John was an absolute gem of a host. The place was immaculate and exactly as described. He made sure we knew where we were and what amenities were around. Anytime I contacted him for general questions, he got back to me immediately - even though he was out of the country! I would 10/10 stay here again, and also recommend this listing to all my friends. This was an awesome place. Spectacular views, central to everything you could ever want, incredible host. John was so very helpful - we had a phone call right when I arrived and he oriented me to everything so i knew where to walk. The apartment is beautifully designed - bed was super comfortable, and i loved the big tub and spacious primary bathroom. My only suggestion is to have John tell you where to park. The valet in the building is super expensive ($42.00 for 24 hours) and a little chaotic - but there is a garage about 2 blocks away that is only $15.00. I will definitel stay again!

Host was late for check-in, wasted one day there. Listing is not accurate. Apparent is very small, definitely not big enough for 6 people. No 5 pools, nor 15 sq foot apartment neither 10acers resort. And the host is the biggest liar. Don't waste your money or time, rent from someone else.

We visit Miami often but have never stayed downtown. Brickell offers a lot to see and do. John the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He helped make our stay memorable. Apartment was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the water views from the apartment. Would highly recommend.

John is the ultimate host. Met us at check-in. Provided us a detailed description of the unit and the surrounding area. Answered all our questions quickly throughout our stay via text. The apartment is extremely clean, feels like a luxury hotel suite. Minimalist in the right way, not cluttered. The location could not be better. Easy walking distance to the best restaurants, live theatre, museums, night life. Great views abound. Fun watching boats coming and going up the Miami river with views out to Biscayne Bay. Highly recommend. This will be our "go to" spot for Miami.

The owner and the unit itself are superb. The location and view from the unit is amazing. The owner was very communicative and helpful by providing and helping us with information regarding the local spots and where to go for what. I felt right at home! I would stay here again!

This listing is substantially different in reality from what is described.. The property is MATERIALLY MISREPRESENTED. Specifically, the property has two beds joined together in bedroom 1 to create the appearance of a “king,” and bedroom 2 has one bed, NOT a queen bed and sofa-futon as described in the listing. Other reviews have said the same thing. Unfortunately, we relied on VRBO ranking this host as a “premier host” and did not read through all the reviews. I am sure the host/owner will reply with excuses, but the facts speak for themselves. @VRBO - live up to your promise to travelers and investigate this host and property

Thank you John and your property manager we had a very good vacation. My kids loved watching the draw bridge we even saw a manatee in the channel from our room. Our kids brought scooters and we explored Bayside and City Center. Pool is wonderful.

Great views and layout of the unit. The kitchen lacked most of the basics and what was there probably needed to be replaced. Host was great and the property and amenities were also great.

All the negative reviews on this are completely accurate. The check in process was horrible. Told us they would meet us at 2 and we waited over an hour…. then we went to checkout we needed to make a flight so we offered to meet them early and they showed up 40 minutes late making us miss our flights and Ubers. Very unprofessional and unorganized. The unit itself was not clean when we got there and the sheets/towels were dirty. Not only that there was damage to the bed, couch and tables…he’s too cheap to update the unit. I’ve stayed in a lot VRBOs but I have not been in a worse one. Out of all the units in the ICON this is not one you should stay in. The owner will try to say whatever he wants to make this sound not as bad but it truly is a waste of money to stay here.

This property did not look as listed on VRBO! This condo does not sleep 7 guest, not even 5 guest. The pics on the web makes the property look much larger than it is. This condo was dirty and dusty. We had to buy cleaning products to clean floors, and bathrooms. The owner had several broken items in this condo. The TV in master bedroom wasn’t working for 2 days. We had to call owner to come fix it... this was not the idea rental.

The condo is not designed for more than 2 couples. We were 3 couples because the listing says that it can sleep 7. It’s in a great location close to everything. It looked clean at first sight but not immaculate. The owner has to do the check in-out in person and her had us waiting for check- in and check -out. Overall it was not great for the price we paid.

Great location. We love Brickell. John was excellent to work with and very friendly. Many of the amenities were closed for Covid, but we will had a blast on the property. The pool is fantastic! Best of both worlds with the privacy of the condo and the amenities of a hotel.Condo was well equipped.
