Our cozy, family-friendly, comfortable and luxuriously furnished holiday home for 4 people with sauna is located in the quiet Villapark “De Oesterbaai” on the South Holland (Zeeland) North Sea coast, directly on the beach of the Oosterschelde, in the charming village of Wemeldinge.
The house is comfortably furnished and has a large fenced garden.
The wonderful, quiet Oosterscheldestrand can be reached on foot. Here you can swim or enjoy the sun, a real paradise for water sports enthusiasts and divers. The closest town is Goes, visited by many tourists every year. Goes has a cozy shopping center and a historic character. Cities such as Middelburg, Vlissingen, Domburg, Bergen op Zoom, Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent and Rotterdam can be easily reached. You can go on fantastic cycling and walking tours in the area. Enjoy the beautiful Zeeland landscape with the sea, polders and orchards. Villapark de Oesterbaai is accessible from two sides without a barrier. The park has a reception where you can rent bicycles and a small playground for children and 4 jeux des boules.
The holiday home with sauna has every comfort and is suitable for a maximum of 4 people - it has two bedrooms with 1 double bed each.
Through the entrance you come into a hallway with a separate toilet and coat rack. Living room with stairs and with 2 comfortable sofas and 2 armchairs with cable TV, wifi, CD radio, DVD and large TV with Netflix (from the house in German).
You can use your own Netflix subscription on Apple TV. Please have your own German login data (email address and password)!
You can also connect your Playstation / game computer to the TV in the living room.
Dining room with a large table and 6 chairs. Modern, fully equipped, open kitchen with Siemens dishwasher, modern new oven with German language (Siemens) 2016, induction cooker (Siemens), toaster, mixer, orange press, coffee machine and Senseo.
Ground floor: master bedroom with double bed and bathroom with bath. Floor tiles (can be easily cleaned). On the first floor: bathroom with shower, washing machine, toilet, sink and sauna. Second bedroom with double bed.
Fly screens on all 'important' windows.
Outside you will find a large garden with a beautiful lawn, 2 wonderful terraces and a garden shed. Beds with duvets and pillows. There is a SUP board at the house. You can park 2-3 cars in front of the house. Finally: smoking not allowed, pets not allowed. Electricity, heating, WIFI and sauna are included in the price.

Price per day for men's and women's bicycles: € 8.00; Children's bike € 6.00 per day. € 40.00 per week for men's and women's bicycles, € 30.00 per week for children's bicycles. Erholsamer Familienurlaub
Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, schon bei der Ankunft wird man herzlich begrüßt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, mit schönem, gepflegtem Garten. Die Lage, direkt am Meer, ist sehr ruhig und war somit für den ersten Urlaub zu dritt genau das Richtige!

Super Fahrradurlaub ! 21.5.-28.5.2022
Wir haben zu viert eine tolle Woche gehabt, die Wohnung ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Der große Garten ist zum Ausruhen super! Auch die Lage des Hauses ist toll, man ist in ein paar Schritten am Strand. Wir haben jeden Tag tolle Radtouren gemacht. Von unserem Gastgeber wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Ferienhaus würden wir Jedem gerne weiter empfehlen.

Urlaub in gepflegtem Haus
Wir hatten eine schöne sonnige Zeit in diesem gepflegten Haus. Der Besitzer hat uns freundlich empfangen. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Es ist ausreichend Geschirr dort. Der Garten ist wunderschön. Man kann immer eine sonnige Ecke finden. Auch dort ausreichend Mobiliar vorhanden. Das Haus ist direkt hinter dem Deich. Für uns war es ein perfekter Urlaub. Danke Eric

A wonderful, spotlessly clean holiday house.
Excellent property, well equipped both inside and out. Located just a short walk to the beach and the pretty village with a small supermarket and variety of bars and restaurants. The owner , Eric Speckens provided us with lots of information prior to our arrival and met us personally both on arrival and departure. We will be back.

Eine wunderschöne Woche gehabt
Die Lage und Ausstattung des Hauses ist super. Die Möglichkeiten vor Ort sind hervorragend . Eine schöne Gegend für Radtouren. Bei uns hat auch das Wetter mitgespielt. Im Sommer ist es hier sicher auch für einen Strandurlaub sehr schön.

Mooi, schoon en volledig huis.
We hebben alles in deze woning gevonden wat we nodig hadden. Mooie grote tuin erbij met veel meubilair en een bbq. Erg schoon en zeer prettige eigenaar met fijne uitleg. We komen nog eens terug! Ook prettige restaurants in de buurt voor de liefhebbers.

Sehr schönes, total ausgestattetes Haus von sehr nettem Vermieter
Bei Eric mietet man ein sehr schönes Haus von einem sehr zuvorkommenden Vermieter, der sich sehr kümmert und auch Deutsch spricht. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man geht ca. 200 m zum kleinen Strand. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Immer wieder gerne
Das Haus war perfekt, alles war vorhanden. Es war sauber und wir hatten einen großen Garten. Alles sehr gepflegt. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter ist sehr nett. Er gab uns sehr viele Tipps.
Das Meer ist direkt vor der Tür, der Deich ist super für Jogger, Spaziergänge oder Fahrradtouren.

Fijn huis op toplocatie
Persoonlijk betrokken eigenaar, zeer complete woning, twee slaapkamers, twee badkamers én een sauna! Grote tuin, de hele dag zon en ook schaduw. Dicht bij zwemwater. Schoon en netjes!

Compleet uitgerust huisje in ontspannen omgeving
Erg vriendelijk en betrokken eigenaar. Het huisje is onderdeel van een leuk vakantieparkje met een petanquebaan en tafeltennistafel. Het huisje was erg netjes en zeer compleet uitgerust. Heerlijke tuin om te zitten, te barbecuen en waar af en toe een konijn om de hoek komt kijken. Genoeg te doen in de omgevingen: leuke Zeeuwse steden, mooie fietsroutes en genoeg water om te zeilen.

Echt een aanrader!
We hebben een heerlijk weekje gehad met ons gezin in dit fijne vakantiehuis. Het huis en de tuin hebben een prettige sfeer, het is licht en ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien.
Daarnaast heeft het huis heeft een mooie en rustige ligging. Je loopt zo de dijk op en daarachter ligt een strandje aan de Oosterschelde. Je kunt er goed wandelen en fietsen in de omgeving en mooie stadjes bekijken zoals Veere, Vlissingen en Middelburg.
De eigenaar is vriendelijk en zo nodig altijd stand-by.

Fantastic Find
The Five Star experience we had at Eric's place was way beyond our expectations due to him always being accessible and willing to help us out when needed. Upon arrival, he gave us a thorough tour and in-depth explanation of how everything works. We really enjoyed our time in the sauna as it was a chilly week in May. We didn't worry about whether or not it was sanitized because the entire home was insanely clean! Trust me, I am really picky about cleanliness. We highly recommend staying at this place as the beach is just a one minute walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance (restaurants, bakery, grocery store, dive shop, and bike rental shop). If you decide to venture out, Middleburg is about a 30 minute car ride away and is a very charming city to explore for the day.

gehobene Klasse ohne Fehl und Tadel
Das Haus und der Garten sind bestens in Schuss. Die Einrichtung kann man schon fast als luxuriös - in jedem Fall als sehr preiswert - bezeichnen. Dabei fällt insbesondere die Sauna auf. Der Schuppen am Haus ist u.a. gut zur Unterbringung von Fahrrädern geeignet. Der Kompakt-Backofen hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir ihn nun für uns daheim bestellt haben.
Last but not least ist der äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter zu nennen. Er versorgt seine Gäste schon vor der Reise mit vielen nützlichen Informationen. Bei der Ankunft erfolgt eine umfassende Einweisung in alles wissenswerte und auch während des Aufenthalts steht er jederzeit zur Verfügung. Es wird nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt gewesen sein.

Toller Urlaub
Wir durften 2 Wochen in dem schönen, perfekt ausgestatteten Ferienaus verbringen.
Eric hat uns herzlich empfangen und mit vielen Infos über Restaurants und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten versorgt, so dass wir uns vom der 1. Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt haben.
Das Haus war sehr sauber und es war alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht.
Wir können das Ferienhaus und Eric als Gastgeber uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Traumhafte Lage und viel Ruhe
Wir haben einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub verbringen dürfen. Das Haus ist mit allem bestens ausgestattet, inklusive Bettwäsche, Saunahandtücher und Geschirrtücher. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. DIe Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und sehr gepflegt, ebenso der Garten.
Das Stand-up-Paddel haben unsere Teenagerjungs sehr genossen.
Einzigartig ist die direkte Lage am Deich und Strand, so dass man mehrmals am Tag Strandbaden und Spaziergange auf dem Deich unternehmen konnte. Außerdem lohnen sich sehr Fahrradausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung.
Der Ort Wemeldinge mit Yachthafen, Windmühlen und schönem Ortskern ist fußläufig sehr gut zuerreichen. Sehr wohltuend empfanden wir die Ruhe. Trotz der vielfältigen Möglichkeiten ist der Urlaubsort nicht überlaufen wie manch andere Orte.
Hervorzuheben ist die sehr gute Betreuung durch den Vermieter, der für uns sogar die Bahnfarkarten nach Den Haag (auch sehr zu empfehlen) besorgt hatte.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Super Gastgeber, viele Tipps und immer erreichbar. Das Haus ist mit Liebe gestaltet. Sollte etwas fehlen, Eric kümmert sich sofort. Durch das tolle Wetter haben wir die Sauna nicht nutzen können, aber das wird bestimmt nachgeholt. Der Strand ist in nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Tide ist nicht so extrem, und man kann jederzeit schwimmen. Für Kleinkinder geeignet. Das Stand up paddeln hat super viel Spaß gemacht. Danke nochmal für die Benutzung. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder...

Erster Urlaub in Holland
Unser erster Urlaub in Holland war super. Mit Eric, unserem Vermieter, hatten wir schon vor dem Urlaub eine klasse Kommunikation, da es durch Corona nicht so einfach war. Eric hielt uns die ganze Zeit vor dem Urlaub auf dem laufenden, was es für Vorschriften und Einschränkungen gab. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Das ganze Haus war perfekt eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Entfernung zum Meer war sensationell, die Restaurants und Geschäfte im Ort sind einen Besuch wert. Ausflüge in anliegende Städte und Dörfer lohnen sich. Wir haben uns gut erholt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Kurzurlaub in Wemeldingen
Wir waren eine Woche in dem Haus von Eric Specken. Er hat uns freundlich begrüßt, das Haus gezeigt und Tipps für Ausflüge, Einkäufe und anderes gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und hat alles was man braucht. Vor allen war es schön nach den Winterspaziergängen eine Sauna benutzen zu dürfen. Wir haben einiges von Südholland gesehen und das Schönste war auf dem Deich den Jahreswechsel zu erleben. Die Feriensiedlung lag am Deich und dahinter war man gleich am Wasser. Uns hat es gefallen und würden auch wiederkommen. Vielleicht mal im Sommer!? Sehr zu empfehlen.

Tolle Tage in Wemeldinge
Wir haben uns in Erics Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Auch die Sauna konnten wir problemlos testen und genießen. In der Umgebung haben wir viele Städte und die Natur erkundet. Eric ist ein toller Gastgeber, der jederzeit ansprechbar ist und gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Vielen Dank dafür!

Perfekter Herbsturlaub
Wir waren eine Woche mit unseren beiden Kindern (5+2 Jahre alt) in Wemeldinge und haben uns in Erics Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.
Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Von der Schlechtwetter-Ausstattung wie Spiele, Bücher oder Netflix, über Hochstuhl, Kinderbett bis hin zum Sandkasten für die Sonnentage. Beeindruckend fanden wir die technische Ausstattung in der Küche ebenso wie die direkte Nähe zum Strand und Meer.

Sehr schöne 2 Wochen
Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Wochen in diesem Haus. Alles was in der Anzeige beschrieben ist, ist auch genauso vorhanden. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts. Und die Sauna war sehr wohltuend bei regnerischem Wetter.
Eric hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns nützliche Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben.
Abends sind wir immer ab 18:30 Uhr am Deich entlang spaziert und wenn es nicht all zu windig war, haben wir immer das Glück gehabt und Schweinswale gesehen.
Ebenso hat unsere 13 Monate alte Tochter hier ihre ersten Schritte gemacht, von daher ist es eh für uns ein unvergesslicher Urlaub gewesen.

Vollausgestattetes Ferienhaus für den entspannten Urlaub
Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet für bis zu 4 Personen. Bei schönem Wetter bietet der Garten auch Entspannung, oder man kann den nah gelegenen Strand nutzen. Bei schlechtem Wetter gibt es genug Möglichkeiten auch im Haus. Spiele, Lesen, Audio und Video nutzen und zur Erholung in die Sauna gehen.
Es lassen sich tolle Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad machen und der Eigentümer gibt ganz persönliche Tipps gratis dazu. Die herzliche Atmosphäre und die Hilfen von Eric beim Einchecken und bei der Betreuung ist eine hervorzuhebende Besonderheit, die den Aufenthalt besonders machen bzw., die einem das Gefühl geben besonders Willkommen zu sein.

Sehr schönes Haus und toller Vermieter
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Wemeldinge.
Das fing schon gleich mit der direkten Begrüßung mit vielen Tipps zur Umgebung durch den Vermieter an.
Auch während des Aufenthalts war Herr Speckens immer direkt ansprechbar und hat auch nachgefragt, ob alles ok sei. Das empfanden wir als tollen Service.
Das Haus war in einem super Zustand, sauber und alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. Auch Internetanbindung und WLAN waren top. Uns hat nichts gefehlt.
Zur Abreise verabschiedete uns Herr Speckens auch wieder persönlich.
Der Park (Oesterbaai), in dem das Haus liegt, war ebenfalls sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Insgesamt haben wir dort einen tollen Urlaub verbracht:

Tolles Ferienhaus
Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus und es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet , auch so Kleinigkeiten wie Handseife und Spülmittel , alles vorhanden . Der Garten ist ideal für Kinder . Die Lage ist sehr gut für Ausflüge . Für diese gibt es jede Menge Tipps von Herr Specken . Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter ist sehr gut. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke Eric für die vielen Tipps und den angenehmen Aufenthalt

Tolle Zeit in Wemeldinge
Wir waren mit unserem 3 1/2-jährigen Sohn für eine Woche Gast in dem schönen Ferienhaus von Herrn Speckens. Wie auch bereits die anderen Bewertungen aussagten, fehlte es uns dank der großzügigen Ausstattung im Haus an nichts. Wir hatten ab der ersten Minute unserer Ankunft ein direktes Urlaubsgefühl. Ob das perfekt ausgestattete Haus, der schöne und private Gartenbereich mit vielen Spielmöglichkeiten für unseren kleinen Sohn oder der fast tägliche Strandbesuch (durch die perfekte Lage des Hauses nur 2 Minuten entfernt) - wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Es war perfekt, um mal eine Woche fernab vom Trubel und Massentourismus zu entspannen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch noch die herzliche Betreuung durch Herrn Speckens, der wirklich alles tut, damit seine Gäste einen schönen Aufenthalt genießen können.

This is the home everyone needs for their relaxing break from this busy world. We love it and have visited from Australia for a second time and will be back, next time we are in Holland.
From the friendly greetings, the personal tour of the home to the sparkling cleanliness , this spacious and luxuriously appointed house has everything you need. Wemeldinge is a treasure waiting to be discovered and a gem for us. Come and enjoy the fresh sea air, the wonderful walks and bike riding, swimming and exploring; or just relax with a book and some music of your choice. There's plenty of space for the children who will love you even more for bringing them to this little spot of fun and freedom.

Clean, comfortable,bright and with lovely furniture.
The personal attention when settling in was special. Customer service was only a phone call away.
Wemeldinge is the perfect little Dutch village close to the sea, a protected area great for swimming,scuba diving, wind surfing or just enjoying the outdoors.
Close to many interesting villages by bike or car.
I would unreservedly recommend this home to my friends and family.
