Sails on the Beachfront is an architecturally designed beach house offering five bedrooms, which can sleep up to 10 guests, and three bathrooms. Its versatile and spacious floor plan caters perfectly for two families, large groups and multiple generations or offers a separate level and living area for children and teens. Both levels have generous covered decks overlooking the panoramic beach and ocean vista. The open plan living areas and kitchen all enjoy the same180 degree unobstructed ocean view. There is a large double garage and plenty of off street parking for a boat.
There are 3 bedrooms located on the top floor, the master has a king bed, bedroom 2 and 4 have king beds, bedroom 3 and 5 have king zip beds that can be made into singles.

Our group of 12 family members of mixed ages thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The house is within a half hour to most activities in the region. Started and ended each day enjoying the beach but we also had fun sliding downthe dunes, tobogganing, driving go carts and visiting the animal farm. The local fisherman provided some viewing entertainment bringing in their nets and we had RAAF flying jets over most days. A lovely home on a beautiful harbour we all loved our stay.

This home was the perfect place for a family get together. In a beautiful quiet spot with awesome views of the beach literally in your front yard. Well equipped with everything you need and was very clean when we arrived.Only complaint is if any small children they need to be watched carefully as gaps near railing on balcony.

Everything was impressive beyond our expectations. The house design achieves everything it was obviously designed to achieve . We felt like we were a part of the location whilst still having multiple private living spaces . The outdoor balcony just added to this feeling . Boat Harbour itself is the best of shoal bay and one mile beach combined. Clean clear water , amazing scenery, small waves to keep it engaging and beautiful sand . All this and only 15 minutes from major retailers.

Our only negative was that it is not really suitable for small children. The handrail to the second storey verandah is very dangerous with big gaps around the bottom and corners.

SAILS IS IN AN IDEAL LOCATION OVERLOOKING A SMALL BEACH WITH WALKS EASILY ACCESSIBLE. IT IS PROBABLY NOT SUITABLE IF YOU WANT TO BE IN AMONGST THE NIGHTLIFE. SALAMANDER AND NELSON BAY ARE BOTH ABOUT 12 MIN AWAY.
THIS PROPERTY IS IDEAL FOR TWO FAMILY GROUPS. WE WERE VERY COMFORTABLE WITH OUR FOUR FAMILIES.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sails on the beach. I will just add, we followed the instructions and bought Lavaza coffee pods and they did not fit. Property info needs to be updated to give the specific model because there are two types at the supermarket. Very frustrating and a waste of money as I purchased the wrong ones. But the house is lovely the beds and pillows were very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mainsail there was plenty of room the house was beautiful. The criticism we do have is there would have been a few supplies that could have been added that wouldn’t have been expensive but made all the difference to getting our stay underway (paper towel, toilet paper, butter, a bottle of milk and olive oil), this would have avoided the need for us to get to the shops as soon as we arrived.

The magnificent views of waves crashing onto the rocks on the northern side of Boat Harbour, even from the top of the drive, ensured a wonderful holiday week in this amazing home. The long hallway led us to the dazzling views of the beach, headlands and the ocean. Every day we had the excitement of seeing whales and dolphin from both levels of the house and from the beach. Some of our party whilst paddling in kayaks or on a SUP in the bay were fortunate to see a pod of dolphin very close to them. The walks to the headlands were easy even for the three-year old twins. There were great views of whales, the pounding sea and the long stretch of sand hills to the south. The house has three separate bedroom areas, the wonderful, large main bedroom with complete bathroom was perfect for the couple with the toddler. The walk-in-robe being a great location for the travel cot! The amazing downstairs area suited best the twins and their parents with another complete bathroom plus a bonus lounge room and kitchen. The twins' older brother was upstairs in a huge bedroom next to his ancient grandparents. The third bathroom adjoined these bedrooms. The wonderfully appointed kitchen, the dining and lounge areas were perfect with fantastic views. The upstairs deck was well used and the enormous televisions in each lounge were much appreciated by the little ones. We enjoyed a perfect holiday together in this extraordinary home.

The property was in a beautiful location. The house was stunning. Kitchen was very well equipped.
We were very disappointed with having to check in at 3pm and check out at 10am with absolutely no leniency. The house was actually ready for us at 1.30 because we arrived early and checked it out, then left so that we wouldn’t be breaching any rules. We actually only got to spend 1 out of 3 days there, because we spent Sunday morning doing the cleaning for you. The cleanliness was definitely not to the standard that we were expected to uphold. Dusty floors and carpets not properly vacuumed; Dusty fly screens covered in cob webs; Oven rack was dripping with grease. The whole experience for us was actually insulting. If this is how Stayz treats everyone, we will not be using Stayz again, preferring to spend our money at a hotel, where we can actually get out money’s worth for a whole weekend away.
