The apartment Kylltal is located in the heart of the Eifel town of Birresborn, and offers cozy, spacious and comfortable leisure enjoyment for up to 10 people on its 210m². The apartment, which was completely renovated in 2017, is the ideal starting point for bike tours, hikes or fly fishing on the Kyll.
The apartment extends over two floors and offers a living room with a large living area and flat screen, a dining room with fireplace, a comfortably furnished kitchen incl. Dishwasher, 3 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with bunk beds, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. One of the bedrooms has a sofa bed that can be used as an additional bed for two people.
A special highlight is the sauna and relax area. On a total of 35m² you can relax and unwind after an eventful day.
You can store your bikes safely in a storage room.

The apartment, which was completely refurbished in 2017, offers space for up to 10 people on a living space of approx. 210 sqm.
The apartment has a total of 4-5 bedrooms.
Room 1:
Space for 2-4 people. Equipped with a double bed and also with a sofa, which is available as a sofa bed for two children (or adults) if required.
Room 2 and room 3:
Each for 2 people. Equipped with a double bed
Room 4:
Preferably for two children. Equipped with a bunk bed. The beds measure 0.9mx2m and could also be used by adults.
Two bathrooms:
Each floor offers a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, and 1-2 wash basins.
Kitchen:
The modern fitted kitchen is equipped with an oven, 4 ceramic hob, fridge and dishwasher. In the cupboards you will find dishes for 10 people as well as the necessary kitchen tools. And of course we also provided a machine for a delicious cup of coffee. There is also an ironing board and iron.
Dining room:
Right next to the kitchen is the dining room, with space for the whole group. On cool days, a fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere and invites you to linger. There is a high chair for small children.
Living room:
A large living area in the living room is certainly the central meeting point after an eventful day of vacation. The ideal place to relax, for pleasant conversations, games, or to watch TV on the 52 “flat screen TV. Various board games and a small book collection are available.
Sauna and relax area:
This includes a Finnish sauna (2mX2m), a shower, and a relaxation area with lying areas. You also have direct access to the inner courtyard, where you can cool off from the crowd.
The rest area could also be used as a fifth bedroom
Leisure:
For an excursion by bike we can provide you with two adult bikes and two children's bikes. If you need more, or the sizes don't fit, you can also rent bikes in the village for a fee.
Location and surroundings
Birresborn is located in the Vulkaneifel at about 350 m above sea level and is part of the Vulkaneifel nature and geopark. The Salmwald, of which large parts belong to Birresborn, is one of the core and quiet zones of the nature park.
Around 65% of the total area of 2,087 ha is forested and invites you to take long walks and hikes. The Kylltal cycle path leading through our town and the close connection to the Eifelsteig also delight guests and locals.
The paradise for fly fishermen should also be mentioned in particular: the Kyll. Known far beyond the borders of our region, fly fishing in Birresborn is very popular.
In the village there is a bakery, two restaurants with good cuisine, a vegetable shop and, in an emergency, a doctor and a bicycle dealer / factory town. Everything easy to reach on foot. The best shopping opportunities can be found in the larger neighboring town of Gerolstein, which is about a 10-minute drive away. The train station with direct connection to Cologne and Trier is only a few minutes' walk from the apartment.

Tolle Wohnung und nette Vermieter
Zunächst einmal: Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Altbau und ist daher verwinkelt. Der Zugang erfolgt ebenerdig von einem kostenlosen Parkplatz aus.
Aufgrund Kicker, Dart, Sauna, PlayStation und Fernseher ist auch für schlechtes Wetter vorgesorgt.
Die Bäder sind modern, die Zimmer liebevoll ausgestattet und die Küche umfangreich ausgerüstet.
Wir waren nur zu dritt da und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das war quasi eine Schnuppertour, da wir planen, mit der Familie nochmal zu kommen.
Die Vermieter waren total nett und hilfsbereit, aber nicht aufdringlich.
Wir können die Unterkunft daher uneingeschränkt weiterem.

Tolle Unterkunft für große Gruppen
Das Objekt ist riesen groß und bietet ausreichend Platz für 10 Personen. Beide Bäder sind sehr modern. Die Sauna und gut ausgestatte Küche wertet die FeWo noch weiter auf. Die Betten und Couch sind bequem. Einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass Wohnzimmer mit der Couch zum rumhängen und großer Küchentisch räumlich getrennt sind, dass heißt man muss sich entscheiden, wo man sitzt. Der Kontakt zur Familie Ahrens ist unkompliziert, schnell und freundlich. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Super saubere FeWo - empfehlenswert
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Auffenthalt in der großen und modern eingerichteten Wohnung. Die Vermieter waren sehr bemüht um unsere Zufriedenheit. Wir bekamen noch eine Mail vorab mit näheren Informationen zum Schlüssel und Parkmöglichkeiten. Auch während des Aufenthalts waren sie immer als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet und ideal für große Familie/Freunde usw. Der leckere Bäcker ist genau nebenan. Ebenfalls eine Ärztin und Banken. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Die Wohnung ist super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Die Ausstattung ist gut, praktisch und in Details liebevoll. Die Lage an der Hauptstraße ist nicht jedermanns Sache, vor allem nachts. Man kann aber auch im Wellnessbereich schlafen ;-), der nach hinten raus geht und absolute Ruhe garantiert. Der Wellness-Bereich und der liebevoll gestaltete Innenhof sind der Hammer!

Sympathische sehr freundliche Vermieter .
Die Wohnung liegt in einem kleinen Eifel Dorf. Es gibt dort einen hervorragenden Bäcker und direkt gegenüber ein gut bürgerliches empfehlenswertes Lokal.
Weitere Einkäufe müssen in dem ca.7 km entfernten Gerolstein erledigt werden .Das lässt sich gut einrichten da es dort viele Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf gibt .
Es gibt zahlreiche Wanderwege und lokale Gastronomie zu entdecken und die Eiffel Landschaft ist wunderbar abwechslungsreich.
Die Wohnung ist sowohl für Familien als auch für Wandergruppen bestens geeignet .
Einziges Manko, sie liegt an einer Durchgangsstrasse .
Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt und es gibt eine unbedingte Weiterempfehlung.

Tolle FeWo, gepflegt und vielseitig, die fast keine Wünsche offen lässt. Supernette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Einziges kleines Manko ist die auch von Schwerlastverkehr stark befahrene Straße, auch nachts. Fahren aber trotzdem gerne wieder dort hin, die Wohnung ist einfach zu gut 👍🏼 von uns fünf Sterne

Das war eine super Unterkunft. Wandern ist rund herum prima möglich. Restaurant und Pizza/Döner gegenüber. Großes Esszimmer, großes Wohnzimmer, richtige (eigene) Bar am Hinterausgang. Freies Parken ist dort auch möglich, Bäcker um die Ecke. Unsere Gruppe fand das Objekt perfekt und sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir fanden das Haus sehr gut ausgestettet. Besonders hatten die Kinder ihren Spass da ein Kicker und eine Play Station vorhanden ist. Auch die vorhandenen Gesellschaftspiele nahmen wir geren in Anspruch. Der Auffenhalt fanden alle sehr gut. Leider konnten wir aus Zeitgründen die Sauna nicht benutzen. Auch Dank an unseren freundlichen Vermieter der uns vor Ort alles zeigte. Gerne wieder, ist zu empfehlen.

Eine tolle Zeit in unserem 4 Generationen Kurztripp
Uns hat es in dem Ferienhaus in Birresborn sehr gut angetroffen. Der Check In war sehr einfach, die Vermieter jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man braucht. Uns wurde sogar ein Gasgrill zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Haus befindet sich in unmittelbarer Umgebung zu Attraktionen. Einziges Manko haben wir mit der Lage direkt neben der Kirche empfunden, da diese in den Morgenstunden ziemlich laut zu hören ist. Wir würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.
