My experience.

Well clean room, more comfortable bed, family environment, staff behaviour very good. Bar very good.

Share Kitchan is very poor 😢. Need to improve 😢.

Superb

Modern hotel with a lot of students. Sometimes they are noisy.

Some common areas (fridge and drying machine) are not very clean. Breakfast can be better.

Everything you need from a hostel and more at a very reasonable price. Top notch!

Genuinely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The facilities are amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was decent and the staff are wonderful. All this for a very low and affordable price. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Average stay

The location and breakfast were good. Staff was friendly too. The ladies at the breakfast were very sweet every morning and always with the big smile.

The quality of mattress and the pillows were really really bad. Also if you light sleeper then I suggest you book another accommodation. There a lot of students staying and around 4/5 am they are coming back from parties making a lot of noice, banging doors etc.

10/10 stay!

Absolutely fantastic hostel and one of the best I’ve been to. The room was spotless, spacious and came with a great bathroom. The roof top area was nice to relax on a sunny day.

Amazing value for money, loved it.

Lovely place, modern design, very clean and tidy. Good bathroom, nothing leaks or broken, hot water exists :-) and they provide you with two towels. Beds are nice and clean, sturdy and don't squeak, also there is a small shelf with charger and usb port to charge devices. Location is awesome, close to the city center. Also breakfast was delicious, just enough food, worth it 100%.

Unfortunately no privacy curtains nor reading light, so when the lights are on it's very bright on the top bed and dark on the lower bed. Lockers were ok but my relatively small 40L backpack didn't fit.. had to place it next to the bed and put my most valuable stuff inside the locker.

Clean and comfortable

Very clean, comfortable, the staff was pretty nice, the ladies serving the breakfast... I really enjoyed being welcomed with a sweet smile. I personally liked the way they serve the breakfast, no waste of food and also nobody talking over the food and liberating saliva on it. I usually wake up very early to be the first to have breakfast exactly to avoid that and there were all clean and well organized. So there you can wake up a bit later. I'll go back for sure.

There were no money at the Multibanco. But I could find another place. No problem.

Everything well organized and clean, big common areas.

For someone tall (>1,60) will be really uncomfortable to be in the first bunk bed because the space with the one above is ~80cm, so ask for the one in the top!

Superb

The receptionist was very kind. There are a lot of facilities and the common areas are very clean and beautiful. The room is clean, modern, well furnished.

Maybe breakfast could have more options.

Maybe the best IH hostel in Northern Portugal

The place is new, well kept, clean and very inexpensive. it is located close to the historical center. it has a restaurant inside with good food at fair price. I came for two days and stay a week.
