Great location. Uncomfortable property that could have been cleaner.

Having lived in Broadstairs for many years, I knew the location would be great, noisy at the weekends, as it is located by the three pub triangle, but everything is at your doorstep.

I was given the incorrect code for the key safe. I called the owner, who contacted the woman in the shop downstairs from the flat, who put in a different (correct) code she had been given. I texted the owner back to let her know I was in and hadn't been given the correct code, but received no reply, let alone an apology. I had tried for half an hour and was late for things as a consequence. The flat was clean on the surface, but I bought some cleaning wipes to give it a once over. The only place to throw bins out is located in the green square along Albion street. In the instructions, it said to empty the bins into the black bin in the car park behind the property. This is a council bin, so not really recommended. The flat overall is fine, but the two sets of stairs are quite steep. I found it quite expensive, but understand that I was paying for the location and the month of August peak time.

No free parking on site!

It was close to the beach and centre of town.

No parking, we parked a short distance away. The adjacent carpark which was pay & display was expensive 13.50 for an overnight stay. Managed to find parking near the beach front during all of our stay but in peak times this might become a problem

Good

Lovely bright top floor with sea views, kitchen facilities great & comfy bed. Location easy walking distance to everything.

Due to been on the main high street exceptionally noisy during evenings until early hours & little privacy.

i had visits from my daughter and granddaughter and a friend - had lots of walks and a fair amount of sunshine for this

lovely and bright with a lovely view of the sea over the fascinating roofs of the old Broadstairs town. Right in the thick of good restaurants, micro and maxi pubs, a minute from the high street and 30 seconds from the sea front

difficult stairs but do-able for able bodied.

A property has potential and could be sooooo much better!

Great location A very quaint place to stay.

Noisy at night. clubs and bars very close. Music playing 3 am. Decor is tired needs refresh. Needs double or triple glazed windows. very cold down near front door. Cannot read thermostat light bulbs need changing. Needs a light in entrance vestibule. Dark. Needs a curtain across the under stairs cupboard.

Good

The fact that you can see the beach and its walking distance, but everything is local and people are friendly.

The noise from the bar late at night was annoying. Property could be brightened up and cleaned walls. Stairs on entrance have a weird old musty smell. Also mattress is soft which gave us bad backs,. Sofa was basic, not comfy either and dirty fabric and cushions.

Enjoyable with good facilities in the town and coastal walks

Location was good, near shops, beach, restaurants etc but because of this it was extremely noisy with loud music in nearby pubs and an event party next door on Thursday, Friday and Saturday until about 1am. There was a warning about being a lively high street in the centre of town but we weren’t prepared for such noise going on until well after midnight.

Wrong key code sent to access the key safe. Had to ring the owners to get the correct code for the key safe. They were very helpful but it was stressful until the key code was supplied.

Not sure when it was last cleaned , take ear plugs.

It takes pets , Broadstairs is a lovely place. Sea view great. Loved the Friday night late pub / night club almost attached ! The music was brilliantly loud till gone 2 am. All just outside your window.

Windows (on the inside) were filthy .outside ones are hard to clean at the sea side. The floor made your socks go black , they needed mopping. Cleaning stuff , sheets etc shoved under the stairs not great. It needs paint soon. I am aware of the mention of it being on the busy high street , but the Friday night club/late pub too much ! Piles of dust under the settee. It was dirty .(sorry we did add to it with sand from the truly great beaches) We love Broadstairs and have stayed many times , decorating needs attention!

Central location, good comfortable well equipped apartment that suited our needs. Very comfortable bed.

Clean duvet cover, sheets and pillow cases put on dirty stained duvet and pillows. The walls in the bedroom are stained and seem a bit grubby.

Proximity to amenities

Wasn’t very clean. Had to move a little side table and all the skirting and floor was covered in dust and pubes. Upon taking the window blind up there were quite a few cob webs. The shower still had hairs in it from the last person.

Beautiful short break by the sea

Fabulous location, just back from the beach with paid parking nearby. Loved the fact the apartment was split level and had great furnishings and the things you need like hairdryer and iron/ironing board.

Was a bit dusty in places but we were a very last minute booking and there may have been a gap between lettings. It is clear it is a much loved apartment and as we left the cleaner was going in to clean for the next booking so I'm in no doubt it was sparkling for the next guests, can't wait to return.

We can thoroughly recommend this gem of a place in the heart of Broadstairs, it’s close to everything and a great base that’s close to a number of attractions. Clean well equipped apartment, good bed and a lovely shower, the owners very helpful and quick to respond at all times. We can’t recommend this property enough

Fantastically located Broadstairs apartment

The apartment is in the thick of things in Broadstairs, with views of the sea from the living room. The smart TV and internet all worked well and the kitchen had all we needed. It’s comfy, well-furnished and communication with the owner was excellent.

We couldn’t get the shower to warm up! This was probably me…
