities.

Great Stay in Magnolia Cottages
We have been staying in the Magnolia Cottages for the past ten years, and always really enjoy the neighborhood. This home had everything we need, save for a broom & dustpan, which a quick call to the property manager solved - one was dropped of the next morning. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything needed to prepare our meals. The beds were all very comfortable. There were no surprises in terms of what we expected versus how the home actually was. We loved the location on the first street behind Waterhouse condos.
The only disappointing part of the trip had nothing to do with the property, however, I think it is important to know if you've stayed at Magnolia before and are making a repeat trip. The deeded beach access across from the entrance to the beach is now only allowed for access, you cannot set up your own chairs/tents/blankets/etc at the foot of the stairs. Further, the chair service at the base of the stairs, as well as directly to the left and the right will not rent to Magnolia renters. To set up your own spot, you must walk to the public beach access areas to the left or the right of magnolia. This was annoying to discover, but again, had nothing to do with the actual home. This could be more difficult for parents of younger children who may wish to go back to the home more frequently throughout the day. It was manageable for our group, though we may reconsider where to stay next year based on this beach access change.

Nice cottage close to beach
We’ve been staying at Magnolia for almost 15 years, but this was our first time at this cottage. It is the closest house in the neighborhood to the beach, and we loved having such a short walk to the sand. The property owner was incredibly fast to respond to questions. We hope to stay here again next year!

Great getaway
We really loved our stay at this cute cottage. It was great for our little family. It was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and found it easy to access. It was also a short drive to resturants and cute shops. We would stay here again!

Close to the beach
This property is close to beach, just a short walk to the private beach. If you have chairs that’s great. If you are using the chair service suggested it’s going to be a bit if a hike to where they set up your chairs, 2 beach accesses down.
The house is good for 1 family but one of the bedrooms has no bathroom so tough for adults. There is no storage or mirror in that extra bedroom either which also makes it difficult to get ready or get to your things. The furniture/sofa is very uncomfortable so don’t plan on lounging around at night. There were no games or things to do at the house, we usually find several at any house we’ve stayed in all over the US. Outdoor porch is very sunny and bare bones, so not a place to go relax. The doors were very difficult for all of us to work, sticky and hard to lock.
The most troubling thing was there were no cleaning supplies, only 2 trash bags for an entire week, a very limited supply of toilet paper and absolutely nothing else in the house or kitchen as far as supplies. I’ve stayed in many rentals and this was new for me. We flew so no way to bring all of these items. We did a grocery order prior to getting there but had no idea we would need to order trash bags or toilet paper.
Owner did reply but didn’t supply more, very disappointing. Seems the owner would want you to clean a bit while you are there. . .
If you want a bare bones place by the beach, this ones for you! This place needs some down time for a good cleaning/refresh, a bit of attention to detail and it could be a great place.

Nice Location
The property was nice. It was a short walk to the beach and conveniently located to restaurants and shops. The property was very clean with the exception of the master shower which needed a good scrubbing.

Quaint Cottage w/ Great Location
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! House was as advertised; clean, nicely decorated and close to the beach. The bunk beds were a hit with my oldest girls and the back deck was peaceful while enjoying a cup of morning coffee. The walk to the beach was easy and the swimming pool came in handy especially with the Rip Current warnings in place for most of the week. Restaurants in the surrounding neighborhoods were easy to get to and had some great dining options.
Only downsides we noticed was the couch wasn’t in the greatest condition and some of the drains in the shower/bathtub were very slow.
Other than that everything was great! Would definitely stay here again!
