Sehens- und erlebenswerte Ausnahme, interssant und individuell gestaltete Räume und top sauber.

Excellent Hotel - a special place

We really enjoyed our stay at the Church Hotel - an extravagant hotel. Staying in a former church is a special and unforgettable experience. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Another highlight was the rich and exquisite breakfast. The Church Hotel is highly recommended.

The staff in bar area were very difficult, they wouldnt serve us food/snacks even though it was on bar menu. We were told that the bar didn’t close but it did every night.

Schönes Hotel, ausbaufähige Beschreibung der Zimmer.

Wunderschönes Ambiente im Frühstückssaal/Restaurant/ Kirchenschiff des Hotels. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück wurde an den Tisch gebracht, es gab kein Büfett, war aber lecker. Das Bett war bequem.

Die Toilette war im Zimmer nur von einer kleinen Trennwand vom Bett getrennt. Äußerst unangenehm . In der Beschreibung von Booking.com stand für den Romantic Room "eigenes Badezimmer, auf den Bilder sah man dass eine Badewanne im Zimmer steht aber nicht die Toilette. Ich hätte das so, für den Preis nicht gebucht. Ich glaube das sollte in der Beschreibung UNBEDINGT geändert werden. Das Frühstück war am ersten Tag lecker, am 2. Tag hätte ich mir eine kleine Variante gewünscht und nicht genau das gleiche wie am Vortag. Alles in allem ist es aber ein schönes Hotel, ich hätte mir aber für den Preis eine Toilette in einem extra Raum gewünscht.

In één woord: fantastische en zeer bijzondere locatie om “nooit te vergeten”

Zeer bijzondere locatie in kerk. Toch alle moderne faciliteiten. Geluidsstille slaapkamer. Fantastisch ontbeten in de kerk. Parkeergarage om de hoek.

Eten formidabele! Kamers geen aanrader!

Het eten van het restaurant was geweldig: Haute cuisine. Ook het ontbijt was super!

De kamer was niet fijn: wij hadden een kamer toebedeeld voor gehandicapten. Waarom is onduidelijk. De kamer was 1 ruimte met open toilet en douche. Niet fijn! Kamer was koud en de vloerbedekking vies en oud.

Das Frühstück war lecker, aber auch recht teuer . Das Ambiente des Hotels und die Lage war prima.

Eine außergewöhnliche Übernachtung mit geschichtlichem Hintergrund in einer interessanten Stadt.

Alles war super. Vor allem das besondere Ambiente der alten Kirche.

Bijzondere locatie. Ontbijten in de kerkzaal. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk bed, kleine kamer maar dat hindert niet. Gratis koffie op de gang. Zeer dichtbij centrum en eetgelegenheden om de hoek.

Kamers hebben geen mogelijkheid tot ventilatie. Kan geen raam open dus bedompt wakker geworden. Geen afscheiding van de badkamer naar slaapkamer dus je moet je niet schamen voor je slaapgenoot, douchen en toileteren met toeschouwer. Koffie op de gang en niet in de kamer.

Ein außergewöhnliches Hotel

Es ist ein außergewöhnliches Hotel. Die Zimmer und die Bar/das Restaurant sind toll in den Kirchenbau integriert.

Leider waren Bar und Restaurant zu unserem Aufenthalt geschlossen. Frühstück wurde leider auch nicht angeboten. Wir waren wahrscheinlich zur falschen Zeit dort.

Super verblijf

Schitterende oude gemoderniseerde kerk. Prachtig van binnen en je kijkt je ogen uit. De kamer was top! Heerlijk bed en bad. Ontbijt Heerlijk! Fijn personeel ook.

Die Lage in der Seitenstraße auch nicht ganz so toll, würde das Hotel nicht nochmal nehmen.

een etappe op een fietsreis doorheen Gelderland en de Veluwe.

De ontvangst was bijzonder vriendelijk, onze fietsen hadden veilige standplaats, de locatie is zeer centraal in Arnhem. Het was voor de eerste keer dat we in een oude kerk logeerden.

Ik ben wat ontgoocheld over het hele decor: de ruimte kerk verdween door de in de hoogte hangende kamers. Het ontbijt is te prijzig (19,50) voor wat het is. Ik had toch vers fruitsap verwacht, en de mogelijkheid om een spiegelei met bacon te bestellen. Gek genoeg is de prijs van de drankenkaart aan de lage kant: ik nam 's avonds een Jack Daniels on the rocks voor 7,5 €.

Beautiful converted-church hotel, with well-designed and comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, and lots of attention was paid to the details. We slept great in the bed, and the breakfast was truly one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. I felt that the owners really put a lot of heart into the hotel and its design, as it was a lovely mix of traditional and modern. The bed, which had been made from a church pew, was absolutely lovely to look at and very comfortable. All in all, we loved our stay and would definitely come back again.

As I said, we'd definitely come back and loved our stay. The few things below are pointers for the future and for those considering booking at the hotel: 1) The room is entirely open, which includes the toilet. My husband and I are luckily very comfortable with each other, but it is still a bit too intimate for a shared hotel room. 2) The concrete floors meant that we heard muffled thumping every now and then, as we had people staying above us. Nothing too worrying at all, but good to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.

Zalig weekend uit in fantastische ambiance en top eten en wijnen!

Het is echt een weekendje weg, avondvullend en in goede sfeer heerlijk gegeten! Zondag uitgeslapen en genoten van een goed verzorgde champagne brunch.

Super genoten en alles beviel, maar als opbouwende tip: biedt extra kussens aan voor op bed en de badkamer/ toilet was heel krap.

A little bit of heaven on earth!

The hotel is very unique and fun. The staff is GREAT. And they go way beyond expectations.

Unique stay in a great location

The location was within walking distance to the city central. It was a beautiful building sympathetically adapted to include the bedroom pods. Breakfast was hearty and staff were lovely and always accommodating.

Definitely some of the best food I have tasted in fabulously quirky surroundings.

The Church is in a great city location. Superb repurposing of an old Church building giving it new life as an hotel and fabulous eatery. Eating in the restaurant really was ‘Heaven for your senses’ enjoying spectacular food in the midst of a fantastic theatrical performance. Can’t recommend it enough.
