"This property is AWESOME! The owners keep their home in immaculate condition. They provide everything that you'll need for a great vacation. The owners were very responsive during the entire process and we really appreciated the small details that they provided like a very clear and thorough welcome guide and welcome basket.
We recently stayed over President's Weekend 2016 and we were enjoying all the snow in the backyard. You can't tell by the photos, but the backyard has many clearings in the woodlands that allow for snow playing fun. There is a nice wide open slope on the hill about 100 yards from the back door that our family enjoyed sledding on for hours. If you have kids or if you like playing in the snow, this backyard can't be beat. The woodlands are serene and expansive with many places to explore.
The hot tub was a definite plus after longs days of skiing at Squaw (about 20 min away). The ambiance lighting inside the hot tub is especially nice at night. Another small detail that we appreciated is that they pre-bagged the hot tub treatment for us so we put in the correct amount every time after use. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are well taken care of. They use hot water on demand so be patient for the hot water to come out. The kitchen is great for cooking big meals. The best gas range we've used. They have all top notch pans and cooking utensils. Our kids loved the upstairs loft with the aero beds. The kids had their own cozy hide out. The 2 car garage is wide and tall (over 10 ft). So if you have a cargo box on top of an SUV, you'll definitely fit inside without any clearance issues.
They do have 3 TVs but just be aware that they don't have cable or over the air antenna. The living room TV uses chromecast and the others are smart TVs that you'll need to logon with your own streaming account or service like Netflix or Vudu.
This place is great for families with kids. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and look forward to coming back again."

We had a lovely time at this property. The kitchen was really well stocked, all the appliances (including the hot tub) worked without any issues, there's a drinking water filter which was a nice plus, at least one of the master bedrooms had some universal chargers which was a nice bonus, and I really appreciated that each bathroom had hand soap, hand lotion, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The house was stocked with enough paper products to last our 4-day stay, and the laundry room had detergent and stain spray (clutch inclusion when you have kids). Our kids loved the location - there's a nice hill (fairly gentle slope) in the backyard that was perfect for sledding and snow play. The mattresses in the bedrooms are some sort of memory foam that everyone in our group had to get used to, but we actually really liked them once we adjusted. Also the owner/property manager was super responsive. Highly recommend!

Great property. Everything worked as advertised. Itamar communicated just to be sure everything was going smoothly. Highly Recommend!!

Wonderful house in excellent location. Loved the open space in the backyard. My kids enjoyed playing in the snow out in the back. Appreciated that the kitchen was well equipped with nice pots/ pans, dishes, and a great coffee maker. It made the transition from home seamless! Will be returning again!

Beautiful place! Clean comfortable and spacious. Location is great for a family-close to the 80 as & skiing. There had been a huge recent snowstorm so, access to the property was a bit unknown on the morning departure due to local Street plows and driveway plowing. That owner was great and communicating all the info that he had. Town of Truckee though was hard at work and those roads were open very quickly and we were able to get there And enjoy our days there!

Great for a large family or two . Plenty of room and bathrooms . If have a large group I recommend bringing your own air mattress for the loft . Air mattress at house is very uncomfortable . Don’t forget your Hulu or Netflix account info so you can watch Tv . We had a wonderful stay with our families .

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights for a January ski vacation and had a great experience! We had two families with 6 teenagers, half of whom skied and half who didn't. Everyone had a great time - the house was super comfortable with memory foam beds (at least in the master suite), the best stove and sharpest knives my non-skiing wife has seen in any rental, and an awesome hot tub that we were in during a blizzard on our last day there. The owner was super responsive to a few questions we had as well as when one of our party left a cell phone behind. The garage is spacious for 2 cars and very tall, allowing us to drive right in with our Thule roof rack with plenty of clearance. The area behind the house goes on forever up a hill for kids to explore, sled, build snowmen, etc. We were an easy 30 min drive to Northstar where we skied and a 5 min drive to the bottom of the Tahoe Donner area for ski rentals, pickup takeout, grocery store, etc. Everything about our trip was great and we plan to return!

Well kept place to stay. House has everything that family in vacation needs.
There is no TV Cable or Smart TV in the living room, also no grill at all.
Beside this two issues its 5 star stay;)

This is NOT mentioned in their description even though they don't allow pets - the owners have a cat, so if you are allergic to animal hairs or dander then this place might not be for you. I'm just providing this bit of information so you can make the appropriate decision for your rental choice. We found out by seeing the cat crate in the mud room entrance and there is a cat climber tree in the living room. It didn't affect us since none of us are allergic.
This place is great for families with kids. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and look forward to coming back again.
