House is a bit smaller than it appears online and the spiral stairs weren’t the easiest to deal with…problem only because navigating them after a 100 mile race proved difficult. I’m probably the only one with that problem though.
Otherwise it was great, very pretty area and competitively priced. Would definitely recommend this house considering the pricing of all the other available places in the area.

This is a duplex that reminds you an old ski cabin. Beautiful views

First of all it has to be said that this is not a Ski-in/out in terms of downhill skiing. I would say this is very misleading given the fact that is it very close to the mountain and yet you cannot see the exact location of the house until after you book it.
Second, when we arrived at the house it had not snowed for 2 days and was raining and yet there was still 8" of mushy nasty snow in the drive that never got cleared for us prior to arrival. Our 4 wheel drive vehicle almost did not make it up the driveway, and one time slid back down the driveway on its own. I asked the maintenance to come clear it and was told there was a shovel that I could use to take care of it myself. After texting them several times, they finely came to plow the snow the day before we were checking out.
The house itself is great. A bit rustic in terms of heating and a very much up north cabin feel that we really like. I give this house a 5 star review, but the description and the issue with the snow really put a sour taste in everyone's mouth.

Wonderful winter getaway, cozy fire, beautiful mountain views and excellent ski in/out to Hyak. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

This was a cute, cozy ski getaway! The other reviewers are right about needing an SUV in snowy weather and about the stairs but if you’re up for those things, it’s a great spot to ski snowshoe or hike from. Also close to all of the Snoqualmie resorts and a few cute restaurants.

We (5 kids and 3 adults) had a fabulous time at the cabin. Excellent location, lots of fun for adults and kids. Children's play area with toys, thoughtfully designed living room, sleds, shoe drier, washer and dryer. Some guests mentioned cold, but we were always warm (during cold weather and snowfalls) with heaters and a great wood-burning oven. Hope to come back soon! Please don't raise the price, you are the most affordable rental in the neighborhood :)

Our group had 2 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog. The teens stayed in the bunk room and loved it! There was a small issue before we arrived, but the host called to let us know before we arrived and the communication was great. We would stay again.

We loved the Mountain View, hot showers and comfy beds. This cabin fit our family of 6 adults well. New kitchen appliances. Lots to do in the area.

Beautiful cabin, We enjoyed out stay. It was very clean and cozy.

We didn’t spend a lot of time during the day because we spent it at my cousin’s cabin for a family reunion. It was nice to have a place away. I was able to cook up most of the ingredients for a large egg and sausage bake. The house had everything I needed.
The multiple staircases were a little straining for my sister. She had been attacked by 5 pit bulls a few years back so she stayed on the 2nd floor. Everything worked out great.

Very nice A-frame with gorgeous views. Decor is somewhat dated and the cabin could use better lighting, but the owners supplied everything you might need, including a well outfitted kitchen, plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, laundry detergent, toiletries, games, videos, and toys for kids. A great place to stay!

Beautiful, quiet location close to the Interstate for easy travel to Seattle area or Eastern Washington. Owner has outfitted the cabin with everything you might need while on vacation! Just wish there were curtains on windows in living room and on the side windows of upstairs master bedroom.

This was the perfect cabin for our friend's Memorial Day weekend get away. Perfect location to hikes, brewery's and so much more. Will definitely be back!

We loved our week at this lovely cabin. We spent the week skiing at Snoqualmie. Since we were there during the week it wasn't really ski in ski out since East was closed. We did (even our school age boys) boot over to the cross over to ski Silver Fir or drove over to Alpental. The cabin was very well appointed for our week- including everything we would need for the kitchen, movies and games.
The only thing I would advise is the 'jungle gym' was very fun for our slightly older kids (8 and 12). The jungle gym, circular stairs and (wonderful) wood stove would make this a tricky property for those with very littles.
Thank you--- We had a wonderful time and your place was perfect for us.

Our second time with our kids at this cabin. Great location! Easy check in/out. We were very comfortable. We enjoy the walk through the woods to the ski lift !!! Thanks again for another memorable family experience!

Great location. Really fun kids room. Great amenities. Looks like it has been abused by past tenants and could use some updates but 9/10 would stay again.

There was a strong mildew/mold smell when we arrived that was present for the entire stay. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, as was the main floor living space. The spiral stairs are a bear if you have trouble with steps. The driveway and front walkway were not shoveled, but the road getting up to the place was very well groomed. It would be good to have a snow shovel in the cabin for clearing the deck and drive. Everything in the kitchen worked and we had what we needed to cook with. The cabin got warm quickly from the great fireplace, and the bedrooms stayed warm through the night even as the fire died out. The beds were comfortable.

WOW wow, so much fun loved it soooo much. I want to book all the time. Nothing better than a warm shower, fire, watching DVDs and getting cozy at this perfect a-frame right next to the trails at hyak. Many beds but only one shower so something to think about with a big group in the winter after a cold day out. Internet was out on the street but we did have a couple cell phone bars to do a hot spot but didn't work all that well so we just watched their fun DVDs.

We love this cabin, this was our second time staying here. It’s perfect for escaping and getting some mountain time. We stay here specifically to go sledding and it never disappoints. Wi-Fi was down due to a storm before we came. Which honestly isn’t a big deal if you’re truly trying to unplug. I’m positive we’ll be back.

The house needs some basic repairs. Refrigerator leaked, screen doors didn’t close properly, bathtub very slow to drain and was very dusty. Couldn’t get into house since lockbox was jammed, this was at midnight. Called for assistance, was cut off. Lucky we found the back door unlocked otherwise we would have slept in the car because it wasn’t until 9:30 the next morning when someone arrived to help.

Great stay! Very comfortable and accessible to slopes!
My family had a wonderful stay here. So much fun going right out the back door to the slopes! Very easy check-in and check-out. Kids had a lot of fun in the bunk bed room! Thank you for a wondeful stay!

Rustic Cabin for Summer-use Only
Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our stay as expected. The main reason was inadequate heat which is not mentioned in the description. The primary heating system is a wood stove. There are baseboard heaters in most rooms but they trip the circuit breakers. So you wake up in a cold house. The entrance to the house was narrow and icy. Plus there was a misunderstanding about our arrival date and the house wasn’t cleaned and beds weren’t made. The house needs a new electrical service for all the heaters and appliances to work at the same time.

Crampons and ice axe required to access property
The cabin itself was fine, except for the extremely narrow spiral staircase that goes from the main entrance up through the second and third floor. It was extremely challenging bringing our belongings into the duplex. Our biggest concern was that the driveway and entrance to the cabin had not been properly plowed so we literally had a wall of ice and severely dangerous conditions getting in and out of the condo. Both my husband and myself fell And our car slid down the driveway. Would not recommend for older adults or small children.

Great location and views
Cabin had a lot of amenities, But was not clean. Bedrooms was dirty, beds had trash on them, sheets was not washed before the previous renter and electrical system was spotty

Fantastic property and service!!!
The property was amazing and the customer service was excellent. The caretaker was proactive with getting us checkin details. They provided brief checkins with us to see if everything was going ok and it never felt bothersome. There was a welcome gift and note to greet us upon arrival and they were incredibly prompt with getting back to any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

Amazing Cabin for Families with Kids
The cabin was amazing! The management was outstanding and left a kind gift for us with a card upon check in. Plenty of dishes and cups to make lots of meals for the kids with. Everything was clean and well stocked, we really loved it! That said a majority of the neighbors were very mean/rude to our kids that were playing in the snow. They knocked over our kids snowman which was completely out of anyones way and multiple neighbors stood on their decks yelling at our kids to get the hell off their street “you damn Renters!” As they were playing with their sleds. Very frustrating. BUT our cabin was amazing and the management was great!

After reading through the reviews online, I was hesitant about this rental but wanted to be optimistic and give it a chance. I was excited to take our dog with us instead of kenneling him. However, my optimism was short lived and after one night we decided to travel home.I had hoped that due to the property being managed by an external company, Vacasa, instead of the home owner meant that the maintenance and cleanliness of the rental would have been impressive. It was impressive but not for the right reasons. The steps leading up to the front door are not true steps. They are large rocks that could easily cause a slip, fall or ankle twist. It was not easy to unpack and carry in our luggage and supplies. My suggestion would be to add filler around the rocks to maintain the look and ensure safety.Entering into the rental we found almost all lights were on and a door leading into a very messy and unorganized storage room was left open. There were item scattered across the floor in the storage room and an orange extension cord leading from that room into the bedroom on this level. We were also introduced to the first of two spiral staircases. Within moments we realized there was no way in heck our dog was willingly going to use those stairs. On the 2nd level we found the dining room, kitchen, living room and full bath. As others have stated over and over, many light bulbs are blown and the overall maintenance is lacking. It is clear that there was some DIY upgrades here and there throughout the property. Unfinished edges on dry wall, exposed nails around the back door, sharp edges on the kitchen tile, missing tiles in the kitchen, loose electrical sockets, light switches/fixtures that did not work, etc. Still after seeing this we continued to unpack and tell ourselves that it’s paid for and we will make the best of it. We started to notice the use of extension cords was a common theme in this home. In the kitchen, we found an over all lack of cleanliness. The open cabinets have the potential to be really cute but they contained dirty small appliances, mostly empty (and dirty) condiments/food items and dingy baskets to hide other items. The wifi network never worked and cell service is very limited. Not a good place to take dogs due to the limited outdoor space for relieving themself. I have more to say but I'm out of characters :-(

The home at 143 Innsbruck is good for people requiring a roof and working kitchen appliances as well as a decent amount of bed space. However, as a vacation rental both from a maintenance, cleanliness upon arrival, and Vacasa responsiveness to issues we found it woefully inadequate. Vacasa did offer to refund us the cleaning fee in response to our initial communication that while the home had clean linens on all the beds, there was trash left outside of it, cigarette butts were visible around the property and in at one of the doors, the living area had children's toys out that could have been easily made to look neater, and there was melted chocolate as well as a roll of paper and marker left out on one of the balconies. The home was not "professionally clean" compared to other VRBO's we have stayed at.One response we got from Vacasa was that the property was "remote" and while this may be true during ski season, an at most one hour trip out of Seattle does not qualify in the summer. From a maintenance perspective, the home is "tired" overall in condition. On a more pressing note it has numerous burnt out light bulbs in multiple rooms. We were told that spare light bulbs were available in the unit and there are, but numerous light fixtures in the unit require specialty connections compared to a standard socket and none of those were available. The WiFi, while a promised capability of the rental did not work. I diagnosed the error and provided all the required information to fix it to Vacasa via email, but it did not work for the duration of our stay. The exhaust fan in the bathroom and its light is also inoperable. All of this is indicative of a property management company that flat out doesn't care about the easy things to see to fix in a unit. I am not supposed to have to be maintenance man when checking in.We rented during an unseasonably hot period, and while we didn't expect to have air conditioning and there were fans at the property running when we got there, we were the ones who had to hunt around for screen doors to put up and then hang them so that we could get more airflow in the unit without inviting bugs in.Finally, Vacasa's customer service is completely lacking when it comes to actually supporting you during the stay. I sent emails that were responded too during normal working hours while you advertise 24/7 support. I was told someone from the local staff would be contacting me. I called and talked to a woman in Georgia who empathized with my position and read the email history and then promised to call me back after talking to local staff after verifying my phone number. She never did. I was told that our issue with a lack of clothing storage was moot because the photos online are representative of the storage, but there are woefully few photos online to get a real feel for the place. We have had numerous experiences with VRBOs and this one is far and away the worst both from a property upkeep and customer service experience.

The listing was pretty accurate and pictures as well. I give it a 3 star for the cleanliness and the coldness. The bottom floor was freezing, 2nd floor was cold, and 3rd floor was manageable. I stayed here with my wife and 5 month old daughter. We had to stay on the 3rd floor because the house was so cold. There was also dirt and dog hair throughout the house (noticeable on the carpet and couches). I didnt feel comfortable laying on the couch because of that. We rented the place for 3 nights but I only stayed 1 night. Not a bad place if your just here to snowboard or ski but I wouldnt stay here to hang out.
