Very clean, very comfortable, nice big TV, great hot tub, nice location, lovely food at the G & Tea. Everything was spot on. Oh and great little dog activity area.
Nothing

The lodge was spotlessly clean and none of the furniture looked tired or out of date.
The layout was very good with the ku then being open, making it a sociable space.
The beds were extremely comfortable. The twin beds were normal bed size. Making them large enough for adults. The showers were powerful and hot. The lodge Was well
Stocked with equipment.
The lodge outside was private and also had some side shelters so when windy it was protected enough to go in.
I always prefer parking immediately outside the lodge. However, although our lodge did not have this, the car park was just a down a small path from the lodge.

Lovely cabins and views were amazing. Close to roseberry topping which we climbed on our stay. Area felt safe and quiet. Had a park and golf for kids.

The location is lovely. The park and facilities are quite good - especially for dog lovers. The hot tub and BBQ were clean and regularly but unobtrusively maintained. The lodge and indoor kitchen area and laundry facilities appeared well maintained and clean. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. There is no 24 hour reception, but staff responded in good time to messages left on the answerphone. Help with luggage was available if required. There appeared to be sufficient free parking for all the lodges and the restaurant. The food at the on-site restaurant was well presented and tastily cooked. The Wi-Fi worked well and was easy to access. Although lodges are available to buy - and there is a lot of information on-site for anyone interested in purchasing a lodge - there is no hard sell, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday without being hassled.
Booking is quite complicated and inflexible. There is no cancellation policy and only the basic dates are available online. Guests are asked to telephone about an extension to the online dates or to ask in person. Guests are also asked to telephone directly for some discounts. The only email address advertised says it is for restaurant bookings. Hopelessly clunky for the 21st century. There is also no weekend check-in. Check-ins are Monday or Friday. Unless you happen to live nearby, or have accommodating connections in the area, you would need to book overnight at another venue if you wanted to travel at the weekend. The on-site restaurant has a limited but tasty menu despite which, although the staff were helpful and friendly, both the staff and kitchen seemed overwhelmed. My order arrived incomplete and I overheard the table nearby saying their order was also incomplete. No one in the party had limited mobility so I can't comment on accessibility, but it might be worth noting that our lodge was only accessible by either of two very short flights of stairs. Because of the booking and check-in restrictions, I would really only wholeheartedly recommend the park to retired people travelling as an adult-only party or without children of school age - or to people looking for a mini-break starting on a Monday or a long weekend starting on a Friday. It's not a great option for a traditional family holiday for working people travelling any distance with or without school-age children or for anyone looking for a midweek mini-break.

This was a lovely, friendly holiday park, it was quiet and only a short drive from many areas of Yorkshire

The whole park was clean and tidy. All staff friendly. Lots of space for children to play and good walks nearby.
Felt homely and not at all like a business, like some sites. Lots of complimentary things given, free drink each at the G&T bar, BBQ equipment, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, milk.
Amazing place, cannot wait to stay again
BBQ took ages to get going, until we discovered the filter underneath hadn't been cleaned and was full of ash. Once we cleared the ash, the BBQ went like a dream

Very clean, very modern, staff were very friendly. The layout of the lodge was perfect. Privacy of the hot tub was great. Loved that the lodges are in the woods away from everything , so nice and peaceful.
The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed.
Will be returning
There was nothing to dislike
