Welcome to our humble yet tidy 3-bedroom upstairs in the Legacy Villas at La Quinta! What makes our villa different? Unlike most villas in Legacy, there is no villa directly opposite of ours (hello, neighbor!), allowing an OPEN VIEW of palm trees, the Coachella valley, and surrounding Santa Rosa mountains. Facing away from the busier community-shared pathways and parking lots, our breezy upstairs balconies overlook a semi-private "front yard", and enjoy just a little more freedom from Legacy's densely-packed villa community. The villa is also conveniently located by the front fountain and guard gate, just steps from the Legacy Villas clubhouse and main pool area.

Woof! This unit welcomes up to two (2) dogs per booking. There is an easy walking trail next to the Santa Rosa foothills, which goes around the perimeter of the community (but keep an eye out for rattlesnakes). Downtown La Quinta boasts pet-friendly coffee shops and cafes. There is also doggie daycare and doggie wash services in town. Please note, however, that the HOA does not allow pets inside the gates of the pool areas. Max weight of 30 pounds per pet.

Very clean, close to the pools. Legacy Villas has a good mix of adult and kids’ pools. Villas are really well constructed so neighbors’ sounds do not travel at all. The complex is especially fun when the Legacy Grill is open - food and service are great. Lovely grounds for walking, with flowers and fountains everywhere. I always felt completely safe. Nice combination of home stay and resort feel.

Had a great time here. it was a good amount of space for 5 adults and one toddler. I would not recommend using the pull out couch as a bed as it was not very comfortable. The location was great and it was close to the main entrance, main pool and kiddy pool and a quiet pool. Only drawback to location was it was close to the main road which was loud at night if doors and windows were open. This place had good amenities and we were happy to have use of the washing machine. There’s a restriction on AC temperature so we found it warmer than we would have liked. The legacy complex is very nice and well maintained. It is very close to grocery stores, playgrounds and walking trails. The room needs a bit of an update with bed sheets and shower drains. There were lots of bath and beach towels to use which was great. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the place to friends.

Beautiful resort with impeccable grounds. The rental unit was very nice, a bit worn and not as clean as expected. Dishwasher had a loud squeak every time it is opened or closed, one of the beds squeaked every time you moved, pillows in all the beds were uncomfortable, cooking pots & storage containers were mediocre. Overall the unit accommodated us well as we had 2 master bedrooms with kings & 3rd bedroom with a queen. All rooms had tv's which is nice. Insuite laundry was great. Our unit was well stocked with most everything we needed. Lots of towels which came in handy. Liked the unit's keyless entry & gated complex. Our view was lovely, lots of palm trees & mountains. Nice patios. Really loved the location, across from main pool with beach entry for the kids.

This is a great condo for group trips. We were here for the Coachella music festival and we were happy with our staying. The only thing I want to criticize about is the bed sheets on the sofa bed was not clean. The cleaning crew forgot to clean it after the former guest. Besides that, the management team is very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay here. Our host provided us with detailed information for a smooth check-in, ease in finding our unit, and all aspects of our stay. The layout of the unit was perfect for our group, two couples and one single (could have been another couple). The unit was very clean and well-stocked.
We did have two vehicles and an assigned space is available for only one, but there was enough unassigned parking that this was not an issue.
We didn't utilize the rest of the property, but it was very pretty, and the gate staff was and other personnel were friendly. It would have been absolutely perfect if the property had tennis courts, but that is just us (and we knew when we booked that it did not).

We loved everything about our stay here! The check-in process was very smooth-so nice to receive an email in advance with instructions and a code for the door. The place was beautiful, beds were comfortable, and pool and other amenities were amazing. The kitchen was well-equipped,too. Great location-we enjoyed the nearby restaurants in La Quinta, as well as everything else the area has to offer.

Very well managed condo complex
This is my 4th time staying at Legacy Villa. It’s very secured and the grounds are beautiful with views of the mountains from every angle. The unit itself is very clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze and Skip was very responsive on all of my questions. Will definitely rent from Skip again.

Great Spot for Extended Family
This unit was spacious and clean and perfect for our three generations. We enjoyed the layout and proximity to the clubhouse pool. The distant views from the decks were beautiful. This unit is on the outside edge of the resort so you hear some noise from traffic and from the entry gate when you are on the decks. That was a surprise but we quickly got used to it and the views were worth it. Skip is the ideal property manager. Always available, efficient and accommodating. We hope to stay here again when the grandchildren join us.

Relaxing and beautiful
The condo was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate over the holidays. The condo was clean, well appointed, and the soaking tub was the best feature. Despite the cool weather we enjoyed the heated pools, hot tub, and venturing to many different tourist destinations during our stay. Bear creek was a gem of a hiking spot about 10 minutes away. The town of La Quinta is very cute with some great food options.

Enjoyable
We really enjoyed ourselves at Skips place. First of all I want to thank Skip for being very attentive by responding promptly to my every questions and request. The community is no doubt adorable and safe enough for my kids to roam around, swim, play at the hammock area and just run around. Me and my dogs love the hiking trail behind the villas just a few steps from the condo and my husband and brother enjoyed all the golf courses near by. It’s gated with guard checking every car and guards roaming the community itself. Skips place is on the upper level with beautiful views of the entry to the community and mountains. I love the two master suits on both ends giving complete privacy for me and my husband and my brother and his wife at the other end while our kids share the middle room. I would have given a five star but there are a few things lacking in the home. Kitchen amenities were very limited and need upgrading such as utensils, cook wears, and cups. We love to cook and having a well stocked kitchen is important. Other items such as tv issues, iron, and dishwasher were also addressed quickly but could have been great if all were checked prior to renters entering the home. Other then that it’s a great vacation home, and you will enjoy it. I know we did. Thank Skip

Short Fam Trip
We had a great time at Legacy Villas and will definitely be back! We came Sun- Wed for a little getaway and had a very relaxing and fun time. The place was big and accommodated our party of 8. We mainly enjoyed heading out to the pools, which were open and great for the kids. The gym was closed due to the covid restrictions and outside our control. The condo was clean and had everything we needed.

We loved Skips place! The property is close to numerous stores. Loved the little trail around the property. Swimming pools are close to the apartment and are very spacious. The two master suites are beautiful. The kitchen is stocked well enough for a family of 6 to be comfortable. The apartment was clean and roomy. I do recommend and will gladly stay again. Thank you!

We’ve stayed at Legacy many times and have always had a great experience, until now. Unfortunately this unit was a disappointment. Neither the heat nor fireplace were working in master bedroom and kids room. Nights were very cold and we had to bundle up to sleep. While property manager was responsive, it took 2 days to get it up and running again. Sink was unusable in bathroom do to clog. Again, property manager fixed it within two days, but this home definitely needs some TLC. Recommend Legacy Villas 100% but there are much better units for the price. Don’t recommend staying here.

The property and the grounds of the complex were very well taken care of and clean. The condo had everything we needed. Skip, our property manager was very easy to get a hold of and very attentive. We would definitely stay here again.
