Further on is the magnificent Bolt Head and then to Bolberry down and the Port Light Hotel.

This modern family house looks down on the Salcombe estuary toward East-Portlemouth and the wonderful sandy beaches on the eastern side of the estuary. This shore can be reached by ferry from Salcombe. (10 min walk) You can walk to the sea from here and along the coastal footpath to Prawl Point.

Bigbury Island a short drive up the coast is a favorite spot to for wind and kite-surfers. There is also a celebrated walk around the Avon valley from here.

The South Hams has a feast of fine villages overflowing with fine scenery and taverns to suit all. Come and explore.

A surprisingly big house, with a well equipped kitchen, two great bathrooms, and three well sized bedrooms. Only minus point was the noise the shower pump made, but

We enjoyed the view from the house and the spacious accommodation. We had a lovely time exploring the town and the surrounding areas. One thing to consider a walk back from the coop is a bit steep so I would advise to rent an electric bike. Overall we had a lovely time and would like to go back to Salcombe area next year
