Nice little hideaway close to everything in Mt Shasta City. We liked the big windows and the loft set-up. It's a cozy place with a full kitchen and comfy living room. The bathroom was a little worn down with a dirty shower curtain, and the bed was squeaky, but these were minor things.

Nice studio with an abundance of towels and paper products. Did not use anything in kitchen so I’m not sure how it was stocked. There is no air conditioning which is not in the listing but is in the email you receive after you book. We left a day early due to heat. Host does not use vrbo platform so watch for emails from Evolve.

Perfect location and a really nice little studio. It was a perfect base for my husband and I to do some remote work and get some outdoorsy fun in.

This location is perfect, walking distance to main street with great restaurants. Cabin had all the necessities for the kitchen which comes in real handy. Would I stay again? Absolutely!

We had a great time in the studio and thought it was very try cozy and homey :) You cannot beat the location and parking situation!Just be aware that the wifi connection is slow, so finish up your remote work prior to going or skip streaming unless you stream off of your phone (if that connection is better).

We have spent a long weekend at this studio while skiing at Shasta Ski Park. It provided everything that we needed at a reasonable price: easy access, walking distance to downtown, quiet place to sleep, parking, kitchen to cook our own meals. We greatly appreciated that the owner was open to bringing our children to a place that officially only sleeps 2. In fact there is a little bonus room where the could set up their sleeping bags and have their 'nest'. While this studio is functional and clean, I do have to say it is a little older than it looks from the photographs. But then, it is very affordable and that is what counts.

This loft is just as pictured...very cozy with full kitchen etc. The location is great for walking to town and is in a quiet neighborhood. Communication with host was very good. We loved it! Highly recommend.

House was clean, had a lovely large supply of linens, and the kitchen had the basics for reheating and small cooking tasks. The bed was very comfortable.

Cozy and Relaxing
A very cozy, relaxing loft apartment. Close walking distance to the heart of town, I even got to visit the Monday afternoon Farmer's market and hear some music. Although, I really enjoyed my time staying in as well. A solid collection of DVD's and games (of both the video and tabletop variety), an essential oil diffuser, a tea kettle, and more helped me settle in comfortably. While I didn't use them during my stay, they even had a pair of yoga mats available. Sleeping in the queen bed up in the loft was extremely cozy. The bathroom was spacious and clean and the shower/bath combo was nice. I hope for another opportunity to stay here again in the future.

Sweet. Just as described.
All of the logistics were simple and smooth. The property from space to location were as expected from listing. We did not bring the 4-yr-old this time, but I appreciated the kid friendliness/thoughtfulness — toys, games, small chairs, carpeted stairs— it would be easy to have a little one there. We enjoyed walking to downtown and driving easily to hike. It was a great value, no surprises and no complaints!

This place was great. Quite close to everything. Small but didn’t feel small. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful cabin like loft
We loved this pine lined cabin like loft apartment. Nice location in Mount Shasta right around the corner from the main street . The ac was lovely in the heat of summer and we enjoyed the porch with the Sequoia trees out front. Very comfortable and homey, we will look to stay here again in the future. Thank you!

Great Place
The studio was awesome. The kitchen is well stocked. The bed is in a loft, accessible by stairs. The bed was just fine. I asked before we booked and was told it was updated, so I think the bed complaints are now a thing of the past. The ceilings are really tall and there's windows all the way up on the west side with blinds for night time privacy. The place really lights up during the day. Private parking. Two block from the center of town. A view of the mountain from the street. Our new go-to place for Mt Shasta City.

Experience
The bed was awful it caved in the middle I hardly slept in the 3 days we were there. The place was clean but there was a lot of bugs flying around, I believe it was carpet bugs which is a type of beetle, I couldn't find where they were coming from. The bugs kept distracting us while we tried to watch TV at night. The bath tub didn't look to great so I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower. Great location though, it was close to everything and it was nicely decorated which felt like home. I would reccomend this place though, if they fixed those couple things it would be a perfect stay. Great layout and smelt nice inside.

Amazing Stay! Loved it! Will return :)
We had a fantastic time at this lovely, comfortable cabin studio. It was just right for a snuggle-up stay for two. Our host was prompt, kind and responsive. We highly recommend this property to anyone.
Let the adventures continue!

Cozy
Easy to find and very cute and cozy. TV has a Roku so you can sign in to your video streaming service. We had to keep switching the batteries on the remotes though; one of remotes had no batteries. Internet worked just fine. Close to town. Only potential concern is the cleanliness of the shower. There is dirt on the very top where the shower meets the wall. I see on previous comments there was mention of no microwave and the bed was uncomfortable. These two items have been added/corrected. You can hear the train, but I didn't mind. It was a beautiful little place and I would love to stay there again next time I'm up in that area. I would recommend adding mini soap/shampoo bottles in the shower.

Dirty
The rug is filthy, toilet and stove oven drip pans and hood were also dirty
But the bathtub was worse with built up crud and a badly repaired patch job on the tub, and 3 long dark hairs, which were not mine !!Too bad, I won't be recommending this place to anyone!

Cute place, but needs work.
This is a cute and cozy little studio that is close to the shops and restaurants in town. It doesn't look like it from the outside, but once you're inside, it's adorable. There are a few issues that could be fixed to make it really special. The mattress may be the worst I've ever slept on. It feels like just a block of foam with a worn-out indentation in the middle. We tossed and turned, trying to get comfortable, and always ended up in the center, miserable. "New" or not, it is a torture device, and needs to be replaced. Fully half of the blinds are not adjustable, due to the adjusting rods being broken or missing. The fluorescent light above the sink is missing it's bulb, and there was no soap anywhere in the place. With some work and a little money spent, this could be a great place.

Very cute. Perfect for two people.
Was surprised that there was no microwave. Was also surprised that bar soap or shampoo was not provided. Overall, the property was a perfect little room for my husband and me.

Stay was okay but bed not so much
Generally, we had an okay stay here. It is an old unit and some things were dated but certainly usable and generally clean. We can put up with a lot and don't require luxury but what really would make us hesitate staying here again was that the mattress is totally worn out. The problem is that there is a significant sag in the middle, so no matter how hard my wife and I tried to stay on our sides of the bed we ended up rolling into each other in the middle. After and hour or two of struggling and not sleeping on our first night's stay, I got out of the bed and slept on the floor. This problem was later remedied by taking some of the throw pillows off the couch and putting them under the mattress in the middle. Not and ideal fix but helped a lot. I would have called the property manager but doubted he would have provided us with a new mattress on a moment's notice. The pillows were huge and difficult to sleep on and the bed sheets thin.
The unit does not have a microwave which would have been convenient. Also, the pots and pans didn't have lids so cooking was not easy.
Otherwise, the building itself was quiet although the train at night rolls through town several times in the middle of the night blowing it's whistle and is VERY LOUD. Ear plugs don't help much.

studio with loft
While we did enjoy our stay in Mt Shasta, we probably would not return to this rental for the following reasons. The rental is a mere 2 blocks from the I-5 freeway. Even with the windows closed you can always hear the freeway. We like windows open so found the noise annoying. The bed sags in the middle. We made do by placing a folded blanket down the middle. The kitchen is too sparsely furnished and had no microwave. There was no bulb in the light over the sink. The carpet badly needed shampooing. The steps to the deck and the deck are a very sad presentation to the place. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay, but would not choose to stay here again.

Wanted to enjoy this place but, just too many negative issues
Encountered:
-Ants all over kitchen
-2 of 4 burners on kitchen stove did not work
-food crumbs in cabinets and drawers
-frayed, shoddy living room upholstery
-no hangers in closet
-no hair dryer
-cute loft with horrible bed...like a hammock which tumbled 2 bodies to its center...made for 2 VERY uncomfortable nights
What a shame, this place could be nice if someone cared and gave attention to simple details such as the above, at minimum.

Very nice and cozy place minutes from downtown Mt Shasta
My fiancé and I went up to Mt Shasta for a long weekend and we both haven’t been in that direction in a very long time. The place was very nice and cozy. We both liked the bed on the loft area.
We also went up to the Ashland Oregon area only about an hour and 15 minutes from Mt Shasta. Very fun weekend and we can’t wait to go back!

Very nice and cozy studio
I stayed with my partner for a weekend, it was very clean and cozy. And walking distance to downtown, which was really nice. I would definitely stay here again. Also recommendation: put something cozy like pillows or an alter space in that random side attic room :)
