Serenity was in a beautiful bush setting with easy access to walks in forests and along creek and also a good walk into Daylesford centre. The house was very comfortable- good beds, comfy sofas, good dining area and kitchen well equipped including a great large fridge. Bathroom clean and functional but old style and limited sink space for a larger group. Great warmth from the fireplace and split systems but gas space heater wasn’t working. Would recommend

Initially we had trouble gaining access as the wrong code was supplied. However the host was responsive and good communication and rectified problem. We got in within an hour. The host was responsive, location, and the property is aptly named.
However, the floors had not been washed. They were extremely dirty filthy. I was taken back. I had to sweep them twice and clean. If i could upload the photos i would. I did contact the host after but he said we should have contacted him earlier so our stay could have been better. But we only had a few days and it was our time away and it was supposed to be cleaned before arriving. We paid for cleaning? We left the place alot better. I even swept the deck for the next people as well.. I had tried a number of times to reach out and send our photos. He was only interested so he could tell the cleaners for the next people not offering anything to us. I have kept photos.

Such a tranquil location with bushland surroundings from the front porch. Perfect to relax outside on a warm day & on the cold night we sat in the back lounge room on comfortable couches with the fire going. I have rated everything 5 star…my only suggestion is to turn the hot water temperature up as the shower lacked any pressure. Also only a small thing but there were a lot of scented diffusers in the house…I think we counted 9 in total.😂 As a hayfever sufferer we relocated them under the porch outside for the stay. To be honest the house didn’t need them as it was super clean & definitely not stinky. Thanks for the stay we absolutely loved our relaxing getaway.

Very lovely home with all the modern comfort and technology for our family of 4. Enjoyed the two lounge spaces to watch different movies on Netflix. The owner was easy to converse with and was great to go on a long walk in to the surrounding area and see the springs. Beds were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the house.

A perfectly appointed family stay, lovely bush location, wild life, thoughtful and considerate touches. A cosy, warm home, with the added attraction of an open fire. Had a bushwalk along the river near the property. Great kids resources, play area. Lovely outdoor eating, relaxing spaces too. Loved everything about our stay

The stay was great, thank you for having us. We enjoyed our time.
The main living room was a great entertaining area for our group of friends to catch up over food, or lounge on the couch watching Netflix in front of the huge flatscreen. It was also beautiful waking up to the gorgeous view overlooking the bush.

I took my client here for respite and we loved every minute of it, from an access perspective the stairs were a little tricky but overall the layout of the house was great, everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen had a great selection of pots and pans to cook with. I inadvertently left a rubbish bag on the front porch upon my departure and the animals got into it so please don't forget to throw your rubbish away! the message regarding this was relayed to me in a really nice way too. overall it was a great stay and I will defiantly be going back!

We could not of asked for a better weekend escape. This house is one of many we have stayed in Daylesford over the years and this one is real a gem.The house was super clean and beautifully styled especially the bedrooms. The bathroom vanity needs to be swapped with the power room vanity to complete this lovely home. The only disappointment was
that we had the wood fire going all weekend because it was really cold and for the ambience but we ran out of wood on the last night. All easy fixes for one of the best cottage stays in Daylesford. We will definitely be back and thank you so much Marios for the late check out.

Good home, winning location
Serenity is a good standard of holiday house. Families will appreciate the two living spaces at opposite ends of the home. The winning feature of the property is its private and quiet location. The laundry renovation is unfinished.

Beautiful Location
I stayed here with my partner, two daughters and my mother. The house is lovely, very clean, and just as the photos show. The kitchen is modern and is the best equiped I have stayed in. We stayed in July so it was pretty cold, but we were very comfortable thanks to reverse cycle air con in both living areas, plus a wood stove (and a good supply of wood) in the second living room and a very effective gas heater in the main living area. The living areas were lovely and very comfortable with plenty of room for everybody. Bedrooms are nicely decorated with super comfy beds and electric blankets. The owner Marios is quick to reply to any queries and made us feel very welcome via email contact. The absolute star of the property is its location. Private and set on the edge of the beautiful Wombat National Park, there are magnificent views from both living rooms and the two main bedrooms.

Serenity indeed!
We were delighted with our recent stay. The property location is 2nd to none with wild wallabies and singing kookaburras at your door step but still within an easy drive to the township. The house is very well appointed with all the necessities to make for a comfortable stay. The heating options and fireplace meant we were cosy and warm despite the cold wintery days. We loved being able to bring our dog with us and she loved it too. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic & relaxing
An absolute beautiful place , very relaxing and very enjoyable. Everything you could ask for, a fantastic kitchen with everything in it, the only negative would be not enough fire wood for the open fire on the chilly nights. Our two dogs enjoyed the open space to just run!
Overall very nice place.

Clean, inviting and spacious.
We were very impressed when we pulled up and even more impressed when we opened the front door. We wanted for nothing. 7 people had more than enough room. Air con and wood fire made our stay very cosy. Beds very comfortable. House is very roomy in a quiet neighborhood. Thanks to the hosts for terrific stay

Bush setting but all the luxury
This was our second stay at this property and it didn't let us down! Having previously stayed in winter with the heating and fireplace cranked up, this time our requirements were different as we arrived at the property in 35-40 degree weather. The property managed beautifully with air con at either end. And over night, 3'out of 4 nights temperatures dropped enough that the ac went off and the quilt went on!
Beautifully presented property, everything is in great condition.
The property is at the end of the road and the walking tracks that follow are fabulous. We saw kangaroos daily hopping by in the mornings, lots of bird life and an echidna out front.
Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Brilliant house...loved it!!
Wow! What a house...we've stay at a few holiday homes and this is the best by far! Space for everyone, beautiful surroundings and peaceful. Everything was neat and tidy and we had everything available for us. Great communications with the owner...was always available. Having the second lounge room was great for the kids...we took the playstation...set it up for the evening and we didn't see them until bedtime which gave my wife and me some alone time :-)
Highly recommend! Thanks for everything...will be back!!
