My daughter was competing in the Jr Olympics at Texas A&M so we needed a place to stay for the week. This place was very well equipped…we used the hottub, grill, washer and drier. She provided coffee, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner…a lot of extras you don’t usually find in a VRBO. It is out of town, but not too far. Highly recommend!

Very nice location, neat getaway place to stay. We did encounter a scorpion and a wasp in the house (they warn about this, but be aware). The washing machine is close to breaking down and the dryer was broken. This is a duplex style rental. You can hear the neighbors next door. For the most part a mild recommend with the caveats I mentioned.

Lovely country home. Very cozy with everything you could need! Really great outdoor area that we enjoyed! Played games and ate outside.
Just close enough to A&M, but really nice country setting, we saw deer, tons of birds, it was a nice escape!
Will definitely return!

I planned a surprise girls' weekend for my friend's birthday. She lives in College Station and thought it was just me coming and that I had just got us a local hotel room for a sort of stay-cation. We all just loved this darling lodge. So clean and comfortable. The Christmas decorations were perfection. It had everything we needed and close to everything we had planned - Santa's Wonderland, Marth's Bloomers for lunch and Star Cinema for a dinner and movie. The patio with the firepit was a great place to just chill and catch up. Tammy (inn keeper) was very pleasant and friendly. We never got to the hot tub but wanted to. I recommend staying here. Lori

Wonderful!!
This place was perfect for our family visiting our Aggie. It was clean and comfortable. The private courtyard was awesome. We grilled and made breakfast with all of the provided cookware. The hot tub was so nice to relax in after a few hours of walking around campus.
There was an air mattress that was in great condition. Beach towels. Everything was provided minus food and drink.
The host was helpful and timely.
Highly recommend this place to stay!!!
Yes there are others on the property as noted on the listing but we felt alone. It was great.

Nice Place
We were a bit surprised that it was a duplex but it turned out being very private. The courtyard was perfect for our dogs. Kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms and bedrooms are a good size. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time
This place was definitely close enough to be convenient for a game, but far enough out that it was peaceful when we were looking for downtime. Very cute and quirky little find.

Great R&R Spot
My college age kids and I really enjoyed staying at the Lodge for 3 days. Rooms were decorated in fun themes. We spent lots of time out on the patio. I think watching a movie in the movie bedroom was our favorite. College Station sites are all a short drive away. I would definitely recommend!

Little Gem
Very lean. Love the seclusion and privacy but yet not to far away from A&M to see our kid and do all of the activities

We arrived late at night and had it been a little earlier we wouldn’t even have stayed the night. We ended up leaving first thing in the morning. It was awful. The decor had been changed and was hideous. There was a bucket full of cigarette butts outside of the front door and the place reeked of smoke. To make it worse, they tried to cover it with glade plug ins that just made a sickly smell. The place was a mobile home split with the owner’s residence and then they put a lean to on it and painted it. The walls and ceiling were particle board painted. The decor would have just been something to laugh off if the smell weren’t overwhelming. We all woke with sore throats and left first thing in the morning. A man (the owner?) met us at the car and asked what was wrong. We told him that the cigarette smell was just so overpowering we couldn’t stay. The furniture was broken. The leather couch was sagging and was split and had a fabric loveseat place in the middle of it, as if it were part of the sectional. I then sent an email to the property contact. She wrote a response and then seemed to get angry and admitted they were listening to us, and knew we were dissatisfied but she didn’t hear us complaining of the smoke smell!! So if you book this place, know that they will be listening to your conversations, I imagine through the thin, pre-fab walls. Know also that it’s nothing like the photos, and is not a good value for the price at all. I’m sad most of all that I threw good money away to have my privacy violated.

Owner listened to us through the walls. Very strong smoke stench. Not as pictured.

Creepy
This place is not at all what we expected it is pretty much a lean-to particle board add on to a persons trailer. Kids everywhere, cigarette smoke over powers you when you arrive and no one greeted us just stared👀 the add on is basically part of the owners house and you can hear every thing they are saying! We did not end up staying we left bc it was so creepy!

Relaxing getaway
Overall our stay was excellent. The house was very warm and inviting. There was delicious muffins and a tray of fruit for us when we arrived. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. There was a cute white kitty that came to greet us every day we enjoyed him. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the soft rugs on the side of the beds. Lots of room for the two of us and the location of the Lodge was great for going into town. It was quite and peaceful and that is just what we needed. The patio was cozy and we spent a lot of time outside. We would stay again.

Hot tub in the countryside
Although for the most part our stay was peaceful and pleasant. The hot tub and outside porch was relaxing, but the cats kinda put a damper in the peaceful part and so did the rucus of loud noises, music, and singing coming through the walls from next door. The trash was full outside when we got there, but was taken care of and emptied the next day. The breakfast treats were a nice surprise. Livingroom/diningroom were a good size. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and made the evening a great way to end it, in bed watching Netflix.

Pretty and relaxing place
We came here to relax and get out of the city for a bit given the COVID situation. We hadn't done that in a long time, so it was refreshing. The patio was beautiful and such a lovely time. The hot tub was great, and now I want one. The place was clean and comfortable. Plus, the highlight had to be the terribly sweet kitties that we made friends with (I wonder what their names are lol).
I felt safe given the COVID situation as well. I didn't have to interact with anyone in person and the place seemed well cleaned.

Just what we needed!
The place was just like in the pictures! Perfectly clean, peaceful, and cozy. The owner put a dog bed out for our pup to enjoy while we were staying! There were oatmeal cookies in addition to the delicious spread set up for breakfast.
The hot tub was already heated and waiting and we made good use of it! Plus we roasted some s'mores out back with the wood and marshmallow sticks that the owner had set up there.
Honestly the stay was everything we needed. A quiet little corner where we could have a peaceful time hanging out with our friends. Will definitely recommend it to others travelling in the area, and definitely considering another trip out! ♥

Unforgettable
Very welcoming and festive with the Christmas trees, live flowers, decorations, etc. both inside and outside patio. My daughters and I were down for my grand daughters graduation for Texas A&M. Tammie was so nice to even have a cake and congrats swag. There was an assortment of fruit and juice and milk in the 'fridge. She and Mike made us feel at home. Also, enjoyed spending time in the evening on the patio with their loving "Kitty".

Country Stay
We were a party of 4 staying for the Texas A&M game
The Good
Speedy checkin
Spacious bedrooms and living room
Hosts were very gracious and welcoming
Quiet and remote location
Presence of hot tub and grill.
The Bad
Lighting outside if arriving late is poor with only rope light illuminating a very narrow path to the side of the entrance
Kitchen was very small
Movie themed room bathroom ceiling way to low for people over 6 feet. We have several members in our family over 6 feet
Found live scorpion in the bathroom (we were warned to be aware of snakes and scorpions)
Doorways are of unusual width and height which can be a hazard for tall people
Leather sofa not very comfortable and light switches at odd locations
Wasp nest and dead bugs inside
Not handicap friendly

Amazing experience
We were in town for my brother-in-law’s graduation from Texas A&M. We couldn’t have found a more perfect place for us to stay. I scored some serious brownie points with my in-laws for finding this property. It is located just outside of town in a very quiet neighborhood just minutes from anything you need. The property is even better than the description and pictures. The owners were absolutely amazing and easy to contact with quick responses to questions we had. They even provided a graduation cake that was absolutely delicious. My brother-in-law had a couple friends stop by who were still in school. They loved it and want to have their parents stay when they come visit. Would definitely recommend (and have) to anyone staying in the area.

Loved everything except the cats
There were two cats that were actually quite sweet, but persistent and knew where they wanted to be. Only a problem because one in our group has major allergies. Otherwise, the ladies onsite made sure we were happy and comfortable and brought us everything we could have asked for. The rooms are as shown and comfortable. The kitchen is especially well appointed. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back with an allergy-free group.

Great place for a getaway weekend
It was a very nice place, very homey and at the perfect location. My wife and I needed a weekend away from the kids and this was perfect. Close enough to town so we spent one night downtown Bryan. And far enough away to feel away from it all. The back porch was the highlight of it all for us. We spent all day Saturday sitting next to the fire, talking and playing games. Thanks for the restful weekend!

Calm and Quiet!
We took a set of Grandparents to see our Zip march in the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band and to visit our fish daughter. The Lodge was a quiet get away from the hustle and bustle of game day on campus! The indoor space was perfect for the four of us with everything we needed from meals, sleeping, and a big TV. The outdoor setting is awesome, when the Texas heat subsides it is a perfect place to sit and catch up!

Enjoyed it
Enjoyed the stay. One caution - property advertises it will sleep 6 but there is only bed space for 4. If more than 4, sleeping on a couch or a blow-up mattress is required. Other than that, all was great!

Great stay for Graduation
We had a great weekend. The lodge was adorable, the gardens were beautiful. We came for our son's graduation, and had a little get together there. Tammy and Michael were very accommodating. They set up a canopy and sprayed for mosquitoes and filled the tiki torches before our party. It was so nice to have a place to hang out with the family. Wish we would have stayed there sooner. Thank you for helping to make our weekend memorable.
