This detached farmhouse rests near Llangynog in North Wales and can sleep 15 people in six bedrooms. Please note that Sunday checkins are not available.
Please note that this property can only accommodate Monday and Friday check-ins with a minimum stay of 3 nights. During UK school holidays only weekly bookings can be accommodated. Pengwern is a stone-built, detached farmhouse set in a delightful hillside position, next to the owner's home near Llangynog. Boasting fantastic views, this cottage has six bedrooms; a double, a family room with super king-size double and single bed and en-suite shower room, two king-size doubles (zip/link can be twins on request), a second floor king-size double with en-suite shower room, a second floor family room with king-size double (zip/link can be twins on request) and two single beds, sleeping 15 guests. There is also a bathroom, ground floor cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility, dining room, sitting room with woodburning stove, drying room and games room with a full-sized snooker table. Outside is ample off-road parking, lockable bike storage and a patio garden with furniture. Pengwern sits in a beautiful location, perfect for families and groups of friends wishing to enjoy the many nearby footpaths and mountain biking available

Rayburn range cooker, electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezers, dishwasher, washing machine, 6 x TVs with FreeSat, DVD, Superfast Broadband WIFI, selection of games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. HOT TUB: while we offer this facility, providing the hot water and electric, (without extra charges), guests need to book hot tub hire directly, from: https://www.lay-z-days.co.uk/pages/book-online. The basic price for 3 day hire, delivery & collection is currently £207 (inc VAT). Guests will pay directly to Lay-z-days Events and will be responsible for the booking and is subject to availability.This facility will be available for bookings at Pengwern from 1/7/24. The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain and, more recently, the David Tennant-starring movie Nativity 2 were both filmed in Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant. The community has three pubs, a café, a fish and chip restaurant, an Indian takeaway, two general stores, a newsagent, a post office, a butcher. Beautiful scenery surrounds it, offering walking paths for people of various fitness levels, such as the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a path to the top of the waterfall.
