As are the crystal clear waters of the Latchi beaches complete with sun beds, umbrellas, beachside pubs, water sports, boat rides and diving lessons. You do not need a car to reach any of these. Close by are the baths of Aphrodite with an exhilarating view over the bay. According to legends the baths are where Aphrodite took her beauty baths in a pool of a natural grotto shaded by a fig tree. My villa is situated about 3km out of the Akamas national park, the Akamas peninsula is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Sandy bays, deep gorges with varied landscapes. Having been to the town several times over the years, I had always wanted to stay in one of the white washed villas along the beach road on the edge of town.
This one was perfect and it turns out that the property manager, Joseph Smith, is someone I have rented from before. Highly recommended.
The villa, garden, pool, terraces were all just right and made for one of my best stays in Cyprus. The fact that everything is a short walk from the villa made it even better. Some great restaurants and bars and the people are all so friendly.
Will be back in a heartbeat.
