Charmant hôtel au calme

Hôtel très sympathique proche de la plage au calme. La chambre est très agréable et très propre. Le plus c’est le petit déjeuner très copieux et excellent.

Die Lage und die Sauberkeit war sehr gut. Auch das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr hilfreich und war sehr international, konnte somit fast alle Sprachen abdecken.

Superb

The breakfast was magnificent with many options. The staff, Menelaos, Martha, Mike and the lady who cleans are one of a kind. The hospitality was beyond our expectations. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect.

The size of the balcony and maybe more kitchenette supplies.

Lovely hotel in quiet location

Lovely location on pebble beach side of Paleochora. Clean and comfortable rooms. Fab breakfast at Votsalo

A perfect stay, good beds - very clean rooms, lovely view and location, very good breakfast

The breakfast was perfect as we could choose from the menue. The staff were so nice and friendly, giving top service and made us feel very welcome.

We spent our holidays at Oriental bay with two children. Staff was super friendly and the place was clean and quiet just next to the beach. The breakfast was served in a 2' walk cafe' near the hotel and it was delicious. The best thing about the room was that it had 2 bathrooms with a shower each and a washing machine, which made it perfect when staying with small children.

Great value oasis in Paleochora with delicious breakfast

Just a lovely, clean, comfortable room with a big bed and great views from the balcony over the mountains and sea. The people running it couldn't be nicer and they're so relaxed - they let us check in early. The included breakfast they serve at Votsalo is delicious and filling and the restaurant is gorgeous - filled with flowers and overlooking the beach. Can't recommend them highly enough. Nice to be slightly on the edge of town as it's so quiet and peaceful.

Good comfortabe place with view

We stayed in a 3 bed room, with very pretty view of both mountains and sea. In this room you have sun on the balcony until 1-2 pm. It is quiet during night. Great location, very close to all the restaurants and the “center” but just far away enough to feel a bit more in nature. The breakfast in Votsalo cafe is very good with a lot to offer and our waiter Michaelis very nice - the owner and his family very helpful as well.

Nice shower but unfortunately no shower curtain so it’s difficult not to wet the floor and the toilet.

Lovely!

We absolutely love this place, the view from our amazing, always windy balcony, close to the beach - thank you for having us and for letting us check in early. Additionally - we had a great time and wonderful breakfasts at Votsalo with the best service.

Superb

breakfast was fantastic, we stayed on the upper floor, each floor has a different owner, breakfast was from the menu at Volstaro ( not sure of spelling). rooms are basic but super clean with a fridge and a balcony with crisp white sheets and towels dried in the sun, accross from the less popular pebble beach where we swam happily, slightly off the beaten track but quiet despite being over a lovely bright bar ( not the restaurant owned by our landlord but his family i think). felt off the beaten track but a short walk to everything

Great

The breakfast was excellent. The main host, Marta, was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We missed breakfast on one morning and without prompting she insisted on making up for it by providing us with a packed lunch. The location was very good. Seeing the sun rise in the morning and the full moon rise in the evening across the water will live long in the memory.

The room was a bit small. There was nobody to meet us when we arrived and the lad who came to assist us was perfunctory (though to be fair I accept we were just outside the advertised check in time). The breakfast place is a 2 minute walk from the room, which isn't necessarily a problem but is something people should be aware of.

Very good breakfast at the nearby cafe. We could select any available breakfast menu. Great view from the breakfast table. Different relaxing tables and seats available, on upper and lower terrace. Nice view to the sea, olive trees and mountains from the room. Very friendly, relaxed and helpful hosts. Thank you!

Quite obvious for oriental (east) side hotel: East side orientation, so morning sun, but no evening sun. So, as expected and not a problem.

Well above our expectations

Super roomy accommodation, well situated and great breakfast in restaurant next door. Had a rustic feel which we liked.

The room was ok and in a quiet place. The owner is so nice and the whole place is very laid back. The breakfast is PERFECT. It’s definitely best price performance.

Everything was ok, good wifi, great airconditioning, Staff was friendly. Martha at breakfast alays has a smile ready for you

There was noone to receive us at the agrred check-in time. an hour can be a ong time to wait when it's 37 degrees!

Lovely little place in nice location

Very clean and simple . Plenty of storage. Fridge and kettle included always nice to find.

Nothing, sure in high season it’s a buzzing little place. I stayed end of October so it was very quiet .

Value for money.

Great location for everything; beach, town, tavernas, walking. Good quality breakfast choices to suit all tastes and the portions were more than ample. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful too.

The bathroom was a bit cramped but couldn’t be helped due to the layout of the room.
