地理位置离六甲山缆车500米,距离很近,徒步很方便
设施比较有年代感了,定了半食宿早上没有morning call导致早餐时间错过了没吃上,只能白白浪费钱了

The onsen and the meals provided were excellent as expected. Did not expect puffer fish on my salad though. Tasted excellent and no side effects
The location was near to the train station and bus stop. But there is a difficult steep slope to push the luggage up to the hotel. The main road to the entrance is twice as long but I suspect it is a quick trip if you take the taxi from the train station.

The property is dated but clean and quiet and well maintained. In house onsen is the iron and salt water and is great. Dinner is good. You get served a full Japanese dinner. We stayed two days and both days the menu was different. The breakfast consists of both Japanese and Western menu. Surrounding area is quiet and near hiking paths. We were near to the arima ropeway station (500 meters) .
Location is about 20-30 mins walk from arima onsen train station. However the walk to the hotel is through the town Main Street which is narrow and when you are near, the route becomes very very steep (about 45 degree inclination). May not be advisable for the elderly to take this route. Tried to call the hotel for a ride from the station but call could not get through. There are no convenient stores near the hotel except the hotel souvenir store but there are vending machines selling drinks. Onsen is not very large but opens till late.

Staff there were all cheerful and friendly. Ramen at night was a bonus:)
We were given a “nursing home” type of room without explanation. The room was spacious but felt odd

The breakfast buffet was sufficient with good choices of mostly Japanese food. We booked a half-board and the dinner course (Japanese) was excellent. The 'Tatami' rooms are spacious and could even accommodate a full family. The view from the room was partly towards mountains and partly onto other hotel buildings. They have only the common/shared Gold hotspring bath (yellow-brown colored water), but not the Silver bath (clear colored). The hotel personnel was very kind and helpful.
The hotel building is a large concrete construction, not traditionally Japanese nor western style, not very pretty or cozy. It is located above the Arima Onsen village and the walk to the village center, through steep ways with many souvenirs shops, takes 15 - 30 min. depending on the direction. My mother, at 92, had to rest several times when going uphill. There was a construction work going on near the hotel, with loud noises.

Staff are very friendly. Meals (dinner and breakfast) were just right amount and tasty. Arima Onsen is only 30 min away from airport and Kobe. Great location to visit and experience Onsen.
Coffee service in room?
0.5 / 5.0
No service for transferring Luggages up to the rooms
Bad service
Bad dinner
I have requested for the kobe beef 3 days before reservations. But no answer and no beef finally
Wrong room type .
As I have reserved a room for two guests, it only gave me a room with 1 guest, and forgot to prepare our meals.
And super time consuming during checking-in as no staff knows how to speak English.
