About this apartment rental
A large comfortable 1550 square foot Charming, cheerful, and colorful Mexican decor home. Two very spacious in suite bedroom/bathrooms and comfortable king beds with seating areas. Take a look at the 50 up to date photos below that clearly show this. The home has a fully equipped kitchen. Maid service is supplied 6 days a week. Vista Del Sol is a very highly sought after building with an excellent reputation. The building is right on the famous Los Muertos beach and the quite south side of the malecon walkway right in the heart of the Zona Romantica. There's a very large heated rooftop pool. The pool has salt filtration for your well being. The rooftop area is huge with a lot of loungers , shaded area and private areas and a spectacular 360 degree view. Rooftop area has a large BBQ under a large shaded palapa with a sink. Many tables and chairs to enjoy. There are also excellent views of the ocean, city and mountains from all windows and rooms of the home. Condo 802 has a large balcony with comfortable seating overlooking the beach and views of the city and mountains. The home is at the end of the hallway for added privacy. Vista Del Sol is an outstanding location within flat walking distance to hundreds of restaurants, shops and countless other amenities. There is even a restaurant and bar with beach service in the building. The home has air conditioning and fans. They are not normally needed due to a great natural cross ventilation that comes through the spacious windows including the 2 bathrooms. There are two new hotel grade king size beds in each of the 2 bedroom suites. 2 very comfortable futon type sofas in the living room for guest 5 and 6. Condo 802 is a fully furnished and functioning home. There is 24 hour English and Spanish speaking reception, concierge, and security. No fears if you arrive late because the keys are available 24/7 at the front desk. There is street parking in front if you have a car. We have laundry facilities available for your needs on the property. The maid does general cleaning 6 days a week. There are two elevators in the building and very large lobby and meeting area with a lot of comfortable seating areas. All towels including beach towels and bedding are supplied and cleaned at no additional cost. Vista Del Sol is a very popular building and holds an excellent reputation for years for it's beauty and excellently maintained quality. We have a full maintenance staff on property to maintain the entire building to the highest standards. Most of all condo 802 is highly sought after all year long and year after year because of it's ideal LOCATION. You can easily and safely walk about the area and the extent of the malecon right in front along the famous Los Muertos beach front which extends the length of the old town area. The beachfront has many restaurants and bars with beach service.
We all know what is said about real estate, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. And this home definitely has that.
You will want to stay, you will not want to leave and you will want to return. This is the feelings from many of my past guests.

Staff English great however spanish as well. Conciege excellent to us all found us our transpotation sites and directions when walking. Secutity made some family that was worried feel very safe. Pool awesome. Food and shops surrounding close steps away great! Stores and vendors polite.
View from condo beautiful. Condo had all our needs for coffee. Blnder for drinks and we left some items like sugar, coffee other small things for next guests like they did for us!
We left cash gratuity for all staff.

Perfect location on the Melacon. Walking distance to many local bars and restaurants. Beautifully appointed large 2 bedroom home with comfortable balcony overlooking the bay. Daily housekeeping. Nice pool with great views on the rooftop. Secured gate with 24 hour guards. We’ll definitely stay here again and again!

This was my family's first time in PV and we wanted to be in the heart of the town and explore the local food spots, shopping and beaches. This location provided all that and more. We were in walking distance of the tourist like restaurants on the malecón and the local food stands and taquerias where locals eat and we enjoyed both. I highly recommend Panchos Takos for the best authentic street taco experience (about 2 block east of the condo).
The building and concierge service was an added bonus. The building is under servailance and security 24/7 and there's cleaning service everyday if you like. My son broke a glass on the second day, which I had no problem replacing, but don't expect any cleaning supply in the condo. I had to go down to administration and file an order for someone to clean up the glass. There's also no washer or dryer in the condo as I thought there would be. The washer and dryer is in the basement of the building and if you would like to wash/dry a load there's a $75 peso fee per hour to use them. This got complicated because I had to go out and buy laundry soap since none is provided. Once I washed my clothes I noticed the washer did not even clean our clothes properly, so my recommendation is to just avoid using their washer and dryer. It was just not worth it. Oher than that, the property is beautiful and location is perfect.

If you're looking for authentic Mexico decor with the modern amenities of home, this condo can't be beat. We were footsteps from restaurants, shops, and the ocean. The sunset view from the balcony is second to none and the breeze from the ocean cools the entire unit when you don't want to use A/C. We would stay here again!

My wife and I were impressed when we got out of the taxi and into the lobby. The 24 hr door service is nice to have. The room was very clean. Had a view of the ocean. No AC but fans throughout on the ceilings. The rooftop pool was under construction for another month I think it will be done in June. I could maybe throw a rock from the balcony and hit the beach that’s how close it is. Also in a great location you can walk to all of the parts of PV. We plan to come back if we can find this booking open again.

Unfortunately our stay was upended by my wife taking a tumble on the streets. The staff at the condo were super helpful throughout and even provided a wheelchair to use for the remainder of the stay.

First time at Vista del Sol although have been vacationing in PV for 30 years. Very comfortable home. Nice to have maid service and on-site personnel to help with any issues. Best recommendation I can give is that I would return if unit is available. Really great to be able to walk to so many places!!!

We loved the building and amenities. Everyone is super friendly and the location is perfect. I’ve been coming to this area for over 20 years, first by myself in my 20’s and then with family and friends. This was a fabulous place to come home to each day, and the owner is wonderful to work with. We are super appreciative!

My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights in Rob's condo in mid September. The photos don't do it justice. It's absolutely beautiful, and the view from the balcony is stunning!
The place was clean, had great linens, plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery, and cook ware. The appliances we used were all in great working order. The furniture was comfortable, including the bed, and there's plenty of space for two couples.
The area is perfect for both old and young. It's quiet at night, bustling during the day, and within walking distance of anything you want to do- beach, bars, food, pharmacy, discos, and souvenir shopping, to name a few. It's also just a short drive from the airport.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Thanks again, Rob, for being a great host!

We enjoyed every bit of our stay at this beautiful property. The building and neighborhood were safe, clean and had so much character. Many mornings were spent in rooftop pool or lounging in the chairs near it, and many evenings were spent exploring the delicious restaurants nearby. I loved the firm, high quality beds and our attentive housekeeper. The ocean views from the balcony were gorgeous and falling asleep to the sound of waves was just how I wanted to spend my vacation. We’ll be back!

This place is just as described and seen in the photos. It is in a great part of Puerto Vallarta and right on the beach. The view from the balcony and master bedroom is lovely. Would recommend!

This lovely condo has an excellent view, wonderful to sit on the balcony; especially during the lightning and thunderstorms. Sunset is georgous. Close to beach at your feet, walking to restaurants and the Malecon. Perfect location. Inside is full two bedrooms and baths, kitchen, and dining room for sitting inside and chit chatting with family.

To celebrate my 60th birthday, I chose this place and invited my older sister because of the ideal location and safety of the building. The pictures and description regarding this rental are accurate and do not this condo justice for 'a vacation in paradise' to quote my sister.
Make sure to pack a pair of sturdy running shoes as exploring all the nearby shops, eateries and strolling along the boardwalk since some terrain is challenging for flip flops.
We met some amazing, friendly tenants while enjoying the roof top pool and found about local coffee shops and grocery places they recommended. The concierge staff offered superior customer service with all their help and recommendations as well.
All in all, it was a great celebration week...and we hope to return with a longer stay in then future!

This is a spacious, airy, and lovely condo with that rarest of things in PV, a fabulous cross-breeze! The condo is situated in such a way that there are excellent views as well, ocean, mountains, and town….magical, especially after dark when you can watch the Pirate ship sailing in the harbour!
The beds are firm and supportive; for me the result was two weeks of zero back pain, which is amazing in a holiday rental! All of the furniture is of excellent quality, including the outdoor area where we could be comfortable for hours.
The kitchen is very well equipped; plenty of tools, cutlery, serving bowls, plates, pots and pans…everything a cook could ask for, including plenty of counter space! Bathrooms are large and charming, with lovely tile work, and excellent plumbing, etc.
The entire condo is immaculately clean and well maintained, and the building staff are helpful and informative.
The host (Rob) is very kind and responsive and clearly cares a great deal about both this property, and his guests. In short, this condo is like a beloved home that we had the privilege of living in for two weeks, and we are eagerly looking forward to our return!

After having to cancel 2 years in a row due to covid, we're so happy we were finally able to stay at this amazing property! The location couldn't be more perfect and had all the comforts of home along with the authentic atmosphere inside the property. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and views from the deck. We had a very comfortable, enjoyable and affordable stay in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. The location is perfect - right on the beach Malecon. The beach and ocean views were fantastic. Location can’t be beat as literally everything in Romantic Zone and Cento is walkable from this centralized beach spot. Staff is very friendly. We were quite concerned arriving the same afternoon as major Hurricane Roslyn was set to make landfall with near direct hit to PV within 12 hours. Our host Rob personally called with information and reassurances. Everything turned out wonderful.

This is an amazing property. The property owner did a great job keeping this authentic while still giving you the necessities.
This place is so clean and authentic you feel at home. The location can not be near a quick walk to so many places and great food all around.
The one call out I have is that for beach chairs you have to walk a bit. The restaurant normally located here was closed for us so we had to walk to a restaurant that offered beach chair rental which was about 4 restaurants down. Not a big deal but for those not sure where to go just walk on down and you have to be ordering food/drinks to use them. Also not a big deal because the prices are amazing!!
I travel a lot for work and stay in some amazing places and I would for sure rent this place again!

This place was perfect. Right on the beach, with a view of the rainforest from one side of the balcony and the beach from the other side. The accommodations themselves were absolutely wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed, the parrot decor was beautiful, and the cleaning lady Marisol kept the place absolutely spotless - she even made us some incredible swans out of towel. The location was very safe and right in the heart of downtown. Definitely hope to go back some day.

Wonderful Ocean Views
The property is a bit run down it just needs a bit of TLC but it is decorated in a lovely Mexican décor. We were not notified that the pool was going to be closed until after our cancel date and that really changed our expectations of the trip. They did allow us to use another condo's pool but it was small and down the street and we only went once. The air conditioning in the second bedroom barely worked so my kids complained. My favorite was coffee on patio taking in the ocean views. The location is great if you want to be in the thick of it all. The staff were amazing and Rob(the owner) was very helpful when we reached out with concerns.

The beds are large and very comfortable, and there are two en-suite bathrooms. Towels and linens are good quality. Our favorite spot in the apartment is the balcony. We ate most of our at home meals here, enjoying the breeze, and views of both the beach and the mountains. There's an excellent view off the back walkway too. On the night of the lunar eclipse, we brought our chairs out there, and watched the moon disappear, above the beautiful lights of the city.
Everything we wanted was close at hand. Shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the malecon, just outside the door. The Sea Monkey Cafe on the ground level has great beach tables and loungers with umbrellas. This is definitely the place to be for sunset-watching, but it's also beautiful off the apartment balcony.

Ceiling fans in every room, and AC in both bedrooms made the hot afternoons and evenings of mid-May comfortable.
Our host Rob was helpful as we planned our trip, and once we had arrived. He responded to our queries promptly, and made sure we had everything we needed.
