Everything about the home was perfect! We had 10 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful pool and very easy path to the beach. Everything was very clean and decorated beautifully. We loved our experience there.

It was the perfect size for 4 adults, 4 kids (10-5yo) and a baby! The office off the kitchen was a great playroom, and the kids loved being able to scooter and play basketball on the driveway. Easy walk to the beach, low traffic and the beach was never remotely crowded.
We did not like the Hospitality app - kept crashing constantly.

Property location was great to access the beach and the main drive to get places. The space was large enough for our group of six to be together or have our own space. We had a door issue and maintenance came out two days later, and did an excellent job fixing it. Cleanliness was an issue for our stay; bathmats clearly not washed between rentals, doors/handles on refrigerator and pantry were dirty, outdoor shower was littered with shampoo bottles and dryer lint. The management company said they would send someone out to clean the outdoor shower and never did. We were frustrated with the housekeeping issues as the rest of the property seemed great.

It was an amazing time staying at OBX. We came from CT and had a long drive, luckily house was ready early and they texted us. The 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths were perfect for the two families we went with. The wrap around decks were amazing. There were two ways to go to the beach and we tried them both. The beach itself was one of the nicest beaches I’ve ever seen. The only thing I didn’t love was the kitchen was on 3rd floor and we wanted to be outside by the pool and bringing up and down food was a pain, but that’s such a 1st world problem lol! The hot tub and pool was the best part! Our kids had hours and hours of fun and slept like babies every night. Adults too! I enjoyed having a dip in the hot tub every night after a day at the beach. We would definitely go back! Just need to recover from the drive haha! Was it worth 14 hours in the car with our kids? I think so it was amazing thank you for having us!

Family vacation 2022
We had a wonderful time at Key to Paradise! We had 8 adults and one teenager. We were able to see so many amazing attractions. We saw Currituck,Bodie and Hatteras lighthouses, sunset at Jockeys Ridge,The Elizabethian Gardens, The Lost Colony and Manteo waterfront. We were thankful to have a pool and hot tub to soak my aching feet! The walk to the beach was not far but with the heat and steep dunes we only made it a few times! It was worth it to see the ghost crabs at night! The stairs and the walk to the beach were a little difficult for my elderly parents and a workout for me as well.

property location was great, just a short walk to the beach.the house had everything we needed for the weeks stay. pretty rainy week but enough to do to keep us busy. loved the pool and hot tub. however, the house definatly could have been cleaner-child's finger prints all over the full length mirrors, ceiling fans were so dirty, cherrios on the floor, looks like the furniture had not been moved in some time to sweep under it.

The only downside was the pool did have quite a bit of sand in it. The notification on the pool door was served at noon which was after departure of previous tennants. Firstly, showers showers should be taken prior to entering the pool. However it was serviced after departure. We LOVE this unit and take care as it was our own! Can't wait till next year!!😊

Property was not in expected condition upon arrival. Carpeting was not vacuumed, counter tops were not wiped down, stove top had spilled and burned on food, dishes contained remains of food,carpet in front of kitchen sink very dirty really needed to be replaced, bathroom floors contained dirt and hair, had to wonder if they were actually cleaned. My wife spent the first two hours of her vacation washing dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Unit definitely needs some attention and general maintenance performed. Had to call for maintenance to have all 3 bath drains cleaned, they all were very slow draining, backing up. A/C system needs to have filters replaced. They were all clogged so badly that the units ran continually, and in one bath the air flow was placing dust and grime upon the wall from the plugged filters. Carpets should be cleaned, floors have a lot of marks that need to be cleaned, a coat of paint to freshen up the unit would not hurt, most of the lounge chairs in the pool area were cracked in the center of the seat.Location of the unit to the beach was great, pool was good, hot tub as well. Unit has a nice exterior appearance, inside needs attention to match. I would not rent this unit again, or recommend it to anyone.

I had family in for Thanksgiving and couldn't fit them all in my home. We rented Key to Paradise for the overflow, 5 adults and 1 child. It was perfect, the kitchen was very well stocked and the house is precious! Everyone had a great time. We loved the themed bedrooms! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was my second timing staying in this house and I absolutely love it. The location to the beach and town is great. The pool is an extra bonus to have when the weather isn't the best for a beach day and it is a good size with plenty of sitting.

Would stay there again!
We had a great time at this property. It's very spacious and clean. The kids loved the pool. Hubby and I loved the hot tub. We loved that it was a 6 min walk to the beach. Kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need for cooking. Beds were all comfortable. It was a great place for my family to be able to spend vacation. My only issue and it has zero to do with the house was a 6pm check in was to me a little late to be checking in. I know I could have paid for an earlier check in but I've stayed in plenty of other places in OBX and was able to check in sooner. Felt like we missed a day there bc of it but it won't stop us from coming back. Might just try another company. Over all. Awesome place!!!!!

The walk to the beach wasn’t bad, had a few hills which made pulling our wagon a little tougher, but luckily all our kids were old enough to walk and carry things. The house could use some updates. A shower head with a hose to help rinse of young children and clean sand from the tub would be great! All new toilet seats would improve general impression of bathrooms. The pool gate latch needs to be changed out to make access more protected for young children and make it easier to use from both sides. We had several wasp nests and were told an exterminator was coming to take care of it, but no one came. Luckily no one in our party was allergic. Several wasps did het into the home though from accessing the decks. Overall, though we enjoyed our stay. The layout was great for two families. The pool was great for after the beach too! Would stay here again!

Loved the house, pool, and hot tub! Very clean, everything was just as stated. Kitchen well-equipped and clean. Even had a ‘neighborhood cat’ that came to visit for a lovin’! Beautiful ocean views and good access to the beach. Lots of great food places also.

Amazing getaway
We booked this property for our first family beach vacation. I was amazed at how great the place was. The pool and hot tub were a favorite of the kids. The location is perfect. The street is quiet, until the garbage truck came through at 3:17AM. Lol. One thing to note, if you take the trail that goes to the beach the path over the dunes is very steep, and the loose sand makes it difficult to climb. We just wound up going to the end of the street and crossing over on the stairs there. It is the longer walk but not ridiculously so. The only complaint we have about the property is that when you are in the bedrooms on the second floor, the floors above creak loudly and you can hear everyone walking around upstairs. It is loud enough that it woke some people from sleep. Beside that we had a tremendous time, the taco shop in the mall behind the house has fantastic food. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and pretty much anything you need to prepare a meal. We will definitely be staying here again. I wish there had been a guest book to sign then not just leaving online thank you and review for the property owners.
