Plenty of room.the house was set up well to accommodate a large group while also providing many places that allowed to be set away from the group. The house was also stocked very well

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pico house. Plenty of room for everyone to relax after skiing all day. Great location with easy walk to Pico slopes. Will definitely consider re-renting this property!

We had a wonderful stay at The Original Pico House! With 6 adults and 6 teens (16-18) we had plenty of room for everyone. The teens enjoyed having their own space in the bunk rooms and downstairs TV room. They had a great time with the Wii game system - it was a blast from the past!
The main living area was nice for spreading out. We enjoyed time by the fire, card games at the table, and watching the football game out in the 4 season porch. There was enough room so that no one in our group felt crowded.
We came for a ski weekend, one day at Killington and one day at Pico. The house location couldn’t be better! We walked to Pico and rode the shuttle from the Pico parking lot to Killington - it was awesome!
We’ll hope to be back soon.

Great Location, Perfect for 12 People
Perfect location, 10 min away from Killington resort and right on Pico Mountain. Good sized house, fit 12 people comfortably. Not the cleanest house in the world, but not the worst. No real complaints here, except for the basement being musty, but we would book again if we had to.

Wish I had more kids for that bunk room
The house was perfect for our situation. I had 4 kids downstairs in the bunk room and they had a blast down there without disturbing anyone. There was all the cooking supplies to be able to cook breakfast, the house is older but clean, beds comfortable , nice firepit, spacious. We had one hot day and the fans were nice to have.

Primo location...entire house in need of full upgrade
We very much enjoyed the location of the house which was about as good as it gets...location, location, location as they say in real estate. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives stop as the house was VERY DIRTY, quite old and in need of serious upgrades / repairs everywhere you looked. Everything was dated - linens, appliances, furniture, etc., etc. - and didn’t seem to be well cared for over many, many years which was quite unfortunate. Given the price point of ~$1300 / night, one would expect a decent interior / exterior with modest amenities but this house unfortunately fell short in many respects. It could be as simple as taking one seasons worth of rental income and reinvesting back into the house to bring it up to par for a house at the current price point.

Cozy Stay for Large Group
Looking forward to visiting again in the winter as it is literally right next to the slopes. With a very large party, this place still offered us the space we needed to comfortably sleep 17 people. Plenty of space for all of us to mingle, cook, and eat all in one space. This place basically had everything we could’ve asked for.....only one thing we all wished for was a hot tub ;)

Solid House
Exactly what we expected. Place suited our multiple families perfectly. The only thing that would make it better would be a hot tub on that deck!!

Pico house
A small group of us stayed for the weekend while attending the Spartan races. The house is very nice! There is plenty of room, beds, long lasting hot water, plenty of showers, and just over all a great place. The kitchen is set up nice to have a good group dinner, though this year we did not. I hope to stay hear every year for the Spartan events.

Perfect place for family gathering
We rented this house for family gathering, enough for 7 couples and the children. There are plenty of toys for small children. The bedrooms are well maintained, but the lower level bedrooms with bunk beds are humid, maybe need dehumidifiers. The kitchen is fabulous with complete appliances. The location is perfect, close to Killington ski resort and lots of restaurants. Carrie is a very responsible and helpful person. We had problem with the heating and the plumber fixed it right away.
Overall we are very satisfied with this stay. I would highly recommend this house.

Perfect for a large group
I rented this house for a large group - about 16 total for a big Spartan Race weekend in Killington. This house really delivered! We cooked a huge dinner in the large kitchen Friday evening. The bedrooms are extremely accomodating - we had some couples and many singles staying here and the house had so many beds! It's a beautiful, well taken-care of home. We plan on booking it again next year!

Large comfy retreat
Stayed here off season for a family wedding. 14 adults shared this home for 2 nights and there was plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms for all. Five couples had private sleeping space and all the single folks had at least a double bed. The house was bright and clean upon arrival. The kitchen had plenty of glasses, dishes, flatware, pots, and pans. There were plenty of linens. The lower level did have a musty smell. That is where the common bedrooms were. The washer dryer units looked pretty new. We needed to get into the house a little early and that was no problem at all. Overall a great house for a crowd. We would recommend it.

Loved it!
My family and I were together for a long weekend. We had families traveling from Connecticut but also upstate Vermont, and New Hampshire. The location was perfect! The house is wonderful with plenty of room for everyone and room to spare!
Thank you Carrie - it was just what we wanted for our family get together. You were wonderful to work with and so responsive!
All the best,
Laura

Birthday Ski Weekend
We spent a mid march weekend with 3 families in the Pico House to celebrate my Wife's birthday and we had a great time. Everything in the house was clean and functioned well as was reported in the specs for the house and the other reviews. If you need a big house for a lot of guests this is a great option. The 2 bunk rooms in the basement each have 4 beds, and some of them are doubles or queens so you can fit plenty of kids down there.

30 somethings couple's weekend a success!
The Original Pico house was nothing short of perfection for our group of fifteen "30 somethings" coming together for a fun ski trip over a three day weekend.
Not only were the accommodations clean and spacious but Carrie the property manager was also totally available and prompt in responding to our questions regarding garbage/driveway/cleaning maintenance.
The mud room was large enough to accommodate jackets, boots and equipment for 11 adults and driveway accommodated 5 cars. The kitchen/ living area was large enough for everyone to be able to eat, relax and play games together. There were plenty of clean linens upon arrival and the house was well stocked with cleaning supplies for maintenance throughout the weekend. Could not recommend this house more, we had an absolute blast!

Great House
Perfect location walked to Pico mountain the house is extremely accommodating from a small family or to a large family for a great vacation, the house has everything you will need, and is extremely convieninet to put on and take off your gear in the garage that leads to the mud room area. We loved our experience at this house.

Big house, responsive owners, but in need of updating
It's a true sleeping machine but considering the price paid I expected more spacious bathrooms and a more updated decor. The basement bedrooms had very small bathrooms and the entire floor smelt musty.

Loved this place! Clean, roomy, spacious! Owners incredibly professional!
This place is so spacious! We stayed here for a long weekend with several other families, all with children. The place is clean, well-maintained but still has much of the Original Pico House charm. It is within minutes away of all nearby attractions and has plenty of parking space. Added plus was a swing set in the backyard for the kids. The owner is very professional and accomodating. Would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend this place to others.

Great Pico Mountain house!
We had a great weekend at the Original Pico house! We stayed at the house with a few friends while attending a wedding near by. The house had plenty of beds to fit all of us, had all of the amenities we needed, and was in a great location right at the base of Pico mountain. Carrie was also very easy to communicate with and provided detailed instructions. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here again!

Great family vacation!!
Pico House was great for our family. There were 12 of us, including a one year old. The home was very roomy and we were able to spread out over three levels. The home was well equipped for a large group and for cooking in. The weather wasn't what we had hoped for, but the home was great.
