Fabulously Quiet
Overly older style cabin in a quiet setting. There is just silence and big open skies, mountain and desert. At the same time a short drive to Twentynine Palms. So many artifacts from the past that gave the cabin a very warm and cozy feel. We brought our dog and the cool floor was a bonus.

Joshua Tree Leg
Michael’s property is close to Joshua Tree NP and town amenities, yet quiet and secluded. A tortoise visited us in the evening on our doorstep. Cool, huh? It has all the connectivity you need. The bed is comfortable. The AC on a hot day very good. It is clean and neat. Recommended mended for outdoors people.

Lots of privacy, great for photos
This funky cabin has lots of unique details and is conveniently located close to the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. The center of 29 Palms is a short five minute drive. Its beautiful setting on 5 acres is set back from the town for expansive desert views which provide great sunsets and stargazing without light interference from neighboring homes. The kitchen is very well equipped with spices, plates pots & pans, good stove/oven, serving and cooking utensils etc., but when we were there the whole silverware drawer was missing, probably not the norm. Plastic utensils were provided, but BYO wine opener. Huge tub, no septic issues and good water pressure. Allows pets but was super clean and smelled just fine. Opening both doors will give you a nice cross breeze, we didn’t even need to use the AC, but keep the screens closed or these nocturnal dragonfly guys will come in. Don’t worry, they are cute and don’t bite.
The cabin has a comfortable, homey yet artistic feel, and some interesting landscaping where we had a lot of fun taking pictures. We were really happy and comfortable and would highly recommend to others and hope to return soon!

Wonderful peaceful spot in the desert
This is a great place if you just want to get away from it all and have some peaceful time in the desert. The house is cozy and has personality, and even though it is so quiet and peaceful, it still isn't far from "civilization" if you want or need anything. Since it was winter, we didn't worry about AC, but the heaters worked just fine on a 30 degree night, and the kitchen was well sized for a vacation rental of this sort. We wished we could have stayed longer, tbh. Michael was super responsive and ready to help, even though we didn't have any issues, I had zero concern that any problem wouldn't be taken care of right away. I fully expect we will stay here again in the future.
