Our family rents his property since 20 years and thanks to our experience, we quickly adapted to the Coronavirus situation in order to guarantee to our guests maximum safety. Even if not currently prescribed by local laws for private rentals, in order to guarantee both our and your safety, we implemented the best protocols adopted by top class hotels.
Reasons why you should rent our villa:
+ At check-in (and check-out) we will give you a tour of the villa by wearing masks and gloves
- We kindly ask our guests to also adopt masks during check-in.
- We will also kindly ask you to let us take body temperature in order to double it is under the 37.5° allowed threshold
+ The property is totally private and isolated and, thanks to its big garden and swimming pool, it allows to live an amazing holiday even limiting visits to crowded places like the beach
+ Every mattress will be covered with a 70° washable isolating pad able to protect from viruses, also bed linen and all towels will be safely washed at 70° or higher temperatures
+ Disinfection/cleaning personnel: people that clean the property have been instructed on the new procedures and will use one-time-use masks and gloves
+ Disinfection: at every guest change all the rooms and swimming pool area will be disinfected with bleach (min. 10%) and alcohol (min. 70%) solutions as suggested by anti-coronavirus protocols
+ Swimming pool: chlorine water level will be increased to 0,7 - 1,5 mg/l as suggested for public pools

We had a wonderful stay in this top of the hill beautiful home. The decks are amazing. The home and property have everything you need to enjoy your stay on the Ligurian Sea in Italy. Hosts were friendly and available but respected our privacy. Would stay again.

Super Familienferien
Wir haben eine super Woche im sehr schönen Haus verbringen dürfen. Wir waren zwei Familien mit Kindern zwischen 2-5 Jahren. Der Garten und die damit verbundenen Spielmöglichkeiten waren ideal für uns.
Maria und Giorgio waren sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit und wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Super Rundumpaket
Wir waren 3 Generationen Enkel bis Großelter und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, mit einem großen Außenbereich, viel Spaß-Equipment (Volleyballnetz, Barbecue, Tischtennisplatte, Spielzeug), großem 12m Pool und einer herrlichen Aussicht! Besonders toll sind der fußläufige Anschluss an die umliegenden Wanderwege und der Fußweg von 800m (allerdings 120 Höhenmeter) an den Strand. Die Eigner Maria&Giorgio sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hätten uns dennoch mehr Privatsspäre gewünscht, da sie wegen Problemen im Garten viel anwesend waren.

Traumhaft
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche mit einer befreundeten Familie in dem Haus verbracht. Es war einfach perfekt, der traumhafte Blick, ein großer exklusiver Pool, sehr viel Platz im und um das Haus mit vielen Möglichkeiten auch für die Kinder. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen und können es sehr weiterempfehlen.

Eine Verwöhn-Oase erster Güte!
Wie haben wir unsere Familien-Ferienwoche genossen! Im grosszügigen Pool und auf der Terrasse haben wir uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wiese hinter der Villa kam unserer Spielfreude entgegen. Der detailreiche, liebevoll gepflegte Garten lud uns zum Staunen und Verweilen ein.
Auch der reich bestückte Willkommenskorb von Maria und Giorgio mit den eigenen Spezialitäten wird unvergessen bleiben! Die Gastgeber haben uns zurückhaltend und kompetent begleitet.
Mit der nötigen Finanzspritze würden wir jederzeit zurückkehren.

Das an einem Berg gelegene Anwesen mit Pool und genügend Platz für mehrere Personen lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Die Vermieter sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Personen. Alles in allem ein super Gesamtpacket für einen entspannten Urlaub.

Tolle Villa mit Aussicht und Umschwung
Maria und Giorgio sind sehr liebenswürdig und haben uns toll empfangen. Man hat viel Platz zum Spielen und zum Verweilen. Der Pool ist angenehm gross und es hat auch genügend Liegen. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Wunderschöne Villa mit atemberaubendem Meerblick
Trotz Corona haben wir uns nach Ligurien aufgemacht, da diese Region weniger betroffen war. Ausserdem schauen die Eigentümer sehr genau auf Hygiene, welches uns während unseres Aufenthalts ein sicheres Gefühlt gab.
In den Restaurants am Strand wird auch genau darauf geachtet das eine Maske getragen wird und in den öffentlichen Strandabschnitten der Abstand eingehalten wird.
Das Haus selber ist riesig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit einem schönen und grossen Pool und genialem Garten mit Zitronen, Oliven und mehr.
Unseren Tag liessen wir mit einer Runde Fussball auf der grossen Wiese oder mit Pingpong ausklingen. Unsere Familie hatte sehr viel Spass.
Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.
Wir erfreuen uns auch Zuhause noch an dem leckeren Olivenöl :-)
Wenn wir mal wieder in der Region Ferien machen - definitiv in dieser Villa. Danke

Traumhafter Urlaub
Die Villa liegt malerisch am Hang, der Ausblick ist traumhaft, das Grundstück ist sehr großzügig, es gibt Obstbäume, Rasenflächen, nicht zu vergessen der sehr große Pool, der für unsere Kids das Highlight war.
Die Gastgeber / Vermieter sind äußerst freundlich und immer zur Stelle, wenn man sie benötigt.
Insgesamt ein sehr runder Urlaub, das Haus darf als Geheimtipp gelten!

Perfekt semesterhus för familjer
Vi hade en toppenvecka i huset som hade allt vi behövde. Fantastiskt läge med imponerande utsikt ut över havet och orterna Spotorno och Noli.
Ungarna älskade poolen och vi hade trevliga middagar på verandan.
Man behöver ha bil för att handla och göra utflykter.
Värdparet bjöd bl a på egenpressad olivolja och nykokt aprikosmarmelad 😋 och vi hade en bra dialog med dem under hela vistelsen.

Familienferien
Wir durften eine herrliche Woche in Bergeggi in der Villa von Maria und Giorgio verbringen. Für sechs Erwachsene und zwei Kinder hatte die Villa die perfekte Grösse. Nach der herzlichen Begrüssung durch Giorgio fühlten wir uns sofort heimisch.
Neben einer Hammer-Aussicht auf das Meer bietet die Villa alles was das Herz begehrt. Viel Platz im und rund ums Haus, grosser Pool, Grillstelle, Pizzaofen, Tischtennistisch, Töggelikasten, Volleyball-Platz, Spielsachen für die Kinder usw.
Bergeggi selber bietet nicht so viel. Zum Einkaufen oder Essen im Restaurant geht man am Besten ins Nachbardorf Spotorno (ca. 4 km). Schöne Promenade dem Meer entlang und ein wunderschönes italienisches Dorf mit kleinen Läden und vielen Restaurants.
Ich war schon an vielen Orten in den Ferien, aber so eine Top-Betreuung durch Maria und Giorgio habe ich noch nie erlebt. Sie gehen auf alle Wünsche ein und sind immer für einen da. Zur Begrüssung gab es einen Korb mit allerlei Spezialitäten. Die meisten aus eigener Produktion. - Top!
Wir werden diesen Urlaub nie vergessen und und sollten wir wieder einmal die ganze Familie zusammen Ferien machen, wäre dies die erste Adresse.

Traumhafte Kletterferien bei Giorgio und Maria
Wir, das heisst 2 Erwachsene (+ 3 Kinder im Alter von 17-19 Jahren) durften vom 4.5. - 11.5. bei Giorgio und Maria wunderschöne Kletterferien verbringen. Die Vermieter waren äusserst nett und das Willkommensgeschenk mit hausgemachten Spezialitäten hat uns sehr gefreut.
Das Haus ist wunderbar gelegen und die wichtigsten Klettergebiete sind in gut 20-25 min. Autofahrt erreichbar.
Wir genossen den grossen Garten, den praktischen Aussengrill, die wunderbaren Terrassen mit dem traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer und natürlichen den Pool, den uns Giorgio extra vorbereitet hatte, obwohl es erst Anfangs Mai war.
Was wir sehr schätzten, war natürlich das super Platzangebot und das freie WLAN, das in den Ferien nicht mehr wegzudenken ist, die grossen Betten und guten Matratzen!
... und natürlich, dass wir Namido, unseren Flat Coated Retriever mitnehmen durften!!!!

Vielen Dank an Maria und Giorgio für diesen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Das Haus hält, was es verspricht! Die Gegend ist für Ausflüge jeglicher Art geeignet und die Tipps der Vermieter sind sehr hilfreich. So freundliche Vermieter empfiehlt man gerne weiter. Egal ob Tauchen, Shoppen oder einfach die Seele baumeln lassen...ein rundum perfekter Urlaub

Beautiful View - Great Pool
We arrived without a car and Marie was incredibly kind helping us get our supplies. Both Marie and Georgio made us feel very welcome in sharing their home. There is a local shop which will deliver milk/bread each moring before 10.00am. The pool is fantastic and was constantly maintained for the first few days. by Georio. The house has everything you require and the aircon in the bedrooms was much appreciated in the heat. We walked most mornings to Bergeggi for coffee and shopping it takes 10 mins from behind the house. The walk to and from the beach/Spotorno kept us fit & takes about 20 mins. Spotorno is very much a seaside town - if you are looking for quieter places then Noli & Bergeggi will suit.
The owners live in the flat next to the pool (the windows on the photograph are theirs) and this is also where their front door is.
There is wifi but the modem is not in the part you rent so you are reliant on the owners fixing if it goes down. If you have children there is plenty to amuse with pool toys, badmington/football net in the garden plus a tennis table. 2 families could certainly stay here comfortably.

Amazing Villa with Lovely Hosts
We stayed for 2 weeks (thank you Maria!) in this lovely villa with extended family. One of the most remarkable features of the house is the jaw-dropping view of the sea – the only thing that topped the view was the hospitality of Maria and Giorgio; they are truly gracious, generous hosts.
The house itself was perfect for multiple families and small children (e.g. the pool was on a different level from the living space). All the bedrooms on both levels were well appointed and each had air conditioning. There was a lovely garden in the back featuring many outdoor activities including badminton and Ping-Pong, not to mention a wood burning pizza oven.
The nearby towns and beaches are easily accessible and we spent many fun days going between the beaches and the pool often finding wonderful seafood for lunch on our outings.
This was a really great place and we highly recommend it.

Tolles Haus mit wunderbar großem Pool und großer Schattenterasse
Wir hatten mit vier Erwachsenen und sechs Kindern zwischen 5 und 13 Jahren einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dieser herrlichen Villa. Das großzügige Gelände bot jedem genügend Entfaltungsmöglichkeiten, wobei unsere Kinder den Pool besonders genutzt haben, und wir den traumhaften Blick von der großzügigen Terrasse genossen haben. Die Klimaanlage in allen Schlafräumen war ein sehr angenehmes Extra. An der Ausstattung hat uns nichts gefehlt.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar, der Fußweg zum Strand ist schön schattig aber auch sehr steil. Ein Ausflug mit dem Tretboot zur Insel von Bergeggi (nicht betretbar) ist sehr empfehlenswert zum Schnorcheln. Die Vermieterin war jederzeit ansprechbar und ausgesprochen herzlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen lieben Dank für das leckere Pfirsichgelee und das Olivenöl aus eigener Ernte. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The villa, in the hills of Bergeggi, met all our expectations: Well equipped and spacious rooms, large terrace with both sun and shadow, tremendous view, nice garden and a swimming pool for cooling down every now and then. We stayed two weeks at the villa with our extended family and really loved it. The villa is on an elevation with a beautiful view over the Sea. You can reach the beach going down stairs (the way up might for some be a bit of a climb), from where you can then reach Spotorno, which has plenty of restaurants. The beaches are a mix between public and places where you have to pay for a chair etc. Our son did a diving course nearby which was nice. Renting a sailing boat unfortunately is not possible at one of the sailing clubs. The broader environment has much to offer in terms of smaller villages to visit or the larger town of Genova (60 KM).
The villa is spacious and is laid out over two floors; it has a large balcony on the front overlooking the swimming pool, whilst the kitchen in the back. There is also a well-functioning BBQ set up in the garden. The large and well maintained swimming pool is one level lower. The owners reside from time to time in an apartment on the lower level without disturbing your privacy and whilst doing some gardening and maintenance. The owning couple is actually very friendly and helpful, doing everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Overall this was a very nice holiday and one of the better places we rented, so a genuine 5 star rating!

Wonderful month-long vacation at a lovely home away from home!
Rented this residence from March 8 to April 6, 2015. The house is exactly as advertised -- very clean, well maintained and equipped. The house itself is spacious and the grounds are meticulously maintained by the owners. The house can easily accommodate 8 people, more if the pull-out sofas and cots are used. On arrival, we were greeted with a lovely gift basket - what a nice welcoming gesture and much appreciated after such a long travel from Canada. The house is situated high up on the hill in the community of Torre del Mare, so the views from the terrace are simply amazing. Given the location of the house (approximately 1.5 km up the winding road through the community), we recommend a car is necessary, as the trek to the grocery store and other amenities involves a pretty significant climb up and down the hillside. However once at sea level (where the SS1 road is), it's an easy walk to Spotorno, Bergeggi, or other more distant towns. We made great use of the outdoor bar-b-que and pizza oven, as well as the ping pong table. There are hiking trails readily accessible directly from the main road just outside the security gate, which was an added bonus. We made several hikes during our stay, not only for the excercise, but to take photos of the beautiful vistas. During our month long stay, we visited many of the small towns along the coast, from the Cinque Terre all the way to a day trip to Monte Carlo. Our main shopping and hanging-out town was Spotorno, a 5 minute drive from the house. There are many nice little shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in the town, as well as a regional train station that connects Spotorno to other more major hubs.
Our hosts were terrific in answering whatever questions we had about the area, gave us some suggestions on interesting things to see and do, and also there are quite a few travel books and brochures on the area inside of the house for all guests to use and review in planning their adventures.
We had the most amazing time and appreciated to call this residence our home during our month-long stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone.
