Poor
Everything old and in a bad condition, not safe for children!!!

breakfast was OK given the number of people to be fed. always enough options and very well behaved and attentive staff.
worn down location that needs a refurbishment
bathrooms and corridors and elevators very dirty - giving a sense of 2-3 stars locations.
beds - clean and comfortbale.

The yard is nice with lots of flowers and trees, with different spots for resting, thick shadow, having a drink with friends, playing a board game etc. The concept of the place is nice, for families with kids. Spacious rooms, good bed, good location of the resort, close to the sea, very kind and helpful personnel. There are drugstore and small shops in the complex. Good, fresh bread, baked on spot. Good salads. Lack of noisy music on the beach or nearby. Toilets on the beach + mini shower.
The buildings and the rooms needs to be renovated and updated: exterior of the building is old, interior design is old although the walls were freshly painted. The plinth (plinta) in the rooms is detached, horrible pillows (impossible to sleep on), tiny tv set, dust arround the curtains. Interior pool is old and semi clean. Although the resort was full to the max, the exterior pools were totally unheated. Not many options for the meals close to the complex. The food in the complex was all inclusive type (big quantity but poor quality: e.g. pangasus fish, bad sausages, the taste of food in general was so so). The entertaining program for kids was poor. Entertainers screaming in the microphone, pretending to be jolly expecting kids to become joyful just because they scream and jump. The repertoire of the artist guest on 1st of June, inappropriate for kids. The beach is in horrible condition, full of shells and washed by the waves in such way that you had to climb to reach to the water. The kids could not enjoy the beach. The sun umbrellas are old and dirty.

I was pleasantly surprised by this resort. I have not been on the Romanian Seaside in 20 years.
Everything was above expectation. Every step of the way someone was cleaning, sweeping, mopping. The pools were very clean, the private beach was clean with bathrooms set up nearby. The staff was kind, professional. The food was excellent and the dining room was well ran and organized.
They had great activities for kids and adults, with competent and professional staff.
Just two suggestions: empower your front desk more to make decisions and streamline check in check out better, to be faster. Every question people asked resulted in the ladies running in the back to ask someone or making a phonecall, creating a backlog.
Please pay attention to not have smokers around the areas where you gather kids for activities. We were gathered for a kids workout, with a repairman smoking a cigarette while working in the same area. He immediately put it out when asked, but it shouldn’t even happen.

We liked the food & the location, the spacious room, the evening activities.
The bathroom was from a different era, the soap dispenser was not working and although we asked to be fixed, nothing happened. The sun beds are old and very used

Nice swimming pool, large apartment with terrace and sea view.
Very noisy restaurant. Old gym equipment stored near the swimming pool. The shower fell off the wall but it was fixed quickly.

It is kids friendly
Needs a refurbishment. Needs more diversity to the food options.

Fair food quality, options for everyone. Pools are clean. The whole complex is fairly clean. Large sea side beach, clean and plenty of space.
Staff were wearing t-shirts with passive-aggressive messages. In Romanian, the text on their t-shirts was saying "daca ai fite, du-te in alta parte". An approximative translation is "if you are picky, go somewhere else". The message gave me mixed feelings as the word "fite" in Romanian has an imprecise meaning. It might suggests someone that is rude or aggressive towards the staff but it also might suggest someone who's looking to get fair services for the money they paid. Might be some local cultural related message, I guess that the whole idea is to let rude and aggressive guests that they will not be tolerated, whatever that means (?!). As a family resort, they should have come with better messages expressing the need of staff to be treated correctly and that the guests should feel welcomed. Something like "we're all family" or better.
The whole resort is noisy in the evening due to being between the main road and concerts/sing-alongs on the beach.

The food was very good
The room was dusty, very low quality in terms in furniture, bathroom. You could easily see that it was made for the masses, not for quality.

Great facilities, excellent food, comfortable rooms, it’s a kind of oldie but goodie place, will definitely come back!
1. Even if the rooms are big and nice decorated, there are some accessories which are definitely old with clear signs of wear (the hair dryer, the TV which is just a little bit bigger than a smartphone:) , all the toilet accessories).
2. The sun beds on the beach are placed quite far from the shore, behind a sand dune, I felt like in the desert, you can’t even see the sea when sitting.
But this is not the hotel fault and is due to recent beach development works. I’ve been told that situation will be improved from July

The appartment: comfortable beds, clean linen, spacious living-room and large terrace; the bathroom with very rusty plumming, though.
No daily cleaning, as there was no house-keeping during our three-night stay. To make things worst: neither coffee, nor tea - with no possibility to make some tea in a 2-bedroom (and a 4-star) accomodation.

The bed in the room is exceptional :) extremely big, and confortable!
The food is good, not exceptional but very good. You can choose between a wide variety. The non alcoholic drinks, on the other side need improvement.
The facilities are exceptional. A lot of pools, activities and enterteinment modalities for kids. Is definitely a kids friendly facility.
Before my holiday here, i read in the reviews that at the beach there are no chair available due to people who leave their towels there all day but never show up. It is not the case anymore. They solved this. If someone leaves his towel at the beach for more than 30min-1h and doesn’t come back, the employs pick it up!
I guess they are really trying to fix things up...
The fact that it was not clean! The flat were i stayed was clean, but the elevator for sooo extremely dirty! Also the pool floor was partly also dirty and they only cleaned it when we told them.
