About this house rental
The house was built in the 50s of the last century. In 2011 we have completely renovated the house and lovingly restored. A wood-burning fireplace and Larch floors create a cozy atmosphere. The W-LAN can be switched off.
In vegetable garden there are organic herbs and home-grown seasonal vegetables. In late summer / autumn, the pumpkins are harvest fresh. Anyone who wants can get involved with weeding and lawn mowing.
With 2019 we have started a new project: with the acquisition of a 1,500 m2 large meadow, the planting of a scattered meadow with fruit trees from the species conservation program of the "Noah's Ark" is starting. Then 20 trees will be available from July to October with their harvest for our guests.
Bathrooms: with underfloor heating, bath tub, double vanity, infrared sauna, heated towel rail, WC
Living room: with magazines and books to browse, leather couch, regional maps and literature, LED TV (with satellite channels). DVD's in English and German and board games.
Kitchen: ceramic hob (4 fields), refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter and Italian espresso machine), toaster, kettle, soda stream, blender, basic food (spices, vinegar, oil ... in organic quality)

The house itself is beautiful, as is the view on the lake from the deck. The house has a warm, friendly feeling to it. We loved the kitchen, were we stayed most of the time, but we stayed out of the sitting room due to the lights that we thought to be unwelcoming, too little in number and too bright. The bedrooms were good, roomy and with nice beds. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We missed a separate or extra toliet and would have loved to have a proper shower. Showering in the bathtub without a showercurtain was manageable, but not ideal.
Overall we a pleasant stay, not in the last place because of the nice owners that took great care in making sure we had a good start of our stay.

We stayed in the house as a family with 2 teenage kids. It was very spacious and convenient but especially the terrace with the beautiful view made this house a perfect spot!
We arrived in the evening after dark, the entrance of the house was a bit difficult to find but once entered we really enjoyed the location. From the house you can walk down to the lake and village, convenient to reach supermarket, restaurants and the swim area.
Franz was a great host and easy communication, the house really has all equipment you can think of.
The spacious bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs which was not really a problem but since the authentic wooden stairs are very squeaky, better to avoid toilet visits during the night as it will wake up the whole family 😀
All in all our visit to Millstadt was definately worthwhile and we would visit again if we are planning for Austria! Big thanks to Franz for being such a good host!

The carpet upstairs is very slippery. The banister upstairs is comming loose from the wall.

We had a wonderful week in this very comfortable house. It has an outstanding lake view, it was very warm, light and cosy. The host was always available, everything was as described, we did not encounter any difficulties. Overall it was a great stay, we would love to come again! Thank you!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit wunderschöner Aussicht
Es war alles wie erwartet, bzw besser! Es ist ein wirklich schönes Ferienhaus und perfekt für eine 4-köpfige Familie. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief super, jede Frage wurde sofort und immer freundlich beantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einziger Nachteil ist die Lage steil am Berg ohne Parkplatz direkt am Haus (ca. 20 Meter steil bergauf, gefolgt von einem kurzen steilen Abstieg zur Haustür). Diese Lage bot allerdings einen unvergesslich schönen Ausblick auf den Millstätter See.
Ich empfehle dieses Ferienhaus gerne!

Sehr schöne Gegend, toller Seeblick
Schönes kleines Häuschen mit tollem Seeblick. Fußweg zum Strandbad mit "voller Ausrüstung" etwas beschwerlich. Der Verkehr unterhalb ist leider recht deutlich zu hören. Küche gut ausgestattet. Im Badezimmer eine tolle Infrarotsauna, dafür leider "nur" eine Badewanne mit Duschmöglichkeit , aber keine Dusche. Sehr netter, bemühter Vermieter. Kurz und gut: Absolut zu empfehlen für Menschen die gerne wandern und die Natur lieben.

Tolle Unterkunft und Umgebung
Wir sind als Familie (4 Erwachsene) mit Kleinkind für eine Woche vom 03.10-10.10.20 angereist und hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus gehabt. Auch unser Enkelkind (9 Monate) hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einfach wundervoll und lädt zum Verweilen ein oder auch zum Grillen. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen schönen Urlaubsaufenthalt benötigt. Schön war auch die Nutzung der Kräuter aus dem eigenen Garten. Die Umgebung lädt zu zahlreichen Aktivitäten oder Wanderungen/Ausflügen ein. Das Wetter hatte auch mitgespielt, so dass wir eine Fahrradtour um den Millstätter See machen konnten und eine Wanderung am Weissensee, auch sind wir von der Lammersdorfer Hütte zum Granattor gelaufen. Am Regentag haben wir die Drautalperle (Schwimmbad) in Spittal besucht. Die Kommunikation und Abwicklung mit dem Gastgeber war völlig unproblematisch. Alles in Allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit einer tollen Unterkunft.

Helles, Gemütliches Ferienhaus
Der Seeblick von Terrasse und Balkon ist das Highlight des Hauses. Die Lage bringt es mit sich, dass der Weg zu Fuß hinauf recht steil ist. Wir haben die Hängematte und den Garten besonders genossen. Bogensportlern seien die Parcours am Egelsee und in Arriach besonders empfohlen, der im Maltatal ist eher nur für Anfänger geeignet.
Freundlicher Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, vielen Dank! Wegen Covid-19 muss man sich wenig Sorgen machen, wenn man wie wir eher auf Selbstversorgung setzt. Das Haus ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

uns hat der Urlaub in Ihrem Haus sehr gut gefallen. Im Haus mit Garten und Hängematte fehlt nichts, von der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf den See und zu Fuß ist man schnell im Millstätter Zentrum und am Seebad. entspannter Winterurlaub
Ein perfekter Ort, um vom Alltag Abstand zu nehmen! Das Haus erzählt von vergangenen Zeiten ist aber dennoch modern und gepflegt. Sauna, Kamin, kleine Bibliothek für alle Altersklassen, Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick ... Die Lage ist toll, zum Ski fahren kann man gut nach Bad Kleinkirchheim (Langlauf und alpin).

Super Winterurlaub!
Sehr schöne und gemütliche Hütte mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den See. Sehr gute Ausstattung, bequeme Betten und großes Badezimmer. In ca. 20 Autominuten erreicht man das schöne Skigebiet Bad Kleinkirchheim und an kalten Wintertagen ist der Kamin und die Infrarotkabine eine angenehme Wärmequelle. Die Vermietung verlief sehr unkompliziert und zuverlässig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen diese Hütte gerne weiter!

Oestereich einmal anders
Einfache und vertrauensvolle Abwicklung. Ruhe und Aktivität in einem Paket. Hervorragende zentrale Lage. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Menschen die gerne Schwimmen, Wandern und Radfahren. Toll auch die Infrarot-Kabine die man nach den täglichen Aktivitäten gut zur Entspannung nutzen kann.

Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen
Freundliches, helles Haus( viel Licht, Fenster und Terrassentüren nicht "verhangen"), sehr schöner Blick auf den See aus Küche, Wohnraum und großen Schlafzimmern . Einrichtung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig, auch wenn man den Luxus der Wärmekabine im Bad und des Ofens im Wohnzimmer nicht in Anspruch nimmt. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert.

Gemütliches Haus mit bezaubernden Blick auf d. See
Vier Erwachsene haben einen erholsamen und ruhigen Urlaub in einem großen schönem Haus mit einem herrlichen Blick auf den Millstätter See verbracht. Die Küche war mit allen funktionsfähigen Küchengeräten und Küchenutensilien ausgestattet. Die schöne Terrasse mit Garten und Grill haben wir ausgiebig genossen.

Schöner Urlaub in gemütlichem Ferienhaus
Wir können uns den Kommentaren der anderen Feriengäste nur anschließen: Der Blick von der Terrasse (und selbst vom Küchentisch aus) auf den See und auch auf die gegenüberliegenden Berge ist grandios! An einem milden Abend mit einem Stiegl in der Hand dem Zirpen der Heimchen zuzuhören und zu sehen, wie die Sonne hinter den Bergen verschwindet – einfach Entspannung pur.
Das Ferienhaus bietet alles, was man sich für einen Urlaub wünscht. Auch die Küche ist sehr gut ausgerüstet. Einziges Manko waren für meinen Mann, der bei uns kocht, die etwas lädierten beschichteten Pfannen. Für so viele unterschiedliche Köche wäre eine unverwüstliche Edelstahlpfanne wahrscheinlich besser geeignet.
Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist auch für Hundebesitzer ideal: Gleich gegenüber führt ein kleiner Wanderweg den Berg hinauf.
Millstatt als Ausgangspunkt ist bestens geeignet für Ausflüge in die umliegende Bergwelt. Selbst die Hohen Tauern sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen und die Nockberge sowieso. Bei den Almhütten waren wir von Fredi’s Kochkünsten in der Millstätter Hütte am meisten begeistert! Aber Kasnudeln und Kaiserschmarren auf der Sommereggerhütte mit der wunderschönen Sonnenterrasse sind auch nicht zu verachten.
Herzlichen Dank noch einmal an Herrn Pichorner, der so freundlich war, uns mit drei Hunden zu beherbergen und uns super entspannt und flexibel bei dem etwas komplizierten An- und Abreisetermin Hin-und-Her entgegengekommen ist…
Wir wären gern noch ein paar Tage länger geblieben.

Schönes Haus mit Super-Ausblick auf den Millstätter See
Als Familie mit zwei Kindern haben wir die zwei Wochen Urlaub in dem netten Haus mit schöner Terrasse und Garten sehr genossen. Man hat einerseits einen prima Blick auf den Millstätter See, und andererseits kann man direkt vom Haus aus Wanderungen in die Berge starten. Es war ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub.

Wunderbares Haus. Tolle Aussicht
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet die Schlafzimmer ein Raumwunder und die Betten bequem. Einzig der Wasser Druck lässt zu wünschen übrigen.

The house was warm and welcoming with a decorated Christmas tree up and all the facilities were great. Very comfortable house. Had everything we needed. Very clean and the beds were comfy. View from terrace over lake was fabulous. Curtains in bedrooms are not v thick so if you're a light sleeper bring an eye mask.
