Sehr schöne Weinfarm mitten in der Stadt mit sehr netten Gastgeber! Hat uns gefreut.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und verfügbar. Haben sich die Zeitgenommen uns alles was mit der Unterkunft zu tun hatte zu zeigen.

Wir hatten das Glück an dem Abend wo wir da waren die einzige Gäste zu sein. Wir waren überrascht zu erfahren dass es ein Zimmer neben unserem gab für andere Gäste und dass der Wohnbereich mit anderen Gästen zu teilen war. Dies war nicht aus der Buchung zu entnehmen. Der Gastgeber hat uns Kaffee Caps gebracht was sehr nett war, obwohl wir auch welche gekauft hatten (die aber nicht der Machine passten). Wäre gut ein Paar Sachen immer zur Verfügung der Gäste zu haben, wie Salz und Pfeffer und Kräutertees. Und Eierbecher!😉

Someone's dishonesty is seen in the details. The owner puts in square brackets that a small part is shared. It never clearly mentions that the space is - all of it - shared with strangers, who enter with the same access key. When I contacted him to try to resolve the situation amicably, he was intractable. Seeing me getting nervous, he made the situation even worse by questioning me nonstop about whether or not I was going to spend the night in the shared house with another guest. He made it very clear that he would not reimburse me, but he was still trying to get another guest in the house that same night. It was, in fact, his only concern. A true enlightened man, who happily dedicated himself to bad service on an Airbnb, and not to writing the medicine inserts with letters in Arial “2”. From the worst, the least evil.

Dishonest booking information

Lets be clear, this is a well equipped place in a nice setting. Please read the whole review to understand the low rating.

We were lead to believe that we had a private room. It is unlike a hotel, it is an apartment that that you share with a stranger. As mentioned in the description it has a shared kitchen but we were unaware we had a shared apartment. Not only were we upset by the arrangements but the poor guy who arrive after us was shocked to find he was sharing an apartment. He immediately called to complain but was told that it is clearly explained in the description….read the description yourself. He was told that if he or I were unhappy we could leave but there would be not refund. He then called me with the same proposition. After our “room mate” left a lady arrived to lock the door of the unused bedroom. I have travelled for more than 50 years, have been to 65 countries and have stayed in many strange places but this takes the prize. The owner or manager…never quite clear on that,was uncooperative and was adamant that it was our mistake and not his. Again read the description… As far as I am concerned the ad is unclear, and tantamount to false advertising. There was no effort to deescalate the situation, he basically said screw you , I have your money and you can stay or leave. BTW the other guest was Portuguese so our complaint were not subject to misinterpretation due to language barriers. Just beware of this misrepresentation.

Nice place

Peaceful and nice place in the middle of the wineyards. Nice swimming pool, good beds and equipped shared kitchen. Short way to Lisbon airport. The host family was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks Sergio for the advice for good bird watching places!

The high humidity in the rooms caused some discomfort with the clothes (mid Nov).

The surrounding view

I Stayed for 7 days. Room was not cleaned once or were sheets changed. I don't think I have "ever" stayed anywhere with this appalling level of cleanliness. No where to put toiletries in shower. Coffee mugs don't fit in coffee machine. Swimming pool not heated and too cold to use. Also had a fly in the house for for my whole stay. I asked the owner for fly spray and his answer was a dry "no". I can see why this fly is permanent guestmich before I arrived. Does he expect guests to bring there own fly spray with them?! Otherwise trek 6kms to supermarket and spend 4 euros to kill one fly and then throw away? TV remote was perfectly fine except for turning up/down volume and also channels. I guess that not too important as long as you like that one channel and are happy with the volume Sergio, the owner, is generally a nice chap but needs to be more considerate to his guests and basic requirements, maybe he is just new to this business. On the upside, had a change of towels on day 4! oh, and a slice of sponge cake on arrival... Sorry for the honest but constructive review but I hope it helps you improve your business.

Fantastic!

Very clean, very nice location, quiet and easy access. The owner was great, very accommodating and helped whenever he could. We would definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!

Exceptional

This accomodation is in a very calm and serene location with excellent and very helpful staff.. with very good cleanliness and all necessary facilities.. I would really recommend this to anyone..

Although the location is very good but do not have ease of access of public transportation.. so to get even a small thing or going to a restaurant is quite a task.. but if course the staff is very helpful and available for any kind of help required..
