Leave the car behind, as only a few minutes stroll away are the booking centres and departure marinas for dolphin swims, dolphin & whale cruises, outer island & harbour cruises, as well as swimming beaches, diving, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, boat & jet ski hire, parasailing, fishing charters, bike hire, waterfront parks and BBQ's, and waterfront play equipment.

The lounge area boasts a combination of a 7 seat corner lounge, 2 individual feature chairs and a sofa, which accommodates 11 guests in individual comfort. The lounge has a 70 inch LED TV and there's also a TV in the master, second and third bedrooms, so there's a private place for each couple or guest to retreat to.
The master King bedroom complete with WIR has an ensuite with bath, as does the main bathroom, perfect to soak in after a hard day of sightseeing. *Please note baths are soaking tubs and not spas* The 2nd Queen bedroom also enjoys an ensuite and bedrooms 3 & 4 have King beds. Even parking is plentiful and convenient - with 2 car spaces in the secure ground floor car park, complete with lift access.

Our fourth time here in as many years, the location is unbeatable and the layout and broad facilities of the penthouse are great. We have noticed over the years that the provisions inside need an update. E.g. for a place that can sleep up to 8 or more, there should be enough mugs, cups, wine glasses etc. we needed to request a new toaster while we were there (which was promptly delivered thank you) but generally things are getting a bit tired.

The position of the property and it amenities are outstanding. However housekeeping requires attention. Food and dust piles under furniture (lounge) Floor and bathroom bare minimum cleaning done Taps and light switches broken, Bbq left in a disgusting mess and even after our host cleaned it we were put off and didn't use it. Toilet seats are wobbly, toilet roll holders broken and toilet rolls slide off. Small bugs on kitchen surfaces. For the amount I paid expected better standard. The lounge is full of stained and the cushions were filthy unable to sit on. Table top outside required a scrub. TV kept going out, the fridge needs a new seal, ashtray on balcony filled with cigarettes, shower screens dirty with soap scum, and the kettle filthy unable to use. bbq switch not working.We would have rebooked for next Xmas but **** NO!

This property makes you say wow as soon as you walk in the door. The views are 360 degrees. Kitchen and living room is large which made it great for family game night. The rooftop pool was the highlight

Spa baths don't function. Hot tub only had two jets working. Have video and photo evidence as they repeatedly deny this. Place is neglected, musty,dusty, filthy lounge, mould on the window sill in one of the rooms. Agency don't do anything to bring the place back to what it should be for the money you pay. We left after it was quite obvious they weren't going fix the hot tub all week even though they reckon its inspected weekly. Bollocks. We left on the 2nd day and got a refund from Air BnB as they agreed the hosts were in violation of the agreement. Stay at Port Stephens will bend over backwards (not for you) to keep the the facade going instead of just forcing the owner to fix the property and all of its amenities. More excuses than a politician. Please look elsewhere, avoid this agency and save your money. Don't say I didn't warn you

Check in was smooth and easy , the views from the rooftop are amazing , close to all amenties and very spacious apartment , however the cleanliness leaves alot to be desired , there was food scraps and bits of toys from a game board under the couches from the previous occupants , crumbs on the couch, spiderwebs in bedrooms and bathroom , dust all over the kitchen cupboards , dirt / mud on the wrap around balcony and weeds everywhere , toilet seat that was broken ! I would recommend that you hire a different cleaning company as I can see this beautiful apartment being ruined if you do not up keep and maintain this property as it deserves

very happy with the property again. Aaron is a very informative and helpful property manager. i know that its a busy time but we had fat from the exhaust drip onto an item that was sitting on the stove. the stove wasn't on but the light was. everything else was spot on.

Out of almost 20 years of having g a weekend away with friends, this would have to be the best place we have stayed at for location. Parked our cara and didne need them again until we left and the apartment itself was just perfect. Can't wait to rebook next year.

We booked the property for the heated pool and spa of which did not work for half the period of our stay. It took a lot of time up on calls and emails to get it fixed. The bbq and deck outside was very dirty and the place felt a little run down. It was ok but not what we were expecting from the photos.

Perfect spot for getting around town. The spa and roof terrace are amazing and the spa is heated. Great for those lazy afternoons. Kitchen and living area is very spacious and great for 8 people. Two main bedrooms were tops. Beds very comfortable. A/C want able to be used as dripping water into the main bedroom but we didn’t need it at this time of year. The two smaller rooms are very small but ok for younger children. Property managers were really responsive to a few issues we had. Overall a great unit.

the property location was fabulous. The actual apartment for space and facilities was also terrific. Some of the appliances are old ands tired, including a microwave that when used the surround fell off. The washing machine was dirty and the one of the two BBQ's was very dirty and unusable. The area was great with terrific Indian and Italian restaurants. A great place to stay and a wonderful location

Unfortunately it was not clean and is in need of a good bit of maintenance.There are no instruction on operating the spa so it is little bit of pot luck on setting it up, the same goes with the oven. A lot of little thing such as toilet seats coming off, dirty aircon vents, uncleaned BBQ etc It is a beautiful place with great views that could be so much better with a little bit of TLC.

We had a lovely weekend away. The unit is in a great position and has a fabulous view with plenty of space for 10 people.For the price though there were parts of it that need to be fixed and tidied up. The tiles around the spa were broken; there was mould on the windows and sills in the bedroom; showers and toilet seat were broken in the both ensuites. The dishwasher was broken and not enough tea towels provided to wash up. We booked to 10 people but thre was only enough linen for 8 people. There were ashtrays on the balcony that were full and cigarette butts scattered around.

Apartment was stunning but poorly maintained. Spa lights were out, and the lighting on the roof top was poor and most lights were out around the pool. This was inconvenient at night as you wont able to see much when swimming in the evening, and made it quiet dangerous for kids as the stairs are quiet steep. Some of the stairs had loose panels and screws missing. The door were the chemicals were stored was smashed to bits and exposed. The was sand in the bottom of the pool and the chemicals used in the water were quiet strong. The outdoor seating was also poor as cushions were only provided for a few, and one chair was torn at the top. The fridge shelfs were smashed and one was completely missing on the door. Couches need a steam clean and cushions need a wash. Verandas require a proper clean with a gurney. Kitchen requires a full clean in draws in cupboards as there were bits of food in draws and the vent was oily. The beds were very comfortable and linen was squeaky clean. Apartment is highly recommended for the view and location, but apartment needs some fixing and maintenance. Until this is complete, it is overpriced.

the property location was fabulous. The actual apartment for space and facilities was also terrific. Some of the appliances are old ands tired, including a microwave that when used the surround fell off. The washing machine was dirty and the one of the two BBQ's was very dirty and unusable.

Not value for money, completely let down and disappointed with what we got! The photos look great and they must have been taken when the place was built! Appartment cant be described as 4 bedroom, its 2 bedroom with 2 bedrooms for kids!

We had a lovely weekend away. The unit is in a great position and has a fabulous view with plenty of space for 10 people.
For the price though there were parts of it that need to be fixed and tidied up. The tiles around the spa were broken; there was mould on the windows and sills in the bedroom; showers and toilet seat were broken in the both ensuites. The dishwasher was broken and not enough tea towels provided to wash up. We booked to 10 people but thre was only enough linen for 8 people. There were ashtrays on the balcony that were full and cigarette butts scattered around.

The apartment is very centrally located in Nelson Bay with easy walking distance to the marina but still quiet. The apartment is spacious & well appointed, we especially loved the rooftop spa & pool. Moving in & out was easy & the owners were lovely & ensured everything was right for us. Would definitely recommend staying here we loved it!

Apartment was stunning but poorly maintained.
Spa lights were out, and the lighting on the roof top was poor and most lights were out around the pool. This was inconvenient at night as you wont able to see much when swimming in the evening, and made it quiet dangerous for kids as the stairs are quiet steep. Some of the stairs had loose panels and screws missing. The door were the chemicals were stored was smashed to bits and exposed. The was sand in the bottom of the pool and the chemicals used in the water were quiet strong. The outdoor seating was also poor as cushions were only provided for a few, and one chair was torn at the top. The fridge shelfs were smashed and one was completely missing on the door. Couches need a steam clean and cushions need a wash. Verandas require a proper clean with a gurney. Kitchen requires a full clean in draws in cupboards as there were bits of food in draws and the vent was oily. The beds were very comfortable and linen was squeaky clean. Apartment is highly recommended for the view and location, but apartment needs some fixing and maintenance. Until this is complete, it is overpriced.
