Great location, wonderful views and enough space for 3 couples to enjoy. Spick and span throughout. A great find and there isvjust so much to enjoy in Salcombe.
Dont miss the NT gardens at Overbeck.

A surprisingly big house, with a well equipped kitchen, two great bathrooms, and three well sized bedrooms. Only minus point was the noise the shower pump made, but

Nice place with good views over the estuary

We enjoyed the view from the house and the spacious accommodation. We had a lovely time exploring the town and the surrounding areas. One thing to consider a walk back from the coop is a bit steep so I would advise to rent an electric bike. Overall we had a lovely time and would like to go back to Salcombe area next year

I and my daughter and her family stayed as we were attending my son's wedding .
A fully equipped kitchen , every single item you can imagine! Lounge with lovely views over te Estuary. The sun room also very pleasant to sit in. Comfortable beds and good sized rooms. The Master bedroom was huge with ensuite bath and shower . My only concern was the steep steps that run up the side of the house to a sun terrace and a small garden. Young children would be very tempted and a fall would be very painful. Not ideal for elderly people. Overall very good base for a good holiday.

A good base from which to enjoy Salcombe
A spacious, comfortable, well equipped property. Well located between North Sands, and the town. Bit of an uphill walk back from the beach, but 5 mins from a Spar which is useful for food top ups.

We had a great stay at OverRia. We stayed with our 1 year old and for us the location was perfect. Town was a short walk away in the morning for a coffee and a stroll. Ferry over to East Portlemouth is close by. In the other direction are North and South Sands beaches which we cycled to but the ride is not for the faint hearted, very hilly! All the beaches in the area are stunning and this house is bang in the middle of all of them. You can eat on the front terrace and watch the boats coming in and out of the estuary. The road outside the house is very quiet so does not interrupt the view.
Communication from the host was excellent and check in very smooth.
The house is very well equipped, has all cleaning equipment and also outside chairs, iron, clothes airers etc. Kitchen has everything you need.
My only criticism is the same as a previous review; the house is clean enough but needs a more thorough once-over every now and then. There are cobwebs round the windows, light fittings etc. There are dead woodlice around the corners of the rooms. The windows are dirty and there are piles and piles of leaves up the stairs in the garden. None of this happens overnight and would make a massive difference to first impressions if addressed. All very quick fixes.
The house is dated and with a makeover would look fantastic.
However, despite these small criticisms I would definitely stay here again. As long as you have reasonable expectations as to what you are getting and don’t expect a palace, it is very good value for money. The house is spacious, big bedrooms (main one is massive) amazing views and perfect location, very happy!

Great Location in sunny Salcombe
We had a great 3 days staying at the property enjoying some late summer sun. The view from the property overlooked the beautiful Salcombe estuary, Inside the property was well furnished and off road parking is a real bonus in this busy town.

Family Holiday
All aspects regarding the renting of the property were excellent, including a lovely bottle or prosecco upon our arrival. Communication was good and information about the area easily at hand.
We would have liked the property to have had a better clean: toe nail clippings were trodden on in one of the bedrooms by one of our girls, dead wood lice on the edges of the carpet and spider webs around the wiindows all could have been addressed...maybe even the windows cleaned.
This did not detract from the fact we had a lovely time staying here. We all enjoyed South Devon.
Thanks

Stunning Location
A well equipped spacious property. Two good sized bathrooms and a decent sized lounge/dinning space along with the 3 bedrooms and Kitchen.
Fantastic location overlooking the Ria. A pleasant walk into the attractive small town of Salcombe and an ideal base for walking along the South Devon Coastal Path.

Over Ria
Well maintained, comfortable, practical holiday working space, owner very helpful and good location with nice but limited views. Quiet end of the village, not too many sea guls.

A Fantastic Week in beautiful Salcombe
We have just returned from a weeks holiday at OverRia.The house is very well equipped and comfortable - the kitchen having everything you could possibly require. The house is a 10 minute walk from Salcombe and a reasonable walk to North sands beach in the other direction. There are some beautiful coastal walks in easy reach from the house by car or ferry. The house is situation above the estuary so there is an uphill climb on the return.

Relaxing break in a lovely family house with sea views
We had a wonderful relaxing long weekend in this house. It was spacious for just four of us as it has three good sized bedrooms. We had breakfast on the sunny terrace each morning, overlooking Mill Bay through the trees! We walked everywhere and didn't use the car, which was such a treat. We would definitely stay again.

Spacious and well kitted out.
A very happy family holiday. We loved the view. Walked everywhere from the house and didn't need the car all week.
