The manor house Groß Markow is also called 'manor house' or 'castle' and is located in the beautiful 'Mecklenburg Switzerland' in quiet and rural surroundings on the outskirts of the village. It is surrounded by 15,000 square metres of park-like natural grounds with tall, sometimes rare trees. The manor house has a long history as the elegant centre of former noble families. It was built in the classicist style and has an imposing entrance area. The manor house can accommodate up to 36 people and is therefore ideal for group holidays.
To the side of the house is a covered terrace with a barbecue area. Here you can get together with the whole family. An indoor swimming pool (32 m²). Whirlpool, billiard room, cigar room, table football and table tennis are available. In the basement there is a club room and a large kitchen. 19 bedrooms (including 2 single rooms) are spread over three floors. There are 1-2 bathrooms and WCs on each floor. There is also a tea room and a beautiful library room.
A large hall is available on the lower floor for celebrations. Here you can hold meetings and festive banquets. The manor house is also ideal as a wedding venue. A beautiful neo-Gothic church is available in the village for your wedding ceremony. Afterwards, you can celebrate your wedding in the holiday home in a very private setting.
A forest path leads from the manor house into the countryside and it is only ten minutes by car to the Techow golf course. An 18-hole championship course awaits the golf pro. The manor house is a listed historical monument. It is ideal for holidays for several families, for beautiful festivities or for clubs and events on a smaller individual scale.
The manor house has a separate entrance and a ramp, making the lower floor handicapped accessible with access to the hall, tea room, bathroom and bedroom.
