About this villa rental
The rustic villa is located directly under the rocks in the picturesque town of Grižane, near Crikvenica. The house was built in Art Nouveau style in 1906 and renovated in 2013 in such a way that it retains the glamor of the century and a touch of history from the time of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and at the same time offers all the modern comforts that we are used to today.
The villa is detached in a quiet area of the village Marušici, with 900 m2 of private garden, large parking for 5 cars. The living area covers almost 300 m2 and extends over three floors.
On the ground floor of the villa there are two large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a beautiful sea view. One room is painted white with blue details and the other in warm ocher tones. In the rear part of the ground floor there is a washroom and a chamber.
We reach the first floor with wide wooden internal stairs. The walls are decorated with original paintings that were made during the construction of the house. On the left is a room in lavender color in which one wall is completely covered with original paintings. The room is furnished with century-old furniture. A private bathroom connects to the room. On the right of the corridor you enter the living area.
On the second floor there are two more bedrooms with a beautiful view of the valley, the lake and the sea. The rooms have their own large bathrooms, each with two sinks and bidet and rock view. A room (the green) and a bathroom are decorated with murals. The second room is soft orange. There is a small toilet on the mezzanine.
In the large air-conditioned living area, furnished with comfortable seating, you can spend quiet afternoons with television (SAT), reading or surfing in free wireless internet with your own laptop. The living room leads to the dining room and kitchen. The dining room is furnished with a large white table and a sideboard. Both have been here since the house was built. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances and inventory (oven, gas stove, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster).
There are two terraces from the kitchen. On the left an open west-facing, ideal for morning coffee chirping the crickets or a glass of wine at sunset. To the right of the kitchen is a covered terrace with a large wooden table and benches, where you will probably spend most of the day in the shade. Next to the terrace is a barbecue area and a few stairs lead to the garden where the swimming pool with blue water like the Adriatic Sea is located. The sundeck is paved and you can enjoy the view of the sea and the lake from the loungers (6 pieces) and a large sun bed under a romantic pergola or simply sitting in the pool. The whole area is sunny from early morning until the sun rises. Next to the heated pool (7.5x3.5m) there is an outdoor shower that is heated with solar cells. Behind it is only forest and high rocks, in front of it a large and open courtyard. For fun there is a bowling green where you can try out the traditional game of the Primoremen.

The house is excellent for three families travelling together. The descriptions are on spot and the view from the pool is exactly as beautiful as the pictures looks like. 15 mins by car to various beaches and restaurants.
Albin and Kornelija are great hosts. Always easy to reach and gives great suggestions for a wonderful vacation.
We would recommend this house to anyone and come back by our selves for next vacations in Croatia.

The house was very nice and charming and we enjoyed every day there.
Fantastic furniture in the house incl climate control, nice terrace, wonderful pool and of course pool for kids and also parents ☺️
We used the BBQ grill several times and enjoyed sunset at the pool.
Kornelija and Albin are very nice and gentle landlords and supported us whenver we needed advice or help for booking e.g. restaurant or boat tour.

Perfekter Urlaub
Wir waren 10 Tage mit 10 Personen (4 davon Kinder) in Albin und Cornelias Unterkunft.
Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Am Haus hat uns besonders gefallen, dass jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad besitzt. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und von uns sehr viel genutzt. Mit kleinen Kindern, muss man natürlich immer ein Auge darauf haben. Das Haus liegt direkt am Hang zum Berg, den wir auch mehrmals durch Wanderungen erkundet haben. Die Kinder haben sehr viel im Garten gespielt und der einmalige Grill wurde fast täglich genutzt. Die Unterkunft ist etwas ablegen vom starken Tourismus, was für uns aber auch den besonderen Charme ausmacht. Im kleinen Supermarkt im gleichen Ort findet man alles was man täglich benötigt, alles andere in Crikvenica etwa 20 Minuten Fahrt entfernt (wir nahmen lieber den längeren, aber weniger sportlichen Weg). Danke an Albin und Cornelia für die Hilfsbereitschaft und Aufmerksamkeit uns gegenüber, und auch für das leckere Essen ;-) Wir können uns gut vorstellen bald nochmal zu kommen.

Dream vacation
This property is a beautiful modern rustic farmhouse with all necessary modern amenities, a gorgeous pool and spectacular view. We spent 10 days, 9 nights in this amazing property. We took day excursions to different beaches, islands, boat rides, hikes, visited historical castles and amphitheater. The house was very comfortable, had everything what we needed. We ate family breakfast on a beautiful outdoor patio and lounged by the pool , played bacci ball. Our time went way too fast! The owners were very helpful, in finding the home, setting up TV to watch soccer games and were very responsive to all questions. Also allowed to to do a late check out which was very helpful with 7 kids in our group. Everyone had a fantastic vacation and can only give our highest recommendations!

Ein Traumhaus!
Wir waren mit acht Erwachsenen und sechs kleinen Kindern in dem Haus von Kornelia und Albin. Als wir ankamen waren wir einfach nur überwältigt weil das Haus und das Grundstück noch schöner als auf den ohnehin schon tollen Fotos waren. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr freundlich und wir konnten auch schon etwas früher als zur Check in Zeit das Haus beziehen. Die Schlafzimmer haben alle eine moderne Klimaanlage und es ist alles super sauber. Auch der Pool ist top gepflegt und einfach das absolute Highlight des Anwesens. Gerade mit einer größeren Gruppe, ist das Haus ideal. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Amazing
This is the most beautiful house, it exceeded all our expectations, it has been renovatedwith some much love, we felt privileged to look after it. We travelled as three families with teenage children, every bedroom was large and equally impressive. Our lovely hosts made the stay even more memorable, always available and happy to organise outings etc., we really enjoyed meeting them. All in all a fabulous holiday, we can't recommend this property and it's wonderful owners highly enough.

Wunderschöner Urlaub
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Das Haus ist sehr groß undtotal liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und wie in der Anzeig beschrieben. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend sowie bei Fragen rund um das Haus bzw. Aktivitäten stets zur Stelle. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Was für eine schönes Domizil!
Wir haben unseren Urlaub mit 10 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern sehr genossen. Tolle Zimmer, stilvoll eingerichtet und genau wie beschrieben. Die Vermieter waren immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit und haben sich gut gekümmert. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Grizane hat eine tolle Lage für Ausflüge zu diversen Stränden oder ins Landesinnere.

Charming House and lovely hosts
We just spent a lovely week at this beautiful home. We stay in VRBO properties about two or three times a year and have been doing so for many years. This house had the best outdoor arrangement we have ever had. There were multiple seating areas and multiple spots to sit in the sun or the shade depending on the time If day. The inside is arranged so that you have plenty of privacy from other guests since the bedrooms are spread over three floors. Cornelia and Albin have done a wonderful job of renovating the property. Cornelia and Albin found the right balance of being good hosts and giving us room and privacy.
There were plenty of activities close to the house, and despite bad weather for May, we had loads to do and lots of fun. Cornelia and Albin agreed to cook a meal for us one evening of lamb cooked “under the dome “with potatoes and I cannot say enough about how delicious it was. They were delightful dinner companions and were willing to share a lot of local knowledge and insights into Croatia that we never would have learned about.
We would love to come again!

Traumhafter Urlaub in der Villa Ursula
Wir hatten mit unserer Clique (8 Personen im Alter von 26 bis 30) eine wunderschöne Woche! Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und die Küche super ausgestattet. Die meiste Zeit haben wir jedoch im großzügig und überdachten Außensitzbereich, am Grill und natürlich am privaten Pool mit klasse Aussicht auf die Berge und das Meer verbracht. Das Haus mit insgesamt 5 Schlafzimmern und zugehörigen 5 Badezimmern ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Vermieter Koni und Albin sind superfreundlich und sehen hin und wieder nach dem rechten, sind hierbei jedoch in keinster Weise aufdringlich und sind einfach nur sehr nette Gastgeber!

Es war noch schöner, als wir (11 Personen) es uns vorgestellt hatten, super schön, super gepflegt, liebevoll eingerichtet und ihr erst! Ihr wart immer da, um uns Tipps zu geben oder wenn wir etwas für/im Haus gebraucht haben, das war einfach Klasse! Zauberhaft
Wir zwei befreundete Familien mit 6 Personen haben zwei wundervolle Urlaubswochen in der Villa Ursula verbracht. Wir wurden liebevoll empfangen obwohl wir vier Stunden zu früh angereist sind. Die Villa ist zauberhaft ruhig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts die Betreuung von Kornelija und Albin war von Anfang bis Ende zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Geniales Haus mit super Ambiente
Wir sind 5 befreundete Paare und verbringen jedes Jahr eine Woche Urlaub zusammen. Dieses Haus hat uns absolut überzeugt: Die Vermieter haben uns überaus freundlich empfangen, gaben wertvolle Tipps und zeigten sich sehr, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit Liebe restauriert, wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Jedes der 5 Schlafzimmer war anders, sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.
Geschirr und Küchengeräte waren ausreichend vorhanden.
Besonders genossen haben wir den überdachten Essplatz und den Pool, der vom Vermieter jeden Morgen gereinigt und gepflegt wurde. Einen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag könnten wir einbringen: Bei sommerlichen Temperaturen wären wären 2 Sonnenschirme oder ein Sonnensegel am Poolbereich sehr angenehm.

Wunderschöner Urlaub
Wir haben 10 wunderschöne Tage in der Villa Ursula verbracht.
Unsere Gruppe (10 Personen im Alter von 17 – 48) haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
Das Haus ist ein Traum. Ganz liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Wir haben 5 schöne große Zimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad bewohnt. In der hellen geräumigen Küche konnte man alles Notwendige finden. Das Wohnzimmer mit der chilligen Couch haben wir nur selten benutzt.
Auf der herrlichen Terrasse am Riesentisch haben wir immer gefrühstückt.
Jeden Morgen sind wir zum Dorfladen marschiert und haben frisches Brot gekauft. Dort gab es auch genug Auswahl an Käse, Wurst, Obst, Gemüse, Kaffee, Getränke usw.) In der Dorf-Bar war es auch ganz urig.
Der Pool war sehr schön und sauber. Auf den 6 Liegen und auf dem „Bett“ unter der Pergola konnten wir die schöne Aussicht (Meer, See, Berge) genießen.
Ans Meer fährt man ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. In Crikvenica gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.
Unser Highlight war ein Bootsausflug. Wir haben ein Boot mit Skipper gemietet, der uns an die einsamen Buchten der Insel Krk gebracht hat.
Tolle Tipps gab es von den Vermietern.
Wir danken Koni und Albin für die gute Gastfreundschaft. Es war sehr schön! Wir werden die Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Die 2 Wochen in der Villa Ursula waren sehr schön. Wir waren 10 Personen. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, großzügig und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Hier kann man die Ruhe mit Meer- und Bergblick genießen.
Das Haus und die Lage ist genau so schön wie auf den Fotos dargestellt.
In 10 min. ist man in Crikvenica und Novi Vinodolski. Zum Meer benötigt man 15 min.
Die Vermieter Kornelija und Albin haben sich toll um uns gekümmert und wertvolle Tipps zum Essen und Strand gegeben.
Zur Begrüßung gab es Erfrischungsgetränke.
Wir können das Haus zu 100% weiter empfehlen.

Super Ferien
Wir waren 6 junge Leute in dieser wunderbaren Villa. Das Haus sieht genau so aus wie auf den Fotos, zusätzlich hatte es noch eine schöne Pergola direkt am Pool. Als wir ankamen begrüssten uns die Vermieter persönlich und mit kalten Erfrischungsgetränken. Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool sind in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Praktisch waren auch die Parkmöglichkeiten für unsere Autos innerhalb der Gartenmauern. Der nächste Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto in weniger als 2 Minuten erreichbar und innerhalb von 10 Minuten ist man am Meer unten, wo es viele Restaurants, Strände und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt. Wir können die Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Perfekter Urlaub in Grizane
Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Leuten und haben eine tolle Juliwoche in der Villa Ursula verbracht und es war absolut perfekt! Die schöne Villa in Hanglage mit Blick auf das Meer bietet Schlafmöglichkeiten für insgesamt 12 Personen, einen großen schönen Garten mit Griller, einem großen Tisch und außerdem einen wunderschönen Pool mit toller Aussicht :)
Kornelija und Albin sind unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns einen Masseur organisiert, uns tolle Strände und Lokale in der näheren Umgebung empfohlen und waren immer zur Stelle wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben.

A Perfect Setting
We (6 adults and 6 young children) spent 2 extremely pleasant weeks at Villa Ursula. Kornelija and Albin met us at the house when we arrived. We took advantage of their offer to cater some dinners—it was very nice to try some of the local seafood/meats and we learned so much about them and about Croatia. They were very affable and accommodating hosts and they definitely made our trip so much more special. The house has its own special history and it has been updated with all the modern amenities while still maintaining its charm.
The house worked perfectly for us—with lots of bathrooms and three levels (soon to be four—they’re almost done renovating the attic) so that each family could have some privacy/space for themselves. The outdoor eating area and balcony were phenomenal. The pool (in which the kids swam daily) was located up a set of stairs, which was good because it made it less accessible to our two-year-old. The kids used the bocce court not just for bocce but as a sandbox—driving their matchbox cars around it. We spent some days just relaxing at the house and around town, but the house was also located centrally enough in Croatia that we were able to take day trips to Pula, Krk, Cres, Zadar, Plitvice, etc.
I wholeheartedly recommend this property and its hosts.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus in toller Lage
Die Villa Ursula ist ein Schmuckstück aus dem Jahr 1906 und ihre Besitzer Kornelija und Albin haben das Haus sehr behutsam und detailverliebt saniert. Die einzelnen Zimmer sind liebevoll und individuell, teilweise mit Antiquitäten, eingerichtet. Die originalen breiten Holzdielen machen das Haus sehr gemütlich. Der moderne Pool im mediterranen Garten bietet Erholung pur. Man kann sehr schöne Ausflüge von der Villa aus machen (Rijeka, Opatija, Plitwitzer Seen, Krk usw.) . Ein erholsamer wie auch interessanter Urlaub ist garantiert. Noch besonderer als das Haus sind deren Besitzer. Kornelija und Albin sind sehr gastfreundlich, geben gute Tipps, sind immer zur Stelle, wenn man sie braucht, und sehr diskret. Die Villa Ursula ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. 😃😃😃
