Magical Ocean Views in Beautiful Villa

We had a fantastic time in Casa Geniol. The views are gorgeous, and sunrise provides magical light throughout the whole villa. Communication with the owner Christian was excellent, and Marijke was an great host accommodating our desired check-in and check-out times. The gardener and handyman Enrique was also super friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome. The villa is very spacious, much bigger than the pictures suggest. We were just with three people but think it would still feel very spacious if you’d stay with 8. The villa was super clean, with a modern kitchen that has everything you can think of. There’s several terraces offering sun or shade, all with gorgeous views. The neighborhood is quiet, and a short walk will get you to the beach in La Herradura, which we found to be a lovely relaxed beach town. Also several great hiking opportunities close-by. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Perfect family va action.

Casa Geniol was a beautiful home for our family get away. Easily accommodated our family of 7. The views from the various decks were expansive and peaceful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly sized and allowed for towels, toiletries, and general “stuff” people travel with. The property manager Crees was helpful and kind, the kitchen was well equipped and allowed for our many meals prepared in the house. The pool was a big hit for adults and children. Many stairs so that could be a hindrance for older or very young guests. Our 3 year old grand daughter loved keeping up with her 6 and 8 year old siblings so not an issue for us! All in all a wonderful and peaceful vacation, we were close to beaches but happy to be at the house. Perfect!

Die Casa Geniol war die letzte Station unserer Spanienreise bevor wir über Malaga wieder nach Hause geflogen sind. Was für ein großartiger Abschluss. Ein Traumhaus mit allen Annhemlichkeiten mit einem sensationellen Ausblick aufs offene Meer. Geräumig, hell, sauber und ruhig gelegen. Unterhalb des Hauses sieht man auf den malerischen Yachthafen, das kleine Dorf La Herradura mit seinem 2 Kilometer langen Strand, hat auch alles, was man in Südspanien am Meer braucht. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns extra noch ein paar Tipps für die Umgebung geben lassen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Was für ein Haus! Perfekte Lage, traumhafte Sicht, Ruhe und Entspannung pur. Man merkt, dass sich der Erbauer sehr viele Gedanken gemacht hat, um einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu gewährleisten. Es hat an nichts gemangelt. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: Eine Woche war zu kurz.

Siehe oben, eigentlich alles perfekt, Wöchentliche Reinigung Haus, Pool und Garten kennen wir von anderen Ferienhäusern dieser Preisklasse, Sonnenschirm auf der oberen (Frühstücks-)Terasse fehlt Sehr angenehm ist, dass alles zugänglich ist und verschlossene Privatbereiche nicht sichtbar existieren

A Great House in a Spectacular setting

We just stayed one week at this fabulous house overlooking the Mediterranean. The house is exactly as pictured and described on the website and has everything one could want in the way of amenities. The views from the house and the many decks of the house are truly spectacular. In addition, Christian and the local property manager, Cees, were very responsive to our questions and also were available during our stay to insure that all went well with our stay. This was truly an exceptional experience.

Atemberaubend

Atemberaubend... dieses Wort trifft auf alles in und um die Villa Casa Geniol zu. Das Haus ist architektonisch sehr gelungen, die Einrichtung ist puristisch und hervorragend, das Haus ist geschmackvoll mit Bildern und Gegenständen gestaltet (besonders erwähnenswert - der Buddah). Der Pool ist sauber und ein Vergnügen für die ganze Familie. Der Garten ist gepflegt. Der Verwalter ist freundlich und immer erreichbar. Und das Highlight ist der großartige Ausblick auf Meer und Hafen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

What an amazing, relaxing and memorable two weeks we just spent at your gorgeous home. This home has everything you need for your stay. It was wonderful to wake up every morning to such views. We spent much of our vacation relaxing by and enjoying the pool. Wir wollten einen spontanen Kurzurlaub mit Freunden buchen, insgesamt 4 Personen. 3 Häuser standen standen in der engeren Auswahl. Da der Manager dieses Hauses sehr schnell und überaus freundlich geantwortet hat, haben wir uns für dieses Objekt entschlossen.. und: wir haben es nicht bereut. Vom ersten Moment an wurde der Wohlfühlfaktor durch den unvermeidlichen WOW" Effekt ergänzt. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.. an jeder Ecke kann man die Liebe zu den Details erkennen. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist perfekt. Ruhe und Entspannung in vollem Umfang. In der nahe gelegenen Bucht, die wir zu in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreicht haben, sind wir sehr freundlich und kulinarisch verwöhnt worden. Zusammengefasst: Erholung pur.. vorallem bei diesem Ausblick. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war die viel zu schnell vorübergehende Woche. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gerne will ich eine gute Bewertung abgeben, denn das Haus und alles "Drumherum" ist wirklich sehr schön und exakt so wie es beworben wird. Deshalb kann ich eigentlich auf die Beschreibung im Portal hinweisen - da ist nichts übertrieben. Dazu passt (und ist ebenso wichtig) die freundliche und hilfsbereite Art des Verwalters, der immer erreichbar war und vor allem eine höfliche und zuvorkommende Umgangsart pflegte. Ich habe schon Hausverwalter/Eigentümer kennengelernt, die einem (auch derartigen Preisen) das Gefühl gaben, ein gerade noch geduldeter, zeitweiser Bewohner im Haus zu sein. Hier hatte man aber immer das Gefühl, der willkommene Gast und zumindest zeitweise der Hausherr zu sein. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer war sehr nett und hilfreich. Man hat es auch eingerichtet, dass wir am letzten Tag bis um 14:30 im Haus bleiben konnten - wegen unseres späten Fluges hat uns das sehr geholfen.

Designer-Villa an bester Lage in Andalusien

Das Haus ist architektonisch wie von der Lage her herausragend. Es ist hochmodern und nur wenige Jahre alt; dadurch gibt es keine "muffeligen" Ecken oder Gegenstände. Die Aussicht ist spektakulär, die Ruhe perfekt (zwischen Haus und nahem besteht Meer keine Strasse). Garten und Haus sind bestens gepflegt. Ebenfalls bestehen in der Nähe für den Ausgang attraktive Orte (Almunecar, Herradura, Nerja). Etwas weiter weg, aber auch für einen Tagesausflug gut erreichbar finden sich die einzigartigen Städte Granada (1 hr) und Sevilla (3 hr). Das Ehepaar welches sich um das Haus kümmert ist super freundlich, immer erreichbar und völlig unkompliziert. Alle technischen Einrichtungen haben bestens funktioniert. Die Küche ist vollwertig ausgerüstet so dass "richtig" gekocht werden kann. Wir können das Objekt ohne Vorbehalte weiterempfehlen. Gerne werde wir selbst wieder kommen. Zu bemerken ist einzig, dass es sich um ein Terrassen Haus ohne Lift handelt. Treppen gehen ist damit eine Voraussetzung. Für Gehbehinderte ist das Haus daher nicht zu empfehlen.

A gorgeous house with stunning views, we loved our 2 week stay here, the Villa is decorated in a minimalistic way with lovely photos, a soothing backdrop. We are in international family and my teen children flew in from 3 continents so it was important for us to all have family time together. The villa is not really little child friendly with loads of steps and an unfenced pool, it could be a challenge for an older person who is not used to walking up and down stairs either but for us it was perfect. The only small problem we had was the entertainment system, the television is quite an old model, my daughter had her movie collection on an external harddrive and sadly this was not at all compatible to the older type model of TV in the Villa, also the satellite TV has only a couple of english channels. The chef in our party was quite happy with the kitchen facilities and we loved eating out on the terrace, there was a small charcoal BBQ that was adequate. The location needs a car, and we found the drive from Malaga airport to be really easy...we enjoyed La Herradura very much and I am sure we will return.

This was a perfect holiday! I was traveling with my wife and 2 other parties and we had just a wonderful time in Casa Geniol. The location is breathtaking, the view and the charm of the house excites. The villa is very luxurious and from the first moment on, You can feel the devotion of the owner to make something special. Very modern and spectacular architecture, very subtle interior-style. Nothing was missing, we really loved it very much. The contact with the owner and the people who take care about the house is excellent, the prices reasonable. We can absolutely recommend this house!! and hope to come back soon. Peter.

We fell in love with this amazing house at the first sight. Situated in the quiet street we had full privacy to enjoy our time there (1 week). Very clean, well maintained and equipped we had everything we needed. Friendly landlord was on the phone ready to answer our questions and recommend where to go. We (4 adults, 2 children) spent fantastic vacation week on the Casa Geniol. Villa is located on the hill just above Marina del Este (lovely small harbor). Villa itself is breathtaking beautiful with it's modern architecture, clean and comfortable rooms, all needed equipment and many terraces. We loved also the area of Punta de la Mona, with nice houses and surroundings. Sea view from Casa Geniol is incredibly adorable, you can see it from almost everywhere from the villa, all around the day - when swimming on the pool or relaxing on one of the terraces or just sitting at the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay a lot and could not have asked anything more. With many great memories created, our thanks for nice vacation made possible goes to maintenance personnel as well as owners of the villa.

We had a great time in the villa (we stayed 1 week). It is situated on the hill with an easy access to the city. The house was clean, well maintained and we had no problems at all. I definitely recommend this villa to anyone who wants to enjoy privacy and comfort.
