The house is conveniently located between I 75 and Tamaimami Trail. Approximately 20 minutes to the best golf beaches in Florida, Manasota Beach, Venice Beach, Siesta Key (best beach in the USA 2011) and the famous Warm Mineral Springs (thermal bath) 5 minutes away by car.
Shops and restaurants are nearby.
Most attractions are possible as a day trip (Disney, Everglades, Edison + Ford, Ringling ..) Short drive from the airport about 46 mil. Sarasota, Ft. Myers 56 mil, Tampa 96 mil, Miami about 3 hours.

There are a few things I would like to suggest. 1) do not show the lights in the pool if they dont work 2) there wasnt any sheet pans to bake on. 3) Clean and replace vents and filters 4) i would put an outside light/fan combo by the pool Otherwise we had a great time

The location is excellent. There’s a lot of privacy in the neighborhood and not far from shops or gulf beaches. Property manager is easy to get a hold of and easy check in/out process. The house was very clean and comfortable as was the pool.

My husband and I had a nice stay at Mikes rental. The property was clean, provided a private environment, perfect for relaxation. The pool was the highlight, offering a private spot to unwind. Additionally the location was great, close to family and short drive to many beaches. Would recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful and convenient getaway. We will definitely return.

I let the property manager know there were no batteries in the fire alarms. The battery compartments were all open. Guest bathroom tub was not cleaned.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the pool. Everything was close by - the restaurants, the springs, and grocery place. Overall it was a great vacation for us. I highly recommend this place.

This was beautiful place. Quiet and well kept. Great for 4 people. Property manager was excellent. Quick to respond ( less than 2 hrs). Friendly and perfect for the job. Would love to book for the winter again But no availability

This house worked perfectly for our family! We loved that it was close to family we were visiting as well as restaurants, shopping, and beaches. The house was clean and everything we needed was there…except a pool skimmer! We would stay again! :)

My husband and I wanted to get away a few days over the busy holiday weekend and our stay was perfect. Mike remained in contact from reservation until following checkout. The house was very clean, including the pool, and comfortably furnished. The neighborhood was very quiet and a great place for a walk. We will definitely return!

Horrible the host was rude hostile and tried to force a good review by withholding our refund because the property was not up to par..pool was covered in black algae the water in the house stopped working we had to use gallons of water to flush toilets.. then he the host Mike put us out of the rental (mind you we rented and paid for a months stay) because he said he was sick of my complaints when all I asked was what could we do to fix the situation because we rented the house for the pool that we couldn’t swim in!!! The host then ended our stay and put us out several weeks before our stay ended FAMILY VACATION RUINED with maybe 24hours notice by Mike the host. We swam the first week in an untreated pool I myself broke out in a rash from head to toe I was told it was because I went to the beach and got into the pool when we hadn’t been to the beach..each time there was a different story about why we couldn’t swim in the pool or had to wait several days after the pool was service... was given a completely different story from the actual person who treated the pool......FIND ANOTHER PLACE don’t waste your time or your money loved the neighborhood and neighbors Mike’s a poor host at best I have pictures for proof and text messages as well...also he would not communicate through Vrbo it was always sms to my personal phone

Great , Clean 3 bdrm , 2 full bathroom , pool home. What a great place to stay . Only 30 mins or so from Siesta Key or Boca Grande even less to Venice pier or Englewood Beach. Everything you could need right in the house. Host was great and got back to us instantly on any questions. Beach Chairs , Umbrella , Grill, Beach Towels, Dish TV, Netflix, etc. do yourself a favor and stay here.

The property was exactly as listed. The house was well stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable. It is a nice area, quiet and peaceful. There are only neighbors on one side so the pool area is private, and its a nice sized heated pool. It has a feeling that you are far away from town yet you are only a few minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. Management was easy to get in touch with and Michael is very friendly and prompt with answers to any questions or needs. I stayed with my husband, mother and two teenage boys and we were comfortable the entire time and enjoyed our stay.

we stay at this property to celebrate my daughter's 6th birthday my two girls had a lot of fun in the pool, we also went to siesta key witch is just a 30 minute drive. The house is beautiful Mike keeps everything in good conditions. Will definitely stay here again.

We found everything neat and clean. Home is located in a neighborhood off the beating path yet close enough to everything you need. About a half hour from the beach. Will consider this property again especially since it is in close proximity to familymembers.

The house was in a lovely location and very roomy. Over all we did enjoy our stay -but we did have a couple concerns about the cleanliest. The one bedroom with twin beds in it the sheets were dirty-when we picked up the pillow there was 2 tissues under the pillow and sand in the sheets. This was very disturbing to us and made us question the cleanliness of the house...:( The dishwasher did not use the soap. We ran it on several different options we did contact the owner and he said that he would have it fixed. We had 5 girls there for 3 of the nights and 6 girls for 1 night. We ran out of toilet paper about halfway thru the time-so it would be nice to have more at the house or have it listed that you will start them off with 3 rolls but they are responsible after they use it up. Also there was not much dish soap, laundry detergent. The pool had some white floaties in so we did not feel comfortable to swim in it...almost looked like the inside of a diaper or something. We did let the owner know and he did contact the pool cleaner and they said it was just from a shock treatment completed prior to us coming. If the house was more clean it probably would have been one of my favorite VRBO house that I have stayed in.

The house was awesome! It was clean, neat and had everything we needed. The lighted pool was awesome for evening/night swims. The owner was very easy to work with and helpful. This was my first time using HomeAway and he helped me navigate the process. He responds quickly to all questions. I would definitely rent this house again and eould not hesitate to rent from this owner again!!

We stayed 3 nights only in April .The Owner(MIke) is really helpful .I did not meet with him personally just over the phone he helped us out by answering to our questions. I liked the privacy of the place and the location. This house is in a quiet street .Place was clean and comfortable .We had a good short vacation in this town. We are planning to return for a longer stay in November.

Schönes, sauberes Ferienhaus in einer ruhigen, gepflegten Wohngegend. Wir konnten morgens schon draußen frühstücken und abends nach unseren ausgedehnten Ausflügen draußen sitzen und auch im beheizten Pool relaxen. Dank des Fliegengitters um Terrasse und Pool blieben wir auch am Abend von Moskitos und Echsen verschont. Den Fernseher haben wir überhaupt nicht benötigt, da wir lieber draußen gesessen haben. Rundherum ein superschöner Urlaub. Wir würden dieses Haus immer wieder buchen, es ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.
