We stayed at this property for a long weekend in August. Whilst the weather was a bit of let down, the house didn’t disappoint. It was clean and spacious and was very close to the centre of Keswick. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need to make a meal and more!
Elisabeth was the perfect hostess. She provided us with really helpful information prior to our stay and kept in regular contact over the weekend

Outstanding holiday home!
We rented this property for a week in August and honestly didn’t want to leave. It is beautifully decorated and fitted out with everything you need for a home-from-home holiday experience. We loved going back to the house after some fun and challenging walks and having a relaxing bath or steaming hot shower in the gorgeous bathroom. Making dinner in was easy as the kitchen is kitted out with everything you need to cook all your favourite meals. Then relaxing in the cosy living room watching telly while we rested our tired legs. The location is also excellent - easy to access the rest of the Lakes by car and 5 minutes walk into the heart of Keswick. The owner was exceptionally helpful and communication was excellent. I honestly can’t rave about this property enough. We loved staying here.

Excellent Place to Stay in Keswick
This was an amazing place to stay - the house is very well, maintained, clean and in a perfect location.
Location wise, it was a 6-7 minute walk into Keswick town centre with all its shops, cafes and amenities, a 2 minute drive from the A66 for easy access. The main supermarket (Booths) was a 6-7 minute walk away, but there was also a small supermarket at the petrol station 1 minute away. Lots of great walks from Keswick and easy access to the rest of the Lake District.
Communication from Elisabeth was brilliant - checking with us to make sure we had received the directions and checkin info in advance and then emailed a couple of times during the week to check that everything was in order..
The bedrooms were all of a good size (we only used the double and it was a very comfortable bed), the bathroom with shower above the bath was large, modern and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped (although we ate out most of the time so only used it to prepare the odd light meal!). There are plenty of board games & puzzles to keep children (& adults) entertained in a cupboard in the dining room.
One last tip - if the sun is shining in the afternoon, the bench in the front garden is a real sun trap!
Were there any negatives to report? Not that I can think of - this is one of the best all-round places we've stayed at - I'm sure anyone staying here will enjoy it as much as we did.

Great Accommodations in Keswick
This was a great property. Elisabeth the owner/manager was super communicative and helpful. The location was great and we really enjoyed the fireplace and warm shower. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and Wi-fi was seamless.

Super located cottage
Fabulous location and great communication by the owner. We had a really good holiday, even in the Covid times. Only had to use the car twice in a week because the walking and Keswick is on the doorstep. Great place

Cosy and fun cottage
Very nice and cosy with many sofas so that everyone could find their preferred place to stay. We've also enjoyed some of the DVD for the family to watch in the evening.

Amazing
This house was AMAZING!!! I definitely recommend it, especially for families. On top of all the normal stuff that you would expect, it has puzzles, games, movies and numerous books for all ages. There was a small ping pong table, perfect for kids as well. The rooms were arranged so that intimate conversation could be had in one room while other people are playing or having quiet time in a different room. There was a HUGE amount of information provided about the house and fun things to do in the area. The house location was right in town, VERY close to grocery stores, including Boothes which is a supermarket. Even though it's close to fun shopping and within walking distance of a beautiful lake, the house was not near heavy traffic that made alot of noise. This was by far one of the best short term rental experiences I have ever had. Well worth the money.

Perfection!
I visited Limepots for a week over October half term with my wife and 2 young children. House is very well located about 5 mins walk from the centre of Keswick (there is also a petrol station and spa opposite the house for the essentials).
House is very well appointed with everything you would need. I’m a keen cook and I was very impressed with equipment in the kitchen.
Bedrooms excellent and can easily sleep 6. Lots of space in general.
Perfectly clean on arrival.
Great communication and help from the owner when booking and during our stay.
We shall definitely be back. Outstanding!!!

This is the perfect holiday house!
This spacious, clean and attractive house is the perfect base for a holiday in the lakes.
The house is within walking distance of the town centre, park and swimming pool whilst also being a fantastic base for walking in the fells.
Ample off-street parking and a real log- fire make it hassle free and cosy. The beds were extremely comfortable and the street is very quiet, you’d never know your in a town!
The best holiday home we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in.
Thank You

Cosy, family friendly house on the edge of Keswick
Really lovely house, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Couldn't ask for more, 5/10 minute amble in to the town centre. We had a fabulous time during our stay and would highly recommend if you are looking for a property in walking distance of Keswick town centre with a cosy, family friendly feel.
We will definitely be returning.

Spacious, bright and comfortable house close to Keswick town centre
Fantastic base for exploring the Keswick area. Spacious well equipped house within short walking distance of Keswick town centre. Off street parking.
House has everything you require- comfy beds, great shower, well equipped kitchen and plenty of logs for the open fire. A cosy and warm place to return to after a day's walking or exploring the area. Highly recommend the Pheasant Inn but you must book. Will definitely come back next time in Keswick.

Fabulous family home from home: Limepots!
This was our first time staying at Limepots under its new ownership- Elisabeth and Richard have made wonderful, high quality improvements to the property, which we have stayed at many times in previous years. As hosts, we couldn't have asked for more-every detail was carefully thought out, and communicated well before our stay, so 10/10 for customer service. The property is a beautiful home, immaculately clean, well maintained, and very tastefully decorated throughout- the website pictures do not really do it justice.
Limepots is a 5 minute flat walk to the centre of Keswick, 2 minutes to the park, and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town to be peaceful and quiet. There is a drive that easily can park two/ three cars plus a safe garage for storing bikes or equipment you may bring. There is also a private garden, with seating, so that you can relax there if you are lucky enough to get some sunshine.
The house is well equipped with everything you may ever need, and more! The new kitchen is fabulous, and the new downstairs bathroom is a definite improvement and saves queueing for the upstairs bathroom! There are lots of little things that make a family holiday that little bit easier- you can literally bring your clothes and walking boots and go! We have stayed here many times, and have lots of friends and family who have stayed after our recommendation- the new improved Limepots is even better! Im sure even the pickiest of guests would find it hard to pick fault here.
We love the Lakes, and Keswick has it all, in my opinion-great days out for walking, boat trips, fab foodie places to eat, and lovely pubs to quench your thirst in. The town has a family friendly vibe, and there are loads of lovely shops to browse. We particularly enjoyed Lingholme at the far side of Derwentwater- lovely food, great service and a wonderful setting for morning coffee & cake, or a hearty lunch. A lot of time and money has obviously been spent on Keswick after the terrible floods, and it was obvious the town had recovered and bounced back larger then life. Buy a weekly pass for the Keswick launch, get your walking boots on, enjoy the great outdoors... coming home to a lovely log fire, and a beautiful home from home in Limepots just adds to the pleasure!

Beautiful Holiday Home
We had a wonderful time in Limepots. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to make your stay a home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware of everything you could possibly need. It had a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier etc which was extremely handy. It had two beautiful downstairs rooms. The front had a beautiful lounge with a TV and a beautiful view across to the Church and at the back was a dining room and a sun room which was lovely to sit in and read. Upstairs there was a shower over the bath and lovely bedrooms. The garden was private and had a lovely wooden garden table and seating. At the side of the house there was a driveway. I had fantastic customer service from the owner Elizabeth. She had been in contact with me before, during and after our holiday. I have never had this great a customer service from any holiday I had booked before. We certainly will be booking this home again in the future. I certainly would recommend this home. It is without doubt the best home we have been to. The Lake District in general is so picturesque. It takes your breath away.

Beautiful property in a fab location
My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Limepots. It has spacious and comfortable bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Our kids enjoyed the games and movies. Being the Lakes, we had a mix of sunshine and showera but enjoyed walks to Cat Bells, Latrigg, Aira Force and Buttermere. We were also fortunate enough to be in the Lakes during the recent meteor shower and loved seeing shooting stars from the front of the house! The house has a great location, just 5 minutes walk from Keswick and it was great to come back to after a day of exploring. All of my family loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

Superb house in a great location.
Cannot recommend this property highly enough. A great location close to the town centre. The house is spotless and very tastefully furnished. It has every amenity you should need including a decent strength WIFI.
I would urge to to visit the Pheasant Inn which is a 10 min walk for great food.

Lovely house with everything you could possibly need. Limepots is extremely clean and well maintained, very nicely decorated with a small conservertry which was a real bonus. Elisabeth gave lots of information to help us during our stay which was really useful.
We would recommend this property.

Lovely House with a great central location
We know Keswick very well, and stayed at Limepots as it gave us the perfect location. It is only a 5 minute walk to Keswick town centre, 5 mins from Fitz Park (which is great for the kids), and just enough to be away from the hustle and bustle on busy days. The house was modern, immaculately kept, all the the usual facilities. Great views of the mountains from each bedroom. Overall a great property and location and we loved every minute of our stay and would definately reconmend!!

Excellent house in a great location
Limepots is the best house we have stayed in in Keswick, its clean, well decorated, amazing layout and very well kept! It also has great facilities like board games galore, loads of DVDS and ping pong too!! We loved the house, it was only a 5 minute walk into town. We ate at the fish and chip shop at the top the street, beautiful! The Dog and gun was also great, quiz night on the Thursday night was great, try the Loweswater Gold real ale! Beautiful! We hiked everyday, we drove to Braithwaite (beautiful) and hiked the Coledale horseshoe, it was an amazing day and fully recommend it! All in all this house was the best we have had an Elisabeth was very hands on explaining the best places to eat and drink etc, its a place that we will come back to and definitely book the lovely Limepots again!

Limepots just git better!!
I've been staying at Limepots since 2012 (lads cycling holidays) and this is our 2nd year as a family and what was a great little house just got better! The addition of Wi-Fi(essential nowadays) a brand new downstairs Loo,brand new kitchen and redecoration have really took Limepots up a notch!
The house has everything a family(or friends!) could possibly need. It's close enough to walk into the hustle and bustle of Keswick but also far enough away to be quiet and relaxing.Off street parking AND a Garage in Keswick is pretty hard to find but Limepots has it!This was our first stay under the new ownership but we look forward to many more years at Limepots!
PS I have to mention Kitchen Knives! We like to cook and I generally take my own knives as the ones supplied in Holiday homes are really sharp enough.A Sabatier knife set in the new kitchen...it's the little things that make all the difference!! :)
We really can't recommend Limepots enough!
